I was intrigued to check out RightMatch AI because I was looking for ways to (somehow) incorporate AI technology into our HR practices. The promise of bringing efficiency to our talent acquistion process got my attention, but when I saw the live demo, I was immediately impressed with multiple benefits beyond the AI embedded capabilties.
Things I love the most about the AI aspects:
1. It can almost immediately analyze multiple resumes against my unique role desciption (not necessarily unique to other TA tools).
2. The interview plan it generates, using my role description and my open ended inputs around ideal candidate profile attributes, is simply incredible. I think I am REALLY good at crafting interview questions to quickly assess candidates, but the questions this tool generates are another level. And if I don't like the questions it offers up, I can simply ask it to try again, OR I can make a few tweaks and then it learns what I'm looking for and produces even better questions.
3. AFTER the candidate interview, it creates a composite summary of the candidate versus the desired candidate profile. This alone is what many pay big $$ to receive from a recruiter.
4. It provides a "trust score" based on the candidates answers and actions in the interview. Obviously we would never rely on this score alone to make a decision, but it's a really interesting component of the overall candidate assessment that I've never seen from any other TA tool.
5. The initial AI cut at candidate assessment removes the tendency for natural bias. This is huge as I try to remove unconscious bias from our process.
Things I love most that aren't necessarily tied to the AI capability:
1. Asynchronous interview packet which includes audio, video (if desired), written, AND skills exercise provides an incredible amount of context, even more than a live interview can provide.
2. The biggest efficiency that I've experienced? With the asynchronous interview capability, I can assess far MORE candidates in a FRACTION of the time it takes to complete phone/zoom screens. There are a few tools available on the market that provide this capability, but NONE do it in such a user friendly way, and NONE combine it with all of the other AI insipired aspects. This downside isn't uniquely tied to RightMatch, it's a watchout for ANY AI driven talent acquisition tools - the fear of losing the "human touch" in the candidate experience and assessment process. The reality is, we are all going there - RightMatch just does it in a way that feels like it bridges the gap vs. requires a leap across. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
