You can just use your google account or create an account. I use this to accept recordings from vendors or for sales meetings. Site functions well and video playback is good and doesn't cause any issues even for longer videos. Super useful for video transcriptions as well as saving video for zoom/teams meetings. Really good that it catches recaps and give you the transcription as well as the video and you can take stills as well as remember what was said in meetings. I also like that it scores your meetings for reading, engagement and sentiment. Also that I can just download the video if I need to clip portions for whatever reason is very good too. The interface is easy to use and I can look for reports as well as utilize the integrated AI functions to help me look through recordings for specific information. I can also ask it for key takeaways from meetings or things I should be looking to follow up on from meetings etc. **What do you dislike about Read AI?** Only the first 60 minutes of a meeting are kept for video format, and that’s the limit for how much gets transcribed or used for your purposes. Also the sentiment/engagement analysis is sometimes off as the context of the meeting and the social vibe doesn't match what the AI is classifying as poor engagement or sentiment (like humour or people being quiet for too long). **What problems is Read AI solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps me recap meetings and remember who said what, and when. It’s useful as a visual aid and also keeps everything straight, so I know what to do going forward; especially if I’ve forgotten what was said in Friday’s meeting. The software's design is designed to get other attendees hooked and to create an account **What do you dislike about Read AI?** Read.ai seems to embed intself into people's calendars and meetings. once a user receives a read.ai helpful report from a meeting they have joined, they are guided through a very easy set of signup steps. it's true, that the fine-print, and terms and conditions, make read.ai's behaviours clear, but who really reads the terms and conditions? Their marketing and product sign-up practice are the worst I have seen. Steer clear. **What problems is Read AI solving and how is that benefiting you?** It could solve the problem of making meeting recordings, but the security and privacy practices are poor. The GDPR section in their Help docs is instructive to read. "With regard to GDPR, Read has many customers in the EU who have reviewed our capabilities and are comfortable that the functionality and features we provide meets GDPR's expectations including notification and opt-out features (varies depending on the platform). Users have full control over their account, with the ability to delete or download the data for each report, in addition to deleting the overall account." What a load of marketing junk. They aren't GDPR compliant, so why not come out and say it? ### 18. I love everything about the meeting summaries, how simplified they are and how they capture all the important details that were discussed during the meeting. I find it very magical how read.ai saves the entire meeting session and not just that, i get to easily play back the recordings which allows me to rewatch abd listen to the highlight moments of the meeting. read.ai also offers interesting meeting reports which clearly indicate the performance of the meeting across all aspects from engagements, clarity in communication and so on and i usually use the performance metrics to help improve on the next meetings. read.ai does more to me than just helping me have effective meeting experience. It offers some coaching materials which help me to learn and acquire skills on how to facilitate better meetings as the host as well as the presenter. Getting to use the smart meeting scheduling tool in read.ai has helped me gain an accurate experience in scheduling my meetings. With the scheduler, am able to identify the most productive time and date suitable for having the meetings and this help ensure that i don't have any other engagements other than the meeting. **What do you dislike about Read AI?** In read.ai, everything is equally useful and i have not seen any feature that is less useful. I have had a super amazing experience with read.ai with no issues at all. It allows me to have more valuable and productive online meeting sessions by providing me with AI generated meeting summaries which contain all the important details that has been discussed in the meeting. I reached out to the company CEO over a week ago over Linkedin to tell him about our expreince and he didnt even care to respond. 4. Their APIs break all the time. 5. It admits into your meetings without asking for acceptance.
