"Above-and-Beyond Support: Custom BigCommerce Fixes That Got Reviews Live"
5/5
What do you like best about Reviews.io?

Kyle, our customer success manager, spent 90 minutes on a call with our marketing lead troubleshooting the star rating widget. The first install put the wrong counts on category pages: 435 reviews on the American flag product page, 2 on the category page. Leila took that back to the dev team and they returned custom code that pulls every variant SKU through the BigCommerce GraphQL API, so the counts now match our dashboard. They also wrote the CSS that fixed our text wrapping on mobile.

They edited base.html, card.html, and product-view.html for our specific theme, tested against our live site, and kept going until it was right. Leila stayed on the thread the whole time and chased her own team when we followed up.

We are six people with no developer on staff. That kind of help is why this shipped instead of sitting in a backlog. Reviews are live on our product and category pages now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Reviews.io?

I can't really think of anything right now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Extremely disappointing moderation process for retailers"
0.5/5
What do you like best about Reviews.io?

The website looks good overall. The backend is easy to navigate, and collecting reviews is straightforward and simple. Integrating Reviews.io was a simple process coming from our old reviews platform. Our issue is with the Reviews.io support team. They side with customers far more often than not when it comes to moderation of negative reviews even when evidence is provided by us, the retailer. We rely on them to help us and they have fallen short in this department. This is why we are switching. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Reviews.io?

We fully expect negative reviews from time to time. That's part of running a business, and legitimate criticism should absolutely remain published. What we don't accept is the idea that a customer should be able to publish objectively false information about a business and that the platform we're paying to manage our reviews won't meaningfully intervene.

This creates an incredibly one-sided system. A customer can make damaging claims publicly, while the retailer is left to defend itself underneath the review—even when the retailer can provide documentation showing those claims aren't true. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Customer Service and Seamless Google Reviews Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Reviews.io?

The customer service is excellent. Reviews.io is the only platform we use for handling customer reviews in our online store. They seamlessly integrate 3rd party reviews from our customers on Google. The reviews they collect for us also tribute to our Google seller rating and whenever there is any kind of hiccup the customer service is fixing it in a short amount of time. I think this is really not a low-cost product, but with the implementations and compared to other services of this kind it's still worth the money Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Reviews.io?

When we have problems with 3rd party reviews on Google and they are e.g. removed because they don't match the review guidelines, we always have to contact the customer service, because they don't re-sync automatically Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent support and fast results"
5/5
What do you like best about Reviews.io?

The support team. During our trial Mia, Hannah, Leila and Maddox answered every question quickly, often within the hour, and fixed problems for us rather than just pointing us to help articles. Within a week we went from almost no website reviews to over 60 verified product reviews and more than 85 company reviews. The review request emails are easy to edit, collecting product and company reviews in one form works well, and the website widgets dropped straight into our WooCommerce and Divi product pages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Reviews.io?

Importing reviews from other marketplaces took a bit of back and forth. Our first Etsy import showed every review under the same name, and the Amazon import took about a day to appear. Support sorted both. Some features we would like, such as grouping product variants, are only on higher plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fair Pricing, Easy Integration, and Reliable Reviews Management"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Reviews.io?

Fair pricing. Dashboard easy to use; you can search for reviews in multiple ways and respond privately and publicly. There are options to include photos and videos in reviews.. Initial integration easy enough, even with a custom website.

We've had no issues with product reliability / bugs.

AI support is OK as a first level, and you can get it escalated to "proper" support easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Reviews.io?

We found that some (not all) of the widgets were not as easy to work with as they could be, because they clashed clashed with other layout in the parent website; this is not a major detraction though, and overall we are very happy with the reviews.io offering. Other than that, no problems! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Love Reviews.io!"
5/5
What do you like best about Reviews.io?

We really love the ease of use and flexibility of reviews.io, as well as the much more reasonable cost. As good as the platform is, their support is even better. They are super-responsive to requests and have worked with us on many occasions to iron our issues and create solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Reviews.io?

Even though they have a bunch of widgets, making them more flexible / user-editable would be nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Moved from Yotpo to Reviews.io"
5/5
What do you like best about Reviews.io?

I like the value that you receive the most and how much support is offered a close second. A $100 plan with Reviews.io has more features than a $700 plan from Yotpo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Reviews.io?

Nothing. Everything has been awesome with Reviews.io Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A very average platform that doesn't give measurable results"
2/5
What do you like best about Reviews.io?

It’s a pretty good desktop version of the site. It also usually ranks in the top 10 SERP results for CA, AU, and DE. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Reviews.io?

This platform generates absolutely no measurable additional traffic, and here’s why: on the mobile version of the site, the “Visit Website” button is hidden behind a submenu. Since 95% of traffic now comes from mobile devices, most people never see that button, so they don’t click through from Reviews IO to the brand’s website.

On top of that, it’s impossible to add a link with a UTM tag or any other tracker to the “Visit Website” button, which makes it even harder to measure or attribute any traffic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quality service with good customer support"
5/5
What do you like best about Reviews.io?

As a business, we’ve had the pleasure of experiencing the full spectrum of human expression right here on this review platform—ranging from thoughtful, honest feedback to the occasional creative work of fiction. Truly, a masterpiece of modern communication!

The portal does its job well, allowing customers to share their experiences and businesses to respond (or, at times, simply marvel at the creativity) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Reviews.io?

There is nothing I can think of at the moment Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Ruby Branston of Reviews.io

Glad to hear that the platform is doing its job and that REVIEWS.io has helped with unfair reviews.

Thank you for the positive feedback and support!
