Swat.io is a very helpful tool for managing social media accounts with large teams. It makes it easier to schedule content and helps streamline community management, which keeps day-to-day work more organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It has a few hiccups: account tokens sometimes need to be refreshed unexpectedly, the UI isn’t very intuitive, and the analytics feature could use further improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been using Swat.io daily for many years, and it keeps getting better. The tool has a clear interface where the functions available for daily work are easy to find. The detailed role distribution allows even complex team structures to be mapped and easily implemented and integrated into the daily work routine. At the same time, I cannot emphasize enough the speed and quality of the German-speaking customer service.

The customer service also accepts suggestions for improvement, categorizes them, and forwards them to the development team. At least two of my suggestions have been integrated into the software by Swat.io over the years – the tool truly develops according to the needs of its customers. There are two things I can currently (January 2025) still criticize about Swat.io:

1. The administration of the account. The interface for it is not particularly intuitive. However, I hardly ever have to open it after setting up the tool once. Therefore, this point is only minor from my perspective.

2. The analysis and reports. The analysis part of the tool hasn't been updated for a long time, and the reports section has barely outgrown the beta phase. On the other hand, both are supposed to be modernized now, so this point of criticism will likely soon be moot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Swat.io is easy and intuitive to use. There are many features available and the team is constantly trying to improve swat.io's usability. I've also had a few questions along the way and have always received quick and good support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

So far there is nothing I particularly dislike about swa.tio. Sometimes I feel like it might not show me all the comments I have received on Instagram or Facebook that I haven't read yet – I always check back with Meta Business Manager to make sure and am pretty sure I would have missed some if I hadn't done that. swat.io is perfect for our team, as 3 out of 4 in the team only work 2 days a week and partly from home office - through the workflows in swat.io we are still up to date at all times :)

Additionally, we can measure the success of our work through the analytics function, present it in the company, and constantly adapt to the community.

Very intuitive and user-friendly as well as easy to use! The clear interface makes operation simple and efficient. Supports all major platforms and offers almost all essential functions for effective and fast social media management.

What we are missing, however, is the ability to schedule stories in advance – that would be a real added value. The AI features are also exciting, but not quite mature yet. The very basic thing I like about Swat.io is the UI. It appears as an easy to use platform, friendly to new users, besides the range of opportunities for social media management. Centralised management, advanced scheduling & CRM Integration are good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Social listening and content creation tools can be robust as a social media management tool. There can be more analytics that the tool can provide. I am not sure about the customer support experience so far though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- Tool for community management, because all channels at a glance and easy organization. The only drawback here: Comments on campaigns on Instagram are not displayed.

- Analytics tool shows practical metrics.

- I don't find the view in content planning optimal. My wish would be to work in more detail here so that larger time periods can be visualized.

- It would be nice if in community management, comments and messages on the various platforms could be liked. For example, this doesn't work on LinkedIn or Insta-Stories, so you have to log back into the platform.

- Comments on subjects from campaigns are not displayed in community management (Instagram).

- When uploading a video in the publisher that does not meet the specifications, an error message should immediately appear, preventing the post from being scheduled. This way, you can avoid posts not being published. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most about SWAT is that it allows me to collaborate and plan content with my colleagues across the country. Since our team is spread out, SWAT makes it really easy to schedule, reschedule, and duplicate content while keeping an overview of everything. The only thing I don’t love about SWAT is that the analytics sometimes don’t seem 100% accurate. We occasionally cross-check them with Meta to find a middle ground. Other than that, I really enjoy using it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The approach to including different social networks together with different users helps us to manage some hundred channels with 10 suborganisations and many hundred volunteeer and paid-staff users. It works for community management and planned outgoing communication including channel sharing over innerorganisational borders.
