In my experience, the best thing about Sangfor HCI is that it brings everything together in one place. With other solutions, you have to piece together components from different vendors, which can sometimes lead to compatibility issues or debates over “who’s responsible.” Here, compute, storage, networking, security, and backup all come bundled together, so I have much greater peace of mind.

Not having to set up anything extra on the security side was a huge advantage for me. Since features like micro-segmentation and ransomware protection come pre-built, I didn’t have to spend time researching and integrating additional products.

The management dashboard is also really user-friendly. Being able to manage all virtual machines, storage, and the network from a single panel saves a significant amount of time in daily operations. Being able to handle tasks without requiring deep expertise is another plus.

I like the ease of installation and management even of complex environments. I appreciate the HCI platform that includes virtualization, software-defined network, and virtual SAN, stretched cluster, and much more. I also use Sangfor Cloud Platform to manage cybersecurity, such as NSF firewalls. I like the support channel. When issues arise, I can get them resolved via email, and I appreciate the more detailed support available through remote sessions. Even when operators are not familiar with HCI, it is a great help in solving various operational issues such as VM backup, storage management, policy settings, and firmware updates. In fact, when I recently conducted updates for aDesk's VDC and VMP, it would have been impossible to do it alone, but thanks to the support, I was able to succeed. It would be nice if language support could be tailored to the local area. Since the guide documents and all directions are focused on English, it may be a basic matter from a global perspective, but from my perspective as a Korean, it can be somewhat difficult at times.
