"Easy, Reliable Remote Support with ScreenConnect Backstage"
5/5
What do you like best about ScreenConnect?

ScreenConnect is easy to use, reliable and quick to connect to customer machines. The Backstage feature is probably the biggest benefit for us, as it allows us to troubleshoot, run commands and make changes in the background without constantly interrupting the end user. Overall, it makes remote support much faster and easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScreenConnect?

There isn’t much I dislike about ScreenConnect overall, but occasionally remote sessions can be a bit temperamental, particularly around UAC prompts, elevation or reconnecting after certain changes. The interface could also be slightly more modern in places, but these are fairly minor issues compared with how useful and reliable the product is day to day. "ScreenConnect: Lightning-Fast Remote Support with Powerful Admin Tools"
5/5
What do you like best about ScreenConnect?

ScreenConnect is an excellent choice if professional technical support is a priority, especially if you manage multiple teams and require automation, unattended access, and advanced tools for rapid problem resolution.

Key benefits at a glance:

-Very fast remote access: Connections are typically established within seconds, allowing you to manage Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile devices from a single platform.

-Unattended access: You can manage servers and workstations without requiring user presence. This facilitates maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting outside of business hours.

-Administrator tools: ScreenConnect includes features such as Backstage (working in the background without interrupting the user), remote command line, PowerShell, file transfer, Wake-on-LAN, and session recording.

-High customizability: You can brand the portal, create extensions, and integrate it with other support and automation tools. ScreenConnect also offers over 100 integrations and a marketplace for extensions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScreenConnect?

Well, ScreenConnect is a very powerful tool. However, it has some aspects that frequently draw criticism from IT administrators and support technicians:

-Learning curve: Although it offers a wide range of features, the user interface and initial setup are less intuitive than with AnyDesk or TeamViewer. Some time is required to fully utilize all its functions.

-Complex administration: When deployed in large environments, managing permissions, groups, extensions, and policies can become complex without careful planning.

-Technically oriented user interface: ScreenConnect is designed for IT professionals and may therefore be less user-friendly for casual users than other, more consumer-oriented solutions.

-Variable performance: On low-quality connections or graphics-intensive devices, some users report less smooth performance compared to alternatives that specialize in high-performance remote access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ScreenConnect: Lightning-Fast, Secure Remote Support with Powerful Control"
5/5
What do you like best about ScreenConnect?

Connection and Speed

ScreenConnect simply works. People regularly comment on how incredibly fast it connects, and sessions stay smooth and stable without noticeable lag. It’s honestly one of the fastest remote support tools I’ve used, and that speed makes a real difference when you’re trying to help someone quickly.

Getting Started Is Simple

You don’t have to spend hours setting it up. Deployment is straightforward, and you can be connected and assisting clients within minutes. It’s a refreshing change from tools that feel overly complicated.

You Actually Have Control

What stands out most is the level of control you have during sessions. You can set clear, specific permissions for who can access what—and when—which adds a lot of peace of mind from a security perspective.

Background Access That Actually Works

The Backstage feature is a genuine game-changer. It lets you maintain background access to endpoints and servers even when no one is logged in, which is especially useful for ongoing management and monitoring.

Sharing and Transferring Is Effortless

Screen sharing with clients feels natural, and file transfers between devices are quick and seamless. It’s the small details like this that make day-to-day support easier.

You’re Actually Protected

Security feels strong, with AES-256 encryption and built-in two-factor authentication. It’s reassuring to know sessions are well protected.

Support Is There When You Need It

When you need help, it’s easy to get it. The 24/7 live chat support is responsive, and the team genuinely seems to know what they’re talking about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Price Just Keeps Going Up

This is my biggest frustration. flamingo.run, and it’s not a one-time thing. flamingo.run. sobrii.io, which really stings when you’re locked into an annual contract.

The Interface Takes Getting Used To

When you first open it, the interface feels packed with options. flamingo.run. You’re not going to be up and running as quickly as with some simpler tools, but if you stick with it, the power is there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Reliable Remote Support for Everyday IT Needs"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ScreenConnect?

What I like best about ScreenConnect is how fast and reliable it makes remote support. Connecting to endpoints is straightforward, sessions are responsive, and the interface makes it easy to manage multiple devices without wasting time. Features like unattended access, file transfer, and session management help streamline day-to-day troubleshooting and allow our team to resolve issues quickly without requiring users to be physically present. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScreenConnect?

One downside of ScreenConnect is that the interface can feel a little overwhelming at first, especially when configuring more advanced settings and permissions. Some administrative options could be organized more intuitively, and occasional connection or update issues can interrupt an otherwise smooth workflow. Improving the setup experience and simplifying configuration would make the product even easier to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible, Reliable Remote Support That Keeps Sessions Fast and Organized"
5/5
What do you like best about ScreenConnect?

What I like best about ScreenConnect is the flexibility and control it gives me during remote sessions. I can connect to devices quickly, work without noticeable delays, and handle different support tasks without switching between multiple tools. Features like session organization, quick reconnects, file sharing, and remote device control make everyday work much easier. I especially appreciate that it remains reliable even when I have several devices to manage, which makes the whole support process feel organized and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScreenConnect?

There honestly isn’t much I dislike about ScreenConnect. If I had to choose something, I would say that some features and customization options can take a little time to discover when you first start using the platform. However, once you learn where everything is, the experience becomes very straightforward. Overall, this is a small learning curve rather than a real drawback, and it hasn’t affected my very positive experience with the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Remote Management with Intuitive Setup"
4/5
What do you like best about ScreenConnect?

I find ScreenConnect very easy to use and straightforward to set up, both on my end and for the users receiving support. It's a very fluid piece of software, making it simple for non-technical customers to receive support quickly and easily. When setting it up, I only need to send a link via email, and the process from there is very straightforward, which is a big plus for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScreenConnect?

It works pretty well most of the time, but I think it could use more Wacom LAM features. It seems like some additional features would enhance its functionality for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure, Seamless Unattended Access with ScreenConnect and NinjaOne Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about ScreenConnect?

We use ScreenConnect mostly for unattended access to help our users and their endpoints.

It offers excellent security and we have integrated into NinjaOne so it is easy for our technicians to find the machine that they need to log into.

We can also provide temporary remote access to vendor support without worrying about unnecessary security issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScreenConnect?

I have used this product for at least 15 years and I cannot think of anything I do not like about it other than the price has increased over the years but that is consistent with all applications and it remains the best value in the area I have found. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Lightweight, Cross-Platform Remote Support"
5/5
What do you like best about ScreenConnect?

ScreenConnect is very lightweight, has good support, and works on both Mac and PC. Pricing is reasonable compared to almost every other option for remote control and support. The bandwidth required to manage a remote machine appears to be minimal as to not impede control performance. Best of all it has multiple deployment options for different scenarios. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScreenConnect?

It requires Admin rights to install, I realize this is a good security but it can pose a challenge when reinstallation is required.

Also Mac makes it repeatedly difficult to keep the client active, it seems every so often a Mac System update requires us to re-allow the software which is locked on our users Macs behind admin credentials. This requires us to get connected with ARD to resolve it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Perfect for Solve issues remotely when working hybrid"
5/5
What do you like best about ScreenConnect?

The easy way to use it when fixing issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScreenConnect?

The interface feels a bit outdated, which doesn’t create the best first impression or immediate connection for the user. If you work in IT like I do, it’s still fine to use, but it’s definitely an area that could be improved, and I’d like to see more focus on updating it. Another point is that MFA is disabled by default, so you may need to force-enable it. In my opinion, it should be enabled from the very beginning. Also, the reporting options are limit Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
