When I started to use Ready Suite, I was trained to use only a few aspects. However, it has more and more uses than any other application I have used. Unlike Excel, it can open any load file, which is very important in the e-discovery domain. It can open .dat, .opt, etc., load files amicably. When it comes to quality check of load files after production or third-party production, the Ready Suite is beneficial in decision making. Importing and exporting is fairly easy to learn and work with. There are many field normalization options available, such as Document tally (to check the frequency of occurrence in percentage), Endorsement settings for images, Batch update is one of my favorites (which enables updating, modifying, replacing, appending, searching, and inserting required field values on the fly), formatting of date fields (many formats are available by default as per our output requirement). As it is up to the mark to satisfy the need to support any e-discovery activities, I don't find many disadvantages. Sometimes the loading of load files takes time. Not frequently, but it has freeze issues sometimes or rarely. Creating the Ready Suite setting for any load file for the first time is a little bit confusing. Script execution needs improvement. I would say—overall an excellent product to choose if someone is looking for a good e-discovery supporting tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
