**What do you like best about Omnigo?**

The product: Report Exec is ideal for healthcare security departments, stand alone and enterprise systems.

**What do you dislike about Omnigo?**

As of this review. Nothing. I've had very positive interactions and experience with all levels of the Omnigo team.

**What problems is Omnigo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The abilty to pull data from incident reports and calls for service has been extremely helpful to identify trends that that can impact staff and site safety. In addition, the ease and ability to run multiple types of reports is extremely helpful. The reports are easy for clinical and non-clinical leaders to understand. It also lets them see the level of activity at thier hospital and more specifically, their department.

**What do you like best about Omnigo?**

We utilize the Omnigo Report Exec and Dispatch software.  I really enjoy the ease of adding employees when I need to.  Also, the integration between the two is awesome.

**What do you dislike about Omnigo?**

The software's dispatch part tends to crash periodically without notice, which can cause a loss of information.

**What problems is Omnigo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently they are not solving and issue that I know of.

**What do you like best about Omnigo?**

We have been able to streamline most of the paperwork and reports in our office. Having one centralized place for all of different reports has made it easier to combine records and to ensure we are not losing any data that is important. The dispatch software that comes with it is also an added benefit that allows the dispatcher to keep track of ongoing incidents and saving the officers from having to search for information while in the field.

**What do you dislike about Omnigo?**

There isn't much to dislike. This company is always on their game. When something goes wrong or doesn't work they work very hard to fix the problem. I have never dealt with such wonderful techs and customer support.

**What problems is Omnigo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instead of sifting through piles of reports or records I can put in a search criteria and everything I need pops up. Omnigo has helped us to mainstream our parking permit process and make it more accessible to people on our campus. Any time I have had an issue Omnigo has been quick to respond and even when they don't have an answer right away, they stay in touch and keep me informed of their progress.

**What do you like best about Omnigo?**

I like having a report writing program and Dispatching program all in one program.

**What do you dislike about Omnigo?**

Segregating User rights was a little issue.  We would have liked more flexibility to narrow certain fields like read-only to more specific areas as opposed to all having read-only.

**What problems is Omnigo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We don't really have any big problems and all technical problems were able to be resolved through support.

The software allows us to tailor it to our needs.  The support and continual improvements in the technology keep us on the cutting edge.

Currently, the software does not automatically submit state-based incident reporting, but it is in the works.

I think that the interface is smooth and user-friendly. I love that it is web-based so that you can access it from anywhere. Their support team is accessible and responsive.

what I never really like was the fact that you cannot access the application without access to the internet if there could be an option to use the application in offline mode?

There are many options, tabs, and resources to verify that nothing is forgotten.

**What do you dislike about Omnigo?**

All of the options make it difficult and time consuming to ensure it is filed properly.  

The platform itself is complex, and glitchy and requires too many credentials and verifications.

No real problems have been solved, unfortunately.

Good Program but needs to be more user friendly

This would be a great program if it would allow users to see other municipalities.  It doesnt work well for that.  The last time a few municipalities tried to make it work, it cost a bunch of money that they never refunded fully because it failed miserable.  In most businesses, if it failed, they would give you a full refund, Omnigo said that they spent a lot of time towards it so they kept a large amount.

I like how it keeps our file for al occurrence's and be able to look up information easier.

Downside is that Omnigo is not working with Smart Squad. This is so our information can be transferred when we write a ticket with e ticketing to send a copy to our omnigo account so we did not have to enter the ticket again. I like omnigo but might have to switch to what ever the province dictates for e ticketing

learnig that i can set up dog registration and be able to have notices that people did not register their dog.

This system is very easy to use! Even our most technologically challenged team members were able to learn how to use the system. I love that it allows me to pull reports without having to keep separate spreadsheets in another program.

It was a bit of a process to train all of our users, especially those who aren't the best with technology.

This product truly is a complete package that can fit all of your needs!

Our case reports had to be manually archived, our old software didn't have as many features with attaching digital media and linking reports and supplements together. The Omnigo software has really helped us ensure all reports are complete before being finalized. It has also helped with our compliance with the Jeanne Clery Act.

There are times that when inputting the wrong item, will need to retry several times, but Omnigo is working on that issue.

**What do you like best about Omnigo?**

I like how it is integrated with our student photo system so it migrates directory information over and links previous subjects together.  I also like that it is web based so our contracted security company can write reports in our system from their office as well as our Campus Security Officers can write and search reports written by the contracted company.

**What do you dislike about Omnigo?**

Sometimes being web based, it is slow, or down temporarily.

