"a move away from Spendee"

What do you like best about Spendee?

So far Spendee had been a good companion to help assist with my financial hurdle.

i loved the UI and the UX.

It looks like it just released version 5 and i haven't tested that one yet. Hope to test it out soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Spendee?

I remembered that connecting to my bank was a hassle with spendee. There were many times it could not connect to my bank accounts or failed to sync. IMHO sync is very important to make sure that i can get the overview (bird's eye view) about my financial on a daily basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Spendee:

I forgot if they have free trial or not but if they do, please use the free trial to test the bank syncs before committing to pay for the subscriptions Premium. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Spendee solving and how is that benefiting you?

My problem was that I spent too much on unnecessary items and often they were not trackable. For example, I love to treat lunch/dinner for my friends, and I wanted to be alerted if I overspent my F&B budget. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-use money app"

What do you like best about Spendee?

Spendee allows to manage your expenses and revenues in a super easy way. The best thing is the possibility to categorize the different types of money flow, thanks to several categories.

They recently updated the app with new improved design and new features.

User friendly, complete, all in all a very useful tool to keep track of your ins and outs.

There were some bugs, but with the new 5 version, they are all gone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Spendee?

Recently, the "home page" of the app is not the current month expenses anymore. Now it is displayed the total amount of money in your account only, and to see the single trade-off you have to enter the month's page.

There were some bugs in the previous version of the app, but now many of them are solved. Here are few examples, and some of them are still present:

There is no way to show how much money you have left, only how much you spent. (I would add some icons too, the ones you put are not enough.

it still misses the possibility to transfer money from a transaction list to another, and personally I'd prefer a more accessible way of putting expenses on different transaction lists.

I think I would change the order of the colours in the category creation menu in order to make it similar to the one from the web app: now they look random Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It allows me to keep track of all my expenses, seeing when I'm spending too much or which month was the most profitable.

I love the design of the app(in my opinion one of the best available) and the bank account syncing is a feature that really improved my user experience.

Also, I can see right away how my year is going and how much money I spent each month, each day, each week. I can tell at first sight how my money balance is going: all the graphs, all the info, all the icons, all the lists are super usefull to get a glimpse on your money entrances and your year, week and daily expenses. Really, controlling daily expenses was very difficult for me; sometimes I made unnecessary purchases or simply spent more than I actually earned. With Spendee, I can have control over my debit and credit cards. It provides me with the ease of viewing the transaction history I make daily. I can see what I've spent on and how much I've spent, the total expenditure throughout the month. Before, I couldn't know where my salary was going; now I can control my expenses since I keep my accounts well organized, as it shows me spending graphs and I can even schedule payments and create budgets very easily.
