# What are the top-rated online appointment scheduling platforms for owners trying to cut no-shows from client bookings?

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Hi, small business owners and G2 reviewers who run a client calendar every day, this one is for you. I am looking for the top-rated<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/online-appointment-scheduling"> </a><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/online-appointment-scheduling">online appointment scheduling</a> platforms for owners trying to cut no-shows from client bookings, and would value opinions from people who have actually watched their no-show rate move.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">A no-show is rarely just forgetfulness. It is usually some mix of a weak reminder, no easy way to reschedule, and nothing at stake for the client. Three platforms come up most:</p><ul>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/goreminders/reviews"><strong>GoReminders</strong></a> (4.8) is built specifically around automated text and email reminders, with confirmations and recurring appointments. Owners say it replaced manually texting every client the night before. Plans are capped by appointment volume, so it is worth checking the ceiling before a busy season.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/vagaro/reviews"><strong>Vagaro</strong></a> (4.6) sends reminders at three points: when the booking is made, a day ahead, and an hour before, with intake forms clients complete on their phone. It is built around beauty, wellness and fitness businesses, and several extras such as forms sit outside the base plan.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/acuity-scheduling/reviews"><strong>Acuity Scheduling</strong></a> (4.6) lets clients book, reschedule, cancel and pay on their own, so someone who cannot make it moves the slot rather than dropping it. It is part of Squarespace, and texting and payments sit on the higher tiers.</li>
</ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Which of these actually moved your no-show rate, and was it the reminders or the deposit doing the work?</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"></p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"></p>

&lt;p&gt;For me it was the reminders doing most of the work, not any deposit. GoReminders replacing the manual night-before texting alone made the bigger dent in our no-show rate.&lt;/p&gt;
