What do you like best about Qmarkets Innovation Management?

I have used and implemented several different idea management platforms and QMarkets has impressed me with how easy it has been to integrate, launch and use. I really like the level of Customer care that is available throughout go-live preparation and ongoing post-go-live. Our Customer Success Manager is always on hand to share best practices, help us navigate new admin tasks and help us get the best out of the platform - this is something that I have not experienced with other platforms.

The platform is fully customisable and allows our idea to execution process to be mirrored in the platform. The platform can also be branded heavily so it reflects our organisation branding closely - it looks like our platform and not a third party app. The level of customisation does require time and effort to learn and navigate, but the rewards are worth it. Our customer success manager is always on hand to help us with anything new.

Our employees have been able to dive straight in and ideate and engage - we're very happy with the outcomes so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qmarkets Innovation Management?

It is hard so early on to identify any shortcomings. The level of customisation is both a pro and a con, but its one I'm prepared to live with. We have required support to customise and configure some elements of the platform, and this has required time to make sure we do it right, but the results are worth it. What do you like best about Qmarkets Innovation Management?

What do you like best about Qmarkets Innovation Management?

Unlike other innovations management tools you can automate all reoccuring tasks like sending E-Mail reminders, changes of an idea from one phase to another or communication with a jury.

This way it is possible to prepare several campaigns in advance and have the peace of mind that the stage-gate process is followed automatically. As an innovation manager you can then concentrate on the task of generating engagement within the innovators which tends to get neglected if too much effort goes into keeping the process going. What do you dislike about Qmarkets Innovation Management?

With a dynamic tool and automation comes complexity during setup. It takes therefore quite a bit of time in the beginning until everything is working as intended. We are also glad to hear that the automation functionality is giving you peace of mind and helping you to deliver your tasks efficiently. As well as how the single sign-on function is making it easier for your users to contribute ideas!

Occasionally initial set up can become complex due to the amount of functionality our self-admin features allow, but our customer success team is always on hand to support you whenever necessary, especially during the setup period in which regular catch ups with your CSM are scheduled. Our self-admin features should be introduced slowly into your innovation programme so that full basic understanding of the tool can be reached before adding this layer of complexity.

The customer-centricity of Qmarkets, since they are really helping their customer to find a solutions to their problems, providing fast and meaningful replies. What do you dislike about Qmarkets Innovation Management?

Sometimes the platform is too rigid, therefore a customized solution needs to be found. Besides, in the beginning, the setup at admin level might be challenging, but after some adjustment time, the process will ease. Lastly, the IT implementation might have been handled slightly better, with a clear framework from the beginning, from both the parts involved, Philip Morris included. What do you like best about Qmarkets Innovation Management?

The Qmarkets suite is extremely customizable, everything from the colors and layout of the home page to the entire idea management pipeline can be changed.

The entire idea review process can be tailored to the needs of the customer organisation, including putting in any number of review stages, creating custom email notifications, creating multiple levels of categorization (on the platform-level, on the campaign-level, based on user data like the department a user belongs to, etc.).

Having an idea management process that is tailored to the specific organisation's corporate hierarchy is really important because it ensures that ideas will actually get seen and reviewed. The system adapts to the existing organisational hierarchy, rather than the organisation having to adapt to the system. This is essential because it means that the process is mostly automated, so ideas will always be funneled to the right people who need to review them (team leaders, HR, Marketing, etc.) at every stage of the process. What do you dislike about Qmarkets Innovation Management?

The downside of everything being very customizable is that you will likely require some tutorials to learn how to navigate all of the menus and options. Luckily, the Qmarkets team is very supportive with extensive training during the onboarding process, and they'll teach you how to customize the platform through an online video chat. What do you like best about Qmarkets Innovation Management?

Qmarkets’ products can be implemented stand-alone or integrated together as subsystems within a unified platform. It covers almost all the possible scenarios which can happen in the cycle of ideation to innovation to its commercialization. Qmarket portal provides a lot of features and flexibility to customize it to organisation requirements.

The response time of Qmarket team for resolving the issues is commendable. Almost all the time team was able to resolve the problem within short duration of time.

What do you dislike about Qmarkets Innovation Management?

Personally faced many issues after the system up-gradation took place.

I am sure there will be a dedicated testing team assigned to test the product but my suggestion is to please test the new version completely considering all the possible scenarios user will face before launching or upgrading the old version.

The feature for attaching similar ideas should be improved it is limited by the fact that you can only attach the idea as a parent. Also, multiple relation hierarchy feature while attaching is not visible: If I make child idea as parent idea for some another idea then ideally in the grandparent idea child and grandchild idea should be visible. Similarly, child idea should show all 1st and 2nd level relation with other ideas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Please be assured that each of our product versions are rigorously tested before release - factoring in as many use-case scenarios as possible.

Qmarkets releases hotfixes on a weekly or biweekly basis. Our QA procedures include fully automated testing scenarios, as well as dozens of different manual testings in each update. In its agile product and release management, in each fix we also include major and minor improvements. Additionally Qmarkets launches 3-4 major version updates every year. If our users do come across any issues regarding an update, we endeavour to fix these as fast as possible!

It’s good to read however you’ve had success using our platform to facilitate your idea contests. Our Customer Success team is always on hand to work with you to ensure the continued success of your contests and to always meet the needs of your audiences going forward.

Intelligent definitions of business rules can be applied at each stage so that you have more control over what kind of ideas continue through your workflow. You can also considerably tweak your homepage’s layout and branding, and use our engaging content widgets to customize what your users ideas and campaigns your users see. Our dynamic system admin also includes user control, data capture, customized translation and more!

We needed to configure everything, it takes a lot of time to get to know the system and adjust it to your own processes.

We value your insights regarding configuration and translations. Currently, the system supports the following languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Chinese, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese, Norwegian, Russian, Turkish, Bulgarian, Hebrew, Japanese, Thai, Polish, Serbian, Czech, Greek, Swedish, and Swiss.

We are aware of the translation issues in Dutch and are currently having our Dutch translation service reviewed by fluent speakers. Qmarkets has also implemented new translation management software to organize all strings and translations.

If needed, new languages can be added on request. The languages can also be updated and managed by the system administrator. Each label, help text, mail etc. is customizable per language. Additionally, notifications are sent in the relevant user language.

In regards to making it easier to ‘get to know’ and adjust the system, we are building upon our ‘walk-me’ tutorials so that admins have a more intuitive means to configure the platform for their use cases.

Qmarket portal gives the liberty to design or configure the system as per the need of the corporation. It has all the required features to manage the campaigns. Qmarket portal has all the necessary features but the user interface especially colour used for indication of radio buttons is not user-friendly or do not follow the colour coding used in standard IT systems. Too many features make many users confused: Instead of providing guide interactive videos or animation explaining functionality if Q Market portal will help.
