Practical platform for employees development, upskilling and succession planning

As and HR Consultant I was going through the SkillPanel platform and I found very useful for companies to use it, especially for making workforce skills and capabilities more visible. The platform is also user friendly, which is important because HR teams, managers and employees need to understand and use this kind of tool without too much complexity. This makes very convenient for HR consultants to recommend it and implement it in a new company. The skills map is very practical because it show what knowledge and capabilities employees currently have, where there may be gaps, and where development opportunities exist. I also found the manager view valuable. It gives managers a clearer overview of the skills and potential within their teams, and this is very valuable for better conversations around development, career growth, succession planning and promotions. It is especially useful in organizations where skills are not clearly structured, and decisions are often made without enough visibility into existing capabilities.
