What do you like best about Rival Technologies?

From a consumer perspective the platform is very intuitive and truly helps us meet our users where they are. I love how modern the look and experience is. What do you dislike about Rival Technologies?

Sometimes the survey building UI/UX can be a little clunky. I've had a few times where I made changes and it immediately reverts to what was there before. What do you like best about Rival Technologies?

The best thing about Rival is their team and how much they really want to help and support my business. I've heard many times before that a supplier would be an "extension of my team", but Rival really makes it happen. It's just at a different level.

What do you like best about Rival Technologies?

Over the years, I’ve worked across various industries in Consumer Insights and Research functions, collaborating with many community research vendors. I can fully attest that Rival Technologies stands out as a well-rounded platform with an exceptional service team. While we're still fairly new to the platform & services, we've already been able to act on many findings from our Rival community.

What we love:

Quick and seamless implementation - No one enjoys implementing a new vendor, especially when the implementation has recruitment involved. Rival really led this song and dance, making the implementation effortless on our end.

High-quality insights driven by a conversational approach - We've found their conversational approach to really help open up consumers. This really enables them to give authentic insights that helps us make clearer, strategic decisions.

An outstanding service team that’s always available to answer our many questions - I'd be remise without calling out this group. They're always open to problem solving together, on top of any requests and questions we have and are quickly learning our business/styles of requests & understanding the types of insights we're looking for.

Continuous innovation, with both the tool and team constantly improving - We went with Rival because we wanted a team and software that wasn't stagnant. In the 6 months we've been using the software, we've been many improvements. Their AI capabilities, reports Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rival Technologies?

Areas for improvement:

The reporting software can be clunky; as your survey findings sometimes have to be pulled from multiple areas (ex: AI generated findings don't show up in your Topline report). This isn't a big deal but just makes the download process a little more cumbersome.

We're big on segmenting and cutting data by multiple categories. We're able to easily cut findings for the typical survey questions forms (open ends, multi or single choice, even videos) across categories but we've found issues with how the software collects images, as it's challenging to identify (easily) the various tags we've attached to respondents. However the Rival team has really leaned in to help us navigate this.

While the Topline reports and Other reports always look very polished and are highly customizable, the PowerPoint download often requires adjustments. Again, not a big issue but it just makes that "final polish" time a bit longer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can't think of one thing I dislike about my relationship with Rival or the services that we use. In early the years we worked with them, I longed for deeper analytic capabilities. When I shared those desires with Rival, they listened. Now Rival's platform has those capabilities. I am completely satisfied with Rival's services and the relationship we have with them. What do you like best about Rival Technologies?

the costumer representatives have been really helpfu gudiding us through the platform, I really liked the help, and about the platform I love the different features, the redirect link, and the use of gifs is great for engaging participants, I use these features for every survey and they have shown great results, being also really easy to use and set up, which I also love cause it saves me time. There are MANY things I appreciate about Rival Technologies! Foremost of those would be the incredible team I have the opportunity to work with. I find my dedicated team is incredibly beneficial in ensuring the research we want to field to our community is conducting in an efficient and effective way. There are very very few downsides to Rival. One downside would be the capabilities of the platform. I know the platform is ever evolving, but I do find sometimes that reporting off of the platform is a bit difficult and would be nice if there was the ability to export a report directly from the platform. The Rival platform has been a great tool for building an insights community and conducting research. The interface is personal and intuitive, which is very versatile across industries. The customer success team that I work with has been the best I've seen. The Rival team is professional, supportive and has strong expertise that is used to continually improve the platform with updates based on Rival users' feedback.
