I like the real-time, collaboration that is available for a wide variety of use cases - the dashboard view of a project plan along with phase tracking for a process is helping for my team when working with external partners with dependencies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a little bit challenging to plan an agile project within the platform. A lot of the provided templates have limitations on the dependency building. Somewhat linear, but that could be due to the complexity of my projects versus a platform issue. Also, the notification of changes within the sheet could use some tweaking. The way we work with our client on the smartsheet, it doesn't allow for custom notifications and so when the client puts in an update, we are either not aware until we open the sheet, or they send a separate email notify us. Having experience in Excel and other database applications, allows me to examine SSheet (spreadsheet) features and become disappointed with the lack of similar capabilities. There are crucial features that I realize is in the back-burner for Ssheet and we do not receive any inclination of when and how likely the feature will be implemented. I can get a check on my projects, it is extremely intuitive and easy to use. Integration with Google Docs makes it easier to manage. Its diversity of templates makes it easy to customize your projects and tasks to be executed.
