Skovik Reviews & Product Details

Having been using Skovik for several years, I feel it's a product that is constantly on the move. I've seen their app (which I use the most) evolve and become so much better.

I use it at least once a week, and it takes seconds to enter necessary information.

The communication they enable between me and our finance team is efficient and clear too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are minor interaction design issues I see that can be fixed, such as always add me as a default participant on all receipts I upload, or more clearly show how to enter a photographed receipt. Currently you have to click the image to enter it, but some users might expect a button. I know this can feel nitty gritty but as a UX designer these are the things I care about. The portal is very easy to use, and it only takes a minute to submit your receipt. Additionally, the portal reads the receipt and inputs all the data into the report, so all you need to do is double-check that everything is correct. There is also a handbook available with each receipt submission in case anything is unclear; you can always refer to it before submitting your receipt.

Skovik is also very good at customizing the portal to suit your individual needs, making it as easy as possible. The customer service is really great too! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Skovik once per month, for all of the receipts where I could not use our company's booking portal, e.g. all train trips, public transport, expenses for the home-office supplies, shipping, etc. Everything works just as you think it should work, you don't have to "learn" the app. Upload is uncomplicated, you can use your phone to take pictures of the receipts. You can tag the receipts with certain projects or trips, or you can just send them monthly collected.

Amazing user interface and ease of use over mobile. Makes expense reporting incredibility easy. Also have the ability to append invoices over different mediums, i.e. not only directly via app but also via e-mail (which is nice to have). OCR-software works almost perfect. OCR-software sometimes have challenges to calculate individual VAT-rates within the same invoice (i.e. restaurant). Adjustments must be done manually. This is a challanging problem (which I guess every software has) - but also one which would make Skovik going from great to excellent.

Also would be great to have the ability to take several photos, i.e. physical pages of the same invoice within a single expense (i.e. sometimes not all pages are visible within one camera view). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been using the service for quite a while and have always found it very helpful to use Skovik, even though it is much smoother and more functional today than it was about 9-10 years ago, I'm a bit unsure when I started with you. The simplicity of photographing the receipt directly and dropping it directly from the desktop is spot on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There should be, on the other side, that is the approval side, a strict deadline for how long it can take without approving or requesting additions or similar actions. This results in having to wait an unlimited time and having to nag the approvers until both approvals are done, which is unreasonable when, as in my case and many others, private amounts are at stake. I like the best of Skovik is it simplies a lot of the expenses process. By taking a picture of the receipt, it scans and automates a lot of form filling process. I dont need to teach my reports on how to claim expenses since moving to Skovik. It saves me time and hassel in dealing with our finance department. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I occationally go on business trip. There is a suggested FX rate however I have no clarity when is that FX rate. I may end up not claiming the full amount I paid in GBP due to unfavourable exchange rate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Since my company started using Skovik it made it so much easier to account for worktrips, milage tracking and expenses paid with my company card. It´s very userfriendly, has all of the features you need and it´s really simple to navigate within the program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
