# Which user research repositories give product teams access to customer insights without going through the research team based on user reviews?

The pattern I've heard about most is a PM finding a past usability finding right before a roadmap review, something a researcher had already documented months earlier but that never resurfaced because nobody remembered which study it lived in. That's usually the real barrier before a repository exists, not that the research wasn't done, but that finding it required knowing it existed in the first place, which meant the same insight often got researched again from scratch rather than being reused.
