We do not like any of the features that QuickBooks has because their customer support is a complete joke, and you cannot get the help you need when you need it! **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?** QuickBooks has destroyed our accounting by trying to fix issues that their program created. We have had to go back in and recreate months of lost customer lists etc... We had Sage/PeachTree for 25-plus years and never had the problems that we are having with QuickBooks!! When you call customer support and are put on hold for very long periods and get cut-off multiple times, you may get to speak to nit-whits that know Nothing about the actual program and all they can do is read their stock answers out of their little book of answers. You cannot talk to anyone that will take responsibility for their product or that knows anything. Anyone that has any clout with QuickBooks is so well guarded that you can never speak to them. If you are considering QuickBooks Run don't walk to another accounting software and don't make the same mistake we did and buy their pathetic program! Wish we had never switched from Sage to QuickBooks now!! We had been told by everyone for years that we needed to switch to QuickBooks because everyone knows the program and it is more user-friendly. The only thing it has solved is that other products link up with it well, but if QuickBooks won't do its job and wipes out all of your hard work, then what good are all of the products that link up to it so well? ### 2. I obtained Enterprise which worked just fine until the end of the year **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?** When I needed to file W2C and W3c goverment tax forms I found out that, unlike the W2 and W3, I could not print on a preprinted tax form. It saves to a pdf file. There is no way to print a pdf on a goverment required form without printing on top of the preprinted form and causing a big mess. I went to google and then to QuickBooks and there was no help to be found. Quickbooks has known about this for two years and other had this problem in 2020 but I did not know because I did not need to prepare any W2C and W3c correction filings. I had to bring in a CPA and pay for services that were very expensive and they took the information to their office and printed using special equipment. This stinks and QB's should fix immediately. The cost of this software increased yet they did not fix a known problem for over a year. This has been important when I need to email reports instead of hard copies because of the requirement to use Zoom for our meetings. We are a 3PL, which makes things a little different, but we can make it work. I provide reports to our management and customer daily, and the automation of the reports is very useful! **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?** Version 22 is missing the scan manager, which was a critical component in our electronic record keeping. All current users have scanners attached to their workstations, so scanning was quick and easy. Now, users have to either use separate scanner software, scan to the PC, find the attachment, and drag it into the attachments window, or they have to download an app on their personal phones. Neither option is very suitable to our needs, and both add extra work. Also, the option to sound/ask every time you change any transaction because you can be completely sure that you modify the right one with the right information. the most important and useful thing is the linked accounts, so if you move money from your checking/regular account to your savings account you'll just have to record the information once and it will appear in both accounts. **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?** That you can not mark transactions from the account, so if you need to mark the ones that are linked to another account or the ones that you have doubts about where they should be you need to do it from the reconciliation window, but if you already reconciled the month you can't mark anything else. Intuitive menu's. You can create many different customized reports. Import / Export feature for reports and data makes it extremely useful. I can easily import spreadsheets of data for invoicing, sales receipts easily into Quickbooks. Exporting financial reports to Excel is very simple where you can then add change or format the spreadsheet to your liking. I love the Company snapshot feature which is essentially a dashboard that you can customize to your liking. I also process payroll through my QB Enterprise and after using many different payroll systems like ADP and Paychex, I have never had any easier than this to process a payroll, pay and file payroll taxes and quarterly filings with just a few clicks. All the journal entries are entered and it makes reconciling a breeze. What used to be a cumbersome task of of processing 3rd party payroll and then having to do all the journal entries is now a simple task with all the data built in. If I need payroll reports for a specific employee or in general, I have it at my fingertips. Processing checks and sending my vendors an electronic bill payment stub makes for a very efficient process and keeps my vendors happy knowing that their payment has been processed and exactly what is being paid. Having the class feature allows me to run highly customized reports for specific customers and then having it further broken down by job is invaluable. You can get all these features in an ERP system that costs tens of thousands of dollars to purchase and expensive annual fees to renew. **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?** One of my biggest dislikes or concerns is that data can be easily changed, causing problems such as reconciling differences hard to find. There is no log to track back what might have changed. **Recommendations to others considering QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise:** I think QB sometimes gets a bad wrap in that it is not as sophisticated as some ERP systems. It has made it way easier to prepare records for my accountant at tax time.