**Recommendations to others considering Omnigo:**

We were receiving printed reports from our contracted security company.  This deprived us of the ability to search and data mine the information provided.  With Omnigo, we can see which days of the week and what times of day are the busiest for them.  We can further delve into the exact location of the activity to increase patrols on those days, times and locations to prevent incidents rather than manage them. 

**What problems is Omnigo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are tracking student contacts, vandalism, documenting security protocols not being followed, and this allows us to know where to focus our efforts to shore up lapses.

**What do you like best about Omnigo?**

I used the Omnigo report writing software and Dispatch years ago. I work in the security industry and never found a product that rivals theirs. I was happy to reconnect with them in my new job. I was pleasantly surprised when I found that they made huge improvement on an already solid product. What impressed me more is the unparalleled help from their team to set us up, provide us with education, expertise and guidance. Matt answered our calls anytime even on the weekend. He never made us feel like a burden. I will say this statement and there is no exaggeration in it "in my 20 years in the Healthcare security industry, I never saw a better product and definitely no better, more courteous and professional" staff

So far nothing. I like the reports module, the dispatch module and the quality of the data you can generate

This is the best when it comes to communication. I tend to cherish it because  it connects best the community and the enforcement agency in the passing of information regarding the commission of crime at any given spot in the specified location.

So far there's no drawback regarding this software because of its numerous benefits to my service by assisting me in curbing of crime.

I like the customization of the system so I can create a system that works for us and us alone.  This makes the product very versitile and marketable.  I also like the receptiveness of the developers to change and work with us to create something unique for our department.

Before Omnigo, all of our work was done on spread sheets and word documents which is often disorganized and impossible to search for information when needed.  Now that we have Omnigo all of our information is stored in one place and can be searched for and referenced in a number of ways.  Omnigo has definitely saved our organization time and money.

**What do you like best about Omnigo?**

Omnigo allows our agency to review and interpret the data contained with in our officers reports and break it down into reports for our government. This data is also able to be customized in the report system to allow us to modify the data titles to crimes and event types based on our individual communities norms as opposed to being a set of crimes and events that are generic to fit a large number of agencies. Which would best fit a large metropolitan force as opposed to a small agency like our own.

**What do you dislike about Omnigo?**

The major draw back to this system is that the ability to conduct field interviews and data search from mobile devices is very limited, this requires that we use separate phone applications to do license and vehicle registration, or to pull up an  individuals information. We have requested this support, or information on if Omnigo will implement this at a later date.

**Recommendations to others considering Omnigo:**

Make sure this is the right asset that fits your agencies current needs and future growth, migrating this products data base (all your agencies historic reports) to a new system if you decide to change to another product is not that easy. If you need more mobile capabilities this may not support your needs.

**What problems is Omnigo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our primary business problem we have solved with Omnigo has been the creation of a report writing system that allows for standardization, and secure storage as well as the ability to retain the data's change history and access so we can show that the information is not tainted if requested. This has not only solved a problem but it has also been a benefit to be able to show the courts the integrity of the system and data during legal proceedings. 
A major benefit has been the ability to show our government oversight the trends and regions where we have issues in order to acquire the assets needed to proactively act against crime in support of our mission to our people.

**What do you like best about Omnigo?**

The simplicity of the system is one of the features we like.  Officers who have minimal technical skills are able to use the program to complete basic reports and shift activity logs.  The CAD system for dispatch is a great product.  It really gives us a clear picture of the amount and types of requests for service our department receives over the course of a year.  The more we have used it, the better the data we have drawn from the system.  

**What do you dislike about Omnigo?**

There are still a few portions of the program that are labor intense.  The parking and ticketing feature is not as robust as we would like, so we have opted not to use it, and we really do need a new parking and ticketing system.  

**What problems is Omnigo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The documents we are able to produce have the ability to provide a high level of detail that is needed for our stakeholder partners (Student Conduct, Police, Prosecutor, Health Services, Counseling Center, Behavioral Intervention Team, etc.).  It is especially convenient to be able to attach evidence documents to the report for long term storage and access.

**What do you like best about Omnigo?**

The level of customization in the system is extremely useful in accommodating all our different needs. Also, the support team is very responsive, professional and helpful in resolving issues. The aesthetic design of the website is extremely pleasant and current. 

**What do you dislike about Omnigo?**

Validation for parking permit fields isn't available so we have to correct misspellings each semester after permits are applied for. A tighter integration with Banner would be fantastic and greatly improve our experience with the product.

