It’s incredibly valuable for US teams because it integrates Avalara's tax calculations and shipping solutions directly, removing the need for third-party hacks or custom API work for US payment methods. This feature eliminates the nightmare of US state-by-state tax compliance, automating sales tax calculations in real-time across all states, along with auto-updates for legislative changes. The integration with payment gateways like Stripe and PayPal also improves the payment process significantly. Additionally, the drag-and-drop store builder and pre-built US e-commerce templates are designed for mobile-first, which is perfect for adapting to US shopper behavior. I find it challenging that there is no native tracking for US e-commerce core KPIs like cart abandonment by step, customer lifetime value segmented by US state or channel, repeat purchase rate by product category, or B2B vs. DTC revenue breakdowns.
