It combines tenancy and contact management, a compliance tracker with renewal reminders (gas safety, EICR, EPC), automated rent chasing and arrears tracking, double-entry accounting with Making Tax Digital (MTD ITSA) support (coming soon), and an AI assistant on web and WhatsApp. Tenant referencing is built in and pay-as-you-go with no subscription: send a prospective tenant a free application form (their details come back to you at no cost), then optionally run a credit check (£9) or a full tenant reference (£19) covering identity, AML, credit history, income and affordability, employer and previous-landlord references, Right to Rent (England) and anti-fraud. Most checks complete within 48 hours. RentFig also includes free UK-specific tools: a postcode HMO licence checker (mandatory, additional and selective schemes plus Article 4 directions across 47+ councils), and rental yield, buy-to-let mortgage and stamp duty calculators. RentFig replaced all of it. Tenancies, rent chasing, accounting , and tenant referencing are all in one login. The fact it's built specifically for UK landlords and upto date with the renters right Act. **What do you dislike about RentFig?** There was a small learning curve getting everything set up at the start, but once it was in, it just runs.