**Recommendations to others considering Omnigo:**

Evaluate the costs of the competitors and you will see that Omnigo provides the best value for the cost.

**What problems is Omnigo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Omnigo for parking permits, citations and incident reports for our dispatchers. Our ability to report on past information and record information for citations is extremely beneficial to the college. The online parking permit feature greatly helps our safety and security office cut down on the time it takes to do permits each semester and the feature is heavily used by our students.

**What do you like best about Omnigo?**

Ease of use and proficient. The product provides necessary data to provide to leadership. The support teams were able to assist in a timely manner and troubleshoot issues  we have. The support team works well with our in house IT teams to resolve updates or patches. 

CAD reports are directly linked to Officer reports. You're able to pull raw data from both systems. 

**What do you dislike about Omnigo?**

seat licenses. But that have been resolved as we moved to unlimited licensing. Seat based license caused a lot users not being able to log in if some forgot to log out for the day as it took up a license.

It has allowed us to track and build reports on incidents. Great case reports on identifying gaps in work flow and gathering appropriate data.

The ease of this software coupled with the abilities, present a very user friendly system that allows users to generate, access and easily publish reports and much more. 

**What do you dislike about Omnigo?**

The only thing I dislike about the software is the different types of entries. For example if one person enters a postal code X1X-1X1 and the next person enters is X1X 1X1 and tries to search, the original will not pop. Thus is makes it difficult to search licence plates. This issue is easily fixed in house by having uniform entries, but could also be fixed by having the system only accept certain formats.

All of my supervisory and management reporting is conducted through Omnigo, this makes month end and year end so much easier for our department.

Omnigo is well structured, modern, and easy to use.  It is easy to search for information. It's also easy to classify incidents according to location and type of incident.

**What do you dislike about Omnigo?**

The system is way too slow.  It takes far too long to load information.  There is no way to approve a report without opening it first.  There needs to be more flexibility. Dispatch and report systems are too slow.  Dispatch will often freeze and shut down for at least a day.  I would like to see a flexible search box.  It should be easier to search for info.

It's web based.  It's a pretty good product but needs to be faster and more flexible.

We have a standardized way of documenting and storing security incidents.  Easy to track and gather stats.

Great Customer Service when you call and programs that are easy to use.

Wish we would be notified of updates and contacted to get our program updated in a timely manner.

Definately try it out, even if you are unsure about going to an internet based system.  It is worth it.

Easy to navigate within the program, easy to train new employees on.  Best benefit has been off site storage of information, so we don't lose all of our information if we have a system error or computer crash.

Absolutely, hands down, the support I receive when I have a concern.  I have never been disappointed by the support staff.  They are very knowledgeable and polite.

Only the portions of the program that I don't use. One day I will remove them and they won't bother me anymore.

Don't hesitate, great product!

It is a useful tracking tool for our annual reports to the Solicitor General. On a number of occasions we have used it for tracking one or more specific events/people. Having a trackable history is wonderful.

**What do you like best about Omnigo?**

The multiple modules have made it easier for my department to conduct our day to day operations.

**What do you dislike about Omnigo?**

I wish there was more options for departments that are not sworn, like ours, which is a Public Safety department.  A more robust Lost and Found module that compiles a list of what is in our inventory and removed when it is picked up. 

**What problems is Omnigo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our dispatch program working hand in hand with the report writing program.  Saves time for officers who need to document incidents.

Suggestions are taken by IT and changes are made based on suggestions or issues. 

**What do you dislike about Omnigo?**

Since the merge with Omnigo customer service is a bit harder to get a hold of but still very responsive to any problems. Some minor limitations from the police or law enforcement perspective that would be nice to have ability to make changes on the backend for a better user options. 

**Recommendations to others considering Omnigo:**

Still waiting for the implementation of NIBRS for Texas Law Enforcement, by the deadline. Was promised something would be done by end of last year and have not seen or heard of anything. 

**What problems is Omnigo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Documenting police reports and incidents. Other benefits are the reports that can be pulled and used for data analyzing.

**What do you like best about Omnigo?**

 Omnigo understands the needs at universities and colleges. I also like that they are suitable for non-sworn departments.

**What do you dislike about Omnigo?**

 The scheduling section is not as intuitive as I would prefer so we have stuck with using Excel work schedules.

**What problems is Omnigo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to better track and search all incidents or daily event entries. The customizable reports that include charts are great for presentations to higher ups, or just to visually see various metrics.The Clery statistics integration is a great bonus.

