"Bringing Big Data into Small Business"

What do you like best?

Stratus is an Advanced software platform that ties together our multiple physical stores and indoor firing ranges with a top-tier e-commerce solution. From POS transactions to training class & resource scheduling, the front of house utilizes many data points to connect with our customers. Our back office staff utilizes powerful elements to analyze customer behavior and convert results into targeted promotions, emails, and personal contact.

What do you dislike?

While the back office web application scales well on multiple desktops and tablets, I'd like to see a scaled back phone-optimized interface.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

After a sales demo, ask Celerant for reference to see the system "in action" at another retailer in your sector.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Customer Profiles, POS transactions, club memberships, recurring monthly payments, training class registrations/rosters, gift card sales, vendor drop-shipping, electronic Purchase Order submittals/acknowledgements, range resource allocations, Min/Max Automatic POs, employee security/data access, advanced email marketing system, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Online Sales of both in-stock and "at-warehouse" products, automated web image/description download

"Extremely touchy software that often encounters issues."

What do you like best?

I've used this software for a long time so I am comfortable using it, and know how to navigate it and its many issues.

What do you dislike?

This program requires frequent restarts, and very specific orders of action for it to be used successfully. If you make one mistake in one process, you usually have to go back to the beginning and start over. In some shifts, I've spent more time trying to fix mistakes or wait for the program to be up and running correctly. We've had to call for help with this software multiple times per month. It is also complicated to teach this software to a new employee, along with its many issues.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

A quick, somewhat easy user interface to process inventory, orders, and shipping.

"Great software and support"

What do you like best?

The constant innovation has enabled us to stay ahead of the eCommerce curve.

What do you dislike?

There is not much to dislike as our issues and concerns are promptly handled.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Moving to a web-based POS will make updates much more efficient.

"Touchy and glitchy"

What do you like best?

In general, the software is easy to navigate. At bare minimum it serves the functions necessary.

What do you dislike?

The program requires frequent restarting, and calls to their tech service to work through glitches. We have times where the program is down for several hours at least once every few weeks, which puts a hold on our business and puts us behind. The interface is also very outdated in appearance. Also, in a sequence of tasks, if you make one mistake you cannot retrace your steps and fix it, you have to start over. Wastes a lot of time.

We use the program to ship out product, keep track of inventory, and complete transactions.

"Outsated software for ecommerce and retail"

What do you like best?

Celerant is good because it can be easy for older people to understand maybe. It runs on java.

What do you dislike?

Extremely glitchy, slow, ram-consuming, and doesn’t allow one to do many simple things like copy and pasting some thing. Many actions are needlessly complicated.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use it as a cashiering software and as our database for ecommerce. Having the same software for both is good I suppose.

"easy to use POS"

What do you like best?

this system was very easy to learn. with inventory inputted, the touchscreen POS makes sales tracking a simple process

What do you dislike?

the system can run slow when foot traffic gets heavy

for multi location businesses this is a great product

this system makes tracking team sales and productivity simple to understand. we are keeping the team motivated by being able to show real time results

Its hard to delete actual customers . If there are multiple customer it doesn’t recognize it
