## Simulink Desktop Real-Time Reviews
  ### 1. Real time environment to test complex control systems

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Avijeet Kumar S. | Head-AI, Farming, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Simulink Desktop Real-Time?**

The beauty of simulink desktop lies in the block libraries as it has successfully created an ecosystem of control and simulation algorithms. These blocks saves lot of time for prototyping as well as testing out existing design patterns.

**What do you dislike about Simulink Desktop Real-Time?**

License is a must along with an high performance computer.chances of having both with early stage developers is very thin hence it creates a steep learning curve.I think around 10% of users opt for the paid versions after their initial training at college/workplace which can be improved by providing open licenses for a little longer duration ie a year.

**What problems is Simulink Desktop Real-Time solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The control systems and electronics modelling is highly scientific and conversion of generic and repetitive works to block and mainly rf sensitive blocks like kalmann filters saves a lot of time to develop the simulation. It also helps in understanding the overall data flow in the system and helps manage the flow easily.
