"Comprehensive talent management tool"
What do you like best about SkillPanel?

The solution is very detailed and allows for measuring and reporting on multiple skill and talent categories for the talent team. This is incredibly helpful for both assessing internal skill sets, evaluation of skills required for roles and identification of talent for bench strength or pivoting roles required for moving the business in a different direction. In particular the consulting industry and financial industry could benefit from such a tool Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SkillPanel?

There are quite a lot of elements available and while that helps with analysis, we don't currently track such details in our hris and it will obviously be a time consuming endeavor to do so. It would be helpful if the tool is able to pull this information off job descriptions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Innovative Talent Management Platform with Excellent UXUI"
What do you like best about SkillPanel?

The product itself is innovative, placing data at the center of talent management operations. I believe that talent intelligence will become essential for any company that relies heavily on a structured HR blueprint.

The UX/UI aligns with the standards of a modern, data-driven platform, and I particularly appreciated the Skill Map Manager. Being able to view all the skills within a company with just one click is truly a dream come true.

Overall, the platform can strongly support workforce organization by providing clear visibility into both internal and external skills required for effective talent management and recruitment operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SkillPanel?

For me, the platform definitely addresses an important market need, and with some further development, it could cover an even broader part of the HR spectrum. Strengthening the connections between features where HR teams often face challenges—such as learning, performance reviews, talent management, and even engagement! This could make the overall ecosystem even more powerful. At the moment, these components are heading in the right direction but are not yet fully aligned. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Skill Management with Intuitive Insights and Motivation"
What do you like best about SkillPanel?

The tool is exceptionally well organized, making it both intuitive and easy to navigate. It provides clear visibility into the skillsets required for current and future job positions. The HR team can effectively track employees' personal goals related to skill development and encourage them to pursue further growth. SkillPanel offers a comprehensive overview of the company's existing skillsets and highlights potential gaps. It allows for quick analysis of employees' current skills and helps identify areas where additional training or recruitment may be necessary. Overall, it supports workforce management processes by analyzing the types of professionals needed within the organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SkillPanel?

"Insightful Analytics That Streamline HR Decision-Making"
What do you like best about SkillPanel?

The most valuable features of SkillPanel are the Insight Dashboard and the Analytics Report. I found these tools particularly useful for quickly gaining insights. The platform allows me to view data from multiple perspectives and across different timeframes, making it easy to filter information for various needs and audiences. It saves HR analysts significant time by automatically collecting and preparing large volumes of data for organisations with a matrix structure. This also improves data accuracy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SkillPanel?

I don't have dislikes about SkillPanel. The platform offers a wealth of data insights that are valuable for talent management and future skills development planning. If I had to be particular, I would appreciate seeing more resources available in the Learning Hub to support learning and development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Senior Talent Development Manager

"Senior Talent Development Manager"
What do you like best about SkillPanel?

DevSkiller is actually a tool that could make HR professionals' lives way easier. This is the platform where you can easily cluster the skills required for each career path and for each level within these career paths. For instance, when we take on an Account Executive position, we can cluster all skills that fall under Sales Negotiations, such as negotiation and closing, as well as business negotiations.

TalentBoost by DevSkiller makes the Training Needs Assessments more sufficient and somehow more intuitive for the people managers. The library of skills that they cover is broad enough, probably more sufficient for SaaS, Tech Dev companies than retail in comparison, but the assumption is that they will keep enriching the database themselves to keep making HR professionals' lives easier in this process.

They have Coursera courses integrated, which is really handy since Coursera covers a large majority of topics. And you can directly navigate your employee towards the courses they need. There is also a section for paid training and an approval is needed, which means that you can keep all training requests in one place without overcomplicating the process.

The team put a lot of emphasis on the analytics, which helps teams make more informed decisions, predict better where their workforce is going, and plan ahead properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SkillPanel?

The User Interface could be improved a bit it terms of colors (some very colorful parts could be distracting, especially when it comes to the skill areas). Overall, the usability of the design is easy to work with, but could be worked on.

It would be amazing if they work on getting multiple integrations with various HRIS and talent management systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A powerful, skills-centric platform with real potential"
What do you like best about SkillPanel?

DevSkiller makes it much easier to centralize employee skills and identify gaps for future workforce planning. Instead of juggling multiple spreadsheets or systems, everything is in one place, which really supports HR efficiency.

The skills map is very well structured, with clusters that give a clear overview of capabilities across the organization. It really helps HR have an overall view instead of scattered spreadsheets.

The platform enables multi-angle evaluation (HR, manager, expert, system), which makes decisions around career development more objective and data-driven. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SkillPanel?

The setup takes time because there’s a lot of information to input, and the UI could be more intuitive. Right now, it seems like more focused on L&D so I’d love to see a more complete employee picture (tenure, promotions, peer feedback, salary data) to support broader HR decisions.

