# What are the best QR code generators with strong tracking accuracy and security features to consider before committing to a solution?

Hi G2 community, I’m researching the best QR code generators for teams that care about tracking accuracy and security before committing to a platform. The tricky part is that reviews talk a lot about analytics and dynamic codes, but far less often about security controls, so I wanted to separate what users actually validate from what vendors simply advertise.

From the G2 Grid report for QR Code Generator and the review data, these stood out most:

Uniqode QR Code Generator: Reviewers repeatedly mention campaign-level tracking, scan locations, live reporting, and editable dynamic codes.

QR TIGER: Users highlight click tracking, dynamic QR codes, and reliable scanning, although some want deeper analytics.

Bitly: Reviewers use UTM and QR engagement tracking to measure campaign performance and ROI.

The QR Code Generator (TQRCG): Users mention a simple dashboard for creating and tracking QR codes across marketing campaigns.

One thing I’d flag before buying: the review evidence is much stronger for tracking than for security. Uniqode’s G2 profile lists enterprise controls such as SSO, MFA, SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR compliance, and phishing detection, but those features don’t come up nearly as often in the review set.

For teams already using these, how accurate have scan and campaign reports been compared with your other analytics tools? And when evaluating security, which controls actually mattered enough to influence your choice?

From what I've seen, scan counts tend to line up reasonably well with other analytics tools, but location and device-level detail can drift a bit depending on how the QR platform handles redirects versus how your other tool attributes the same traffic. On security, SSO and MFA seem to be the two that actually swing a decision, mostly because they're the ones an IT or security reviewer will ask about directly during procurement, while something like SOC 2 tends to matter more as a checkbox for larger organizations than as something evaluators dig into feature by feature.
