## Reason Automation Reviews
  ### 1. Best Amazon Data Aggregator Out There

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cam T. | Director of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Reason Automation?**

Reason Automation has made it so easy to collect, organize and present Amazon data in a manner that is so insightful and actionable. We've worked with a number of Amazon 1P and 3P SaaS providers and the API that Reason Auto has with Amazon is best in class. Looking back to pre-Reason Automation, I laugh at how much extra work we were doing to present data to our clients.

Reason Automation has also worked extensively with our agency to create customized data dashboards to meet our individual clients needs. It's not a one size fits all solution, it's molded to fit the needs of the client, which is not always commonplace for Amazon software providers.

Highly recommend RA for your data needs!

**What do you dislike about Reason Automation?**

No complaints, just a huge fan of what they do!

**What problems is Reason Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing and presenting large sets of data. Custom reporting to fit client requests and needs.

  ### 2. Masters of the Amazon API

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stacy V. | Vice President, Global Digital Commerce, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Reason Automation?**

They are former Amazonians who understand Amazon data opportunities and limitations and are able to explain in a clear manner. They are responsive and "get" what we are trying to do and able to run effectively with both loose and very specific instructions. I have a very limited IT team with zero Amazon & very little API experience who absolulely could not figure out the Amazon SAPI so enter Reason who provided an incredibly perfect OOTB report and was able to custom build different views that are vital to our business. The team is wicked smart and is great to work with - Andrew is an incredible talent. I cannot say enough how easy they have made working with this data and how they have been able to create custom reporting. And cost effective - every single business that works with Amazon should be using this service.

**What do you dislike about Reason Automation?**

There are no downsides whatsoever to using Reason. I'd like to see user management at little easier - add users & enable access,

**What problems is Reason Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Access to data, collection of data and presentation of data. The problem is the complexity and ingestion of Amazon API data and this enables a host of historical reporting both in detail and visual summaries not available in Vendor Central.

  ### 3. One stop solution for Amazon Data

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aabbeir R. | Data Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Reason Automation?**

Reason Automation is extremely easy to use and comes built-in with numerous Amazon reports that are ready to be ingested into your data warehouse. They continue to develop new products that we've found useful.

Moreover, the team at Reason is very helpful and prompt with any requests. Whenever there is an issue, which is not often, they are quick to dedicate resources to find us a solution.

**What do you dislike about Reason Automation?**

There are not particular downsides of using Reason Automation; they do exactly what they advertise.

**What problems is Reason Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reason Automation allows us to ingest various Amazon reports into our internal database, which we then use for data science, analytics and reporting.

  ### 4. A best in class data and automation solutions provider

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heather G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Reason Automation?**

In my role as VP of Client Services at Media.Monks, I had the pleasure of partnering with Andrew, Joe and the rest of the fabulous team at Reason Automation for my organization's client facing data and insights platform for over two years. I have nothing but positive things to say about this company, but I will distill my experience down to three key points that make Reason Automation stand out a best in class solutions provider:
1. Ownership; Being that both Andrew and Joe are veterans of Amazon, they embrace the Ownership mentality to never say "that's not my problem". To be specific, we encountered an issue with an eRetailer API which caused discrepancies in our platform data. Joe and Andrew worked tirelessly going through the ranks of this eRetailer API and central teams to push for a long term fix, while in the meantime working closely with us to bring forward a proactive short-term solution as a stop-gap. The data issue was *not* Reason Automation's and they still found it imperative to help us above and beyond the contractual obligations to fix the problem.
2. Forward-Looking; Having worked with Reason for 2+ years, I was continually impressed at the team's ability to solve for issues we didn't even have on our roadmap, that when rolled out provided a compelling solution for clients. The example here is the Seller Profit Toolkit, which David Ingram at Reason built. This had been a huge pain point for our Seller Central clients, but among a crowded list of feature rollouts not one that we had prioritized. From my experience, it is invaluable in a data partner to have this level of proactivity and forward-looking culture that can only stand to benefit your organization's ability to stay ahead of the competition via insights like this.
3. Partnership-Oriented; This shouldn't be the third item, but this list is not ranked. Reason Automation brings incredible value by truly being a partner for our business. They were never scared to take on blue sky problem statements and go through iterations of feedback, as partners, to arrive at the solution. In addition, they earn trust through their transparency and candor in not just building for the sake of a client request, but helping to refine and clarify the desired output to ensure the correct product is built to actually solve a problem.

**What do you dislike about Reason Automation?**

There is nothing that stands out in particular. In fact the only challenges we had were quickly remedied. With a particularly challenging project with tons of client feedback and requests, we initially struggled to stay organized. However, Andrew rose to the occassion and implemented a sharp development feedback mechanism via utilization of third party software that completely solved this issue and allowed us to be faster and stay on target with dev sprints in order to deliver on time.

**What problems is Reason Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The beauty of Reason Automation is that as a partner to brands, agencies and other data subscribers, they are constantly pushing their own boundaries of the myrid of eReatiler data use-cases they can solve for clients. While I would say they are primarily focused on eRetailer data pipelines and building the solutions for visualizing this data for impactful decision making, they have proven the ability to tackle emerging and left-field use cases as well. One pertinent example is Reason's partnership in building out an AMC visualization tool, which at the time was white space for the both of our organizations given the newness of this data pipeline. The benefit this provides to clients is a solid out-of-the-box solution foundation comprised of the most impactful eRetail metrics and aggregated insights, paired with the ability to partner on customized solutions efficiently and proactively.

  ### 5. Critical Data Infrastructure for Amazon

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan G. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Reason Automation?**

When it comes to Amazon data, you want to buy data infrastructure - not canned reports. Reason Automation is one of the few companies that identified this and offers truly valuable tools without getting in the way.

I've reveiewed many SaaS reporting tools for Amazon data and they never tell me exactly what I want to know. With a few tweaks, they could, but I invariably end up exporting data to work in a spreadsheet or I have to import and maintain data to the SaaS tool to organize things the way I need.

RA strikes the right balance by moving whatever valuable data I need from Amazon into a SQL database. That frees me up to focus on data modeling, visualization, and exploration via Excel or Power BI. I can also mix in my other data sources to segment and augment the data without needing to duplicate efforts.

Lastly, because RA doesn't transform the data, the entire pipeline remains transparent and auditable which helps inspire confidence in the full reporting and analytics stack.

**What do you dislike about Reason Automation?**

This is not off-the-shelf software. You need to have skills in data modeling, transformation, visualization, etc. to fully leverage their system. With the opportunity of building the perfect reporting and analytics comes the responsibility of understanding the data you're working with and developing the skills to use it.

For my organization, that's perfect, but it's not for everyone.

**What problems is Reason Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reason Automation automatically, accurately, and reliably collects data from Amazon Seller Central and puts it in a SQL database. That frees up my time from managing to focus on modeling, analysis, and application tasks.