It would also help if the proficiency scales were more detailed, with behavioral examples for each level. This would make skill assessments easier and more consistent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly valuable for talent decision making and having a clear development paths"
What do you like best about SkillPanel?

The platform Is highly valuable due its objective evaluative elements, which can significantly benefit the company, HR teams, and managers. 1. Competency assessments are a great wat to validate knowledge, 2. feedback form peers and managers is specially useful for technical roles, with ofter requiere strong collaboration with internal clientes. 3. Personalized reports offer managers flexibility to explore and interpret data. 4. Clear career path options 5. Transparent insights and KPIs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SkillPanel?

I would like to see soft skills more integrated. These competencies directly influence how technical skills are applied in real world scenarios. Also, the order of the elements could be more clear (as the HR cycle), visually could be make it easier to understand, however, I think its a valuable resource. "Transparent Skill Tracking and Streamlined HR, But Customization Could Improve"
What do you like best about SkillPanel?

What I find most valuable about SkillPanel is how it provides organizations with a transparent, real-time overview of workforce skills. This visibility makes it much simpler to spot skill gaps, assign people to suitable roles, and prepare for future requirements. Some of the main advantages are quicker hiring thanks to improved candidate screening, more informed learning and development choices, and a tighter connection between talent and business objectives. Additionally, SkillPanel streamlines HR processes by integrating with current systems and supplying user-friendly dashboards to monitor progress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SkillPanel?

One of the less helpful aspects of SkillPanel is its limited customization options for organizations with unique workflows or specialized roles. Although the platform provides robust skill tracking and valuable insights, some users might find it lacking in flexibility when attempting to adapt assessments or dashboards to highly specific requirements. Furthermore, if integration with existing HR systems is not smooth, this could hinder adoption or add unnecessary work for teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"SkillPanel: Great Interface, Even Greater Potential"
What do you like best about SkillPanel?

I really like SkillPanel’s look and feel. The interface is colorful, clean, and easy to navigate. The ability to cluster and visualize skillsets is especially helpful, and the view showing how skills have been gained through hiring and learning or lost through attrition is a great feature. It gives HR teams a clear picture of their workforce’s strengths and gaps, something most systems don’t capture well.

I can see this being very useful for staffing agencies or larger organizations that want to match internal talent to special projects or hard-to-fill roles. It also has strong potential to support succession planning and help preserve institutional knowledge, which is something many HR teams still struggle with. Overall, it is a sleek and insightful tool that helps HR move from reactive hiring to proactive talent management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SkillPanel?

The only thing I’d like to see improved is how it connects with existing HR systems. It would be great if it integrated directly with major HRIS platforms so headcount changes automatically sync, instead of having to add or remove employees in two places. Data entry can take time, especially when inputting multiple certificates or skills for each employee, so anything that reduces duplicate work would make the platform even stronger. Having compensation data included would also add valuable context when reviewing workforce skills and planning development or succession. It’s a newer product, and I’m really excited to see how it continues to grow and what features come next. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A truly user-friendly, data-driven platform that makes skills visible and growth engaging."
What do you like best about SkillPanel?

What I like best about SkillPanel is how comprehensive, yet easy to use it is. Everything HR, managers, and employees need to understand and grow their skills is brought together in one smart, engaging platform.

The SkillMaps are a true standout, from individual to company-wide views, they give instant insight into strengths, gaps, and future needs. Combined with data-driven analytics and predictive workforce planning, they help turn skills information into real business intelligence.

I also love the gamification features, badges, points, and progress tracking, which make development fun and motivating for everyone. Employees enjoy seeing their growth recognized, while managers can easily track progress through the Manager Dashboard.

The Employee Profiles are another strong point, providing a clear, structured summary of each person’s skills, certifications, and learning achievements. This transparency builds trust and helps managers make fair, informed decisions about hiring, mobility, and succession planning.

In short, SkillPanel brings together skills mapping, data analytics, gamification, and predictive insights in one powerful, user-friendly tool, making workforce management not only more efficient but also more human and inspiring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SkillPanel?

There’s actually very little to dislike about SkillPanel, but like any strong platform, there’s still room to grow. At times, I wish the notification system was a bit more dynamic, for example, sending friendly reminders when skills need updating, or celebrating milestones and certifications automatically.

It would also be great to see even more social interaction within the gamification features, such as team challenges, peer recognition, or shared achievements, to make learning and development feel more collaborative.

Lastly, while the dashboards and analytics are already very solid, adding more customizable reporting options and a few deeper AI insights on skill trends or future role readiness would make the experience even more powerful for HR and managers.

Overall, these are minor wishes rather than complaints. SkillPanel already provides exceptional value, and with a few small enhancements in engagement and personalization, it could easily become the most complete and human-centered workforce management platform on the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
