Usually, Ramp is 2 steps ahead of me. It's smarter than me. I start to do something and it's already done. The app is a joy, the txt approach is great, and the website is about as good as a website can get. Sometimes the interface is a little TOO light. I've used expense tools for 20+ years, and because Ramp is so different, there can be an adjustment period when it comes to getting used to the platform. I like Ramp for its smooth integration with Netsuite and how user-friendly it is. The support is great, and they add new features very often. It's also easy to capture receipts, and I value the integration with emails and vendor accounts. As a cardholder, I appreciate receiving SMS and emails that make it easy to add pictures and reasons, and the email integration gives the ability to search invoices or receipts and attach them. It's challenging to connect tools like Claude or ChatGPT. Also, user management isn't as refined as I'd like. I like that Ramp is a one-stop platform that enables me to manage all the procure-to-pay related functions. Ramp has a lot of AI features that allow us to automate and expedite many processes. I also appreciate that Ramp connects with NetSuite seamlessly, which eliminates the need for manual transaction import and export between the two systems. I've noticed that with Ramp consistently launching new features and products, the user interface sometimes changes and some of the options and menus look very different, which makes it a bit harder because the user has to figure out what has changed and how to continue with the processes. Additionally, there are occasional system issues that cause delays in closing the books or managing operations on time, likely because they are launching too many products at once. I love how Ramp has simplified all our approval flows, bringing down our average approval time from a month to under a week. It has also reduced our AP costs and made expense tracking simpler and easier. The ease of use and financial tracking capabilities really set Ramp apart, and when you add in the cost savings, there's no product in the market that can beat Ramp today. Moving from Concur to Ramp felt like stepping into a resort after crawling through the desert, highlighting the significant improvements in sophistication and performance. Ramp is so much more sophisticated than companies like Concur when you move from Concur to Ramp the differences are so big that we really haven't found too many things so far that I would say Ramp needs to change. Maybe interact with Outlook or whichever calendaring application to see who you are interacting with as an appointment for an expense and fill in the expense when you take a picture for a receipt? In the past, my company used the bill pay function, and it was very simple to use. It also made it easy to check whether payments or checks had been sent or received. Currently, our company uses the credit card function, and whenever we’ve run into issues, Ramp has been there right away to help us resolve them. At the beginning of starting to use Ramp, the menus weren’t very functional, and it was a bit irritating moving from one menu to another because if I tried to go back to a previous menu, I often had to start over from square one. On top of that, Ramp would roll out various updates to the website, so every now and then it became a hassle to figure things out again. It's a very easy system to record receipts and expenses. I like the fact that it just requires a picture, a note and you're done. And half the time it now uploads a digital receipt already! I think that because I only buy one type of item for our department, the process is pretty straightforward. That said, I can see how it would get more complicated if you were buying, for example, office supplies for one department and food supplies for another, since you’d need two separate receipts for each department. It's quick, easy to use, and incredibly intuitive. Everything feels streamlined, and the workflows just make sense, which saves a ton of time on the finance side. From its automation to real-time visibility, Ramp makes managing company spending feel effortless. The list of things I appreciate just keeps going. We haven't used everything that this software offers, but knowing that it has a lot of features we can expand to use in the future is also great. Anytime I swipe the card, it's automatic; I'll get an email and a text message instantly. I don't have to wait anymore for expenses to show up before uploading receipts. With real-time visibility, it makes it super awesome for those of us who don't like to wait. I want to be able to upload things right away so I don't forget because I have other tasks to do. At the onset of using ramp we were given the link to set everything up. I went through all the steps and tutorials. I set the card up in my google wallet prior to receiving the actual card in the mail and tried to use it and that prompted the card to be deactivated and a second card issued. Honestly, I'm sure that was more of my fault because I wanted to use it already after going through everything and seeing how great of a product it was compared to Expensify.