Easy access from anywhere and the system is easy enough for anyone to learn but very organized as well as professional. I love it.

There is nothing at all that I dislike concerning Omnigo. I think it has improved. Love it!

This system has provided us with a central location for our records.  The ability to document and track reports and actions has allowed our department to become more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Omnigo?**

We have had issues with users having their access corrupt somehow.  We have had to rebuild users accounts which interrupts workflow, especially when its a supervisor account.

**Recommendations to others considering Omnigo:**

New customers should review this system and its operational options with their IT department before rolling it out.  Our biggest issue was attributed to firewall design and security which limited us on a host of options Omnigo offered with this product.

Due to the amount of options, it can be difficult to comprehend how many different configurations are at your disposal.

Omnigo has enabled my agency to consolidate files and keep a long term record of files. Only one program is needed to document a plethora of information.

The RMS platform is very user friendly, and the support staff are always quick to answer questions and help find solutions to problems.

**What do you dislike about Omnigo?**

I do not feel our system was setup properly in the beginning, and to get the full benefit from the system that needs to happen.

**Recommendations to others considering Omnigo:**

The biggest recommendation is to do the setup right from the beginning.  Pay for the support if needed to do it right but do not only partially do it.  Also understand your needs before saying that your setup is complete.

The vastness of the functionality built into the system, and numerous customizations.

I wish the backend/admin side of the program were easier to navigate and manipulate to built the reports that we need, though do not account this to the software, but how it was built out initially for us.

The support from Omnigo is great! They are always quick to respond and willing to listen and make adjustments or new additions.

We needed a solution so that our employees could easily communicate with our security team. We use Omnigo Community to assist us with this and it has been very helpful.

I like the report writing format Which provide a very professional report. Our reports have been used in city and county courts to prosecute individuals involved in criminal activity. I also like the fact the system has so many purposes such as electronic ticketing.great

I wish the system allowed for more personalization as each agency is different.

**What problems is Omnigo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One business problem we solved is increasing the percent of citations being paid due to the organization of the program. We also do not have to pay employees to input data since it is automatically stored when a citation is issued.

I like that Omnigo has improved Report Exec when they took over the product.  If is faster to navigate now.  Before the response and options were too slow. 

**What do you dislike about Omnigo?**

I do not like the search function on this soft ware.  you have to set filters and clear the filters when looking for something beyond a recent incident.  I also do not like the scheduling software to complex to navigate.

The training videos are helpful.  The scheduling video is useful but not very helpful.

We have been able to utilize the event log which is far better then what we were using before.

The Clery review process for Clery compliance, ease of logging in and navigating the software, the ability for individual agency customization, and the customer support.

**What do you dislike about Omnigo?**

When a contact is added in dispatch and a report is generated from the call log, officers have to delete the contact and re-add it in order for a contact picture to appear in the officers report.

**Recommendations to others considering Omnigo:**

For the cost of the solution, I don't think there exists a better, easier to use and set up, or more robust application.

I have realized a significant reduction in administrative burden to comply with Clery.

Accessible from any computer with Web Access, means I can review reports from home when required.  Easy to make changes to the system in order to customize to my organization's needs

It did take some getting used to when it came to generating reports for quarterly reporting or other analytics, but once I got past the initial issues, it works great

I am now able to provide my organization with professional looking security reports as well as being able to generate graphs and charts that demonstrate the level of activity within my program.

I like the fact you are not nickeled and dimed price wise on the full rich feature set, as you get it all right out of the box with ReportExec.

There are some limitations in granting specific rights that we have learned to live with.

Look at the overall value a integrated reporting and dispatch system can have for your organization and clearly ReportExec pulls far ahead of the competition.

With one package we get Incident Case management, Dispatch, and Clery reporting. A wise fiscal purchase to be sure.

There are so many useful modules included in this software and I like that it is all on one platform so I don't have to have several different files or folders on the network.

We like the interface and ease of use of Omnigo Report Exec. We especially like the wide range of modules that makes it move beyond just a report writing software apparatus.

Nothing at this time. The price seems reasonable to us and unless that changes we are pleased.

The data mining we are able to accomplish between custom searches and export to Excel for further tweaking.

Some fields are not customizable. On the Incident Contact form, Driver's License does us no good. Company Name would be much more useful. Yes - we can use it for that, but can't change the name to help dispatchers know what to enter.

It is fairly easy to customize parts if you have needs that this software wasn't designed for.

Metrics are big in our company, so as noted in the "What do you like best" question, the data mining has helped us with the metrics.
