## About Pyn
Pyn is an employee journey automation platform that helps HR teams trigger the right communications, tasks, and nudges at every lifecycle moment — automatically. From onboarding and promotions to manager effectiveness and offboarding, Pyn connects to your HRIS and orchestrates personalized employee journeys at scale. Pyn was built to help HR leaders bring their employee experience strategies to life. It combines journey design tools, automated delivery, and actionable insights in one place so teams can plan great experiences and execute them seamlessly. With Pyn, HR teams can: - Design the employee journey: map out key lifecycle moments like onboarding, promotions, and manager development, and visualize how each connects to business and culture goals. - Automate delivery: trigger personalized messages, tasks, calendar invites, and surveys automatically from HRIS data (like start dates, promotions, or anniversaries). - Measure engagement and impact: track message delivery, clicks, and see what's landing and what needs improvement. What this looks like in practice: - Consistency without complexity: no more rewriting onboarding messages or chasing reminders; everything happens on time, every time. - Better visibility and data: live journey metrics show what's working and where to focus next. - More strategic HR capacity: automation frees up HR to focus on culture, leadership, and growth instead of manual comms. How it works: Pyn uses your HRIS data (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, file upload, etc) to know when and what to communicate to employees. Messages can be sent through email or Slack, adjusted to the employee's timezone, and customized to each individual employee.

## Pyn Reviews
 ### 1. Game-Changer for Streamlined, Personalized Employee Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Pyn?**

Pyn has been an immensely helpful tool in streamlining, automating, and adding a ton of consistency to our employee support capabilities. Pyn allows us to define triggers within our HRIS that automatically kick off one-on-one communication flows to our employees in the moments that matter along their journeys. We have the ability to send automatic messages through Slack or email, meeting people in the places they're already spending time working and communicating. If an employee responds to an automated message, the conversation continues with the team member we set as the sender, making Pyn invisible to employees (which was a huge selling point). The messages feel very organic and natural, and have kicked off valuable conversations that give employees the proactive support they need as they navigate big moments like joining the company, onboarding, becoming a new manager, and investing in ongoing learning and development.

Pyn has saved our team so much time by automating manual communications, while unlocking new levels of equitable, personalized employee support. With the time we've saved, we've been able to focus on brand new initiatives to uplevel our employee experience in ways we simply didn't have the bandwidth to support previously.

Pyn's UI is extremely intuitive, and learning the system was a breeze. We're able to filter messages (and pieces of messages) effectively, define triggers, and build exactly what we need, complete with links, acknowledgments, and attachments where needed. Additionally, Pyn comes equipped with strong analytics capabilities that allow us to showcase our impact and really track our ROI. Implementation and integration were simple, Pyn's security features are very comprehensive and clear, and customer support has been extremely strong. As we got comfortable with the system, it was awesome that we had options to fully automate comms flows or use the system in verification mode to double-check and build trust; Pyn's accuracy has been spot-on, and we now have full trust in the system to automate message flows. Bringing Pyn into our tech stack has genuinely been game-changing; messages run through the system just about every single day now.

**What do you dislike about Pyn?**

There really isn't anything notable that I dislike about Pyn--this tool has been a true joy. As Pyn continues to evolve, I'd love to see additional formatting and style editing options, but this is a small suggestion that has in no way hindered our ability to use the tool effectively.

**What problems is Pyn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1.) Pyn has allowed us to scale consistent employee communications, ensuring equitable and personalized experiences across our workforce.
2.) Automating one-on-one communications triggered by HRIS events allows us to give employees the support they need in the moment they need it without increasing our team's workload. Pyn's messaging is seamless and the tool can be invisible to employees; automating proactive messages from our team members in the channels that people are already present and working in (email, Slack) has unlocked far more organic touchpoints in the moments that matter and cuts down on employee confusion and reactive questions.
3.) Using Pyn has reduced our time spent on manual tasks, allowing us to focus on new and already impactful initiatives we simply didn't have the bandwidth to build out previously.
4.) Pyn's analytics capabilities make it easy for us to track engagement and showcase how our efforts are impacting the employee journey.

 ### 2. Pyn is an absolute GAME CHANGER

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean C. | Sr. HRBP, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Pyn?**

My favorite aspect of Pyn is how much it streamlines and elevates the employee experience. The ability to trigger communications based on Workday events ensures employees receive what they need at exactly the right time. As an HRBP, this has been invaluable, as it reduces confusion, minimizes rework across internal teams, and ensures our messaging is consistent and on brand.

I also really value how easy it is to build, test, and iterate on workflows. The UI is simple, and the logic-based triggers remove guesswork. Because everything can be automated, our teams can spend less time answering repeat questions or manually sending reminders. Instead, we get to focus on more strategic, high-value work.

In addition to automating a large number of manual processes, Pyn has helped us identify the gaps in our employee journey that we couldn’t easily see before. By mapping out touchpoints and reviewing employee journey maps, we’ve been able to pinpoint what was missing, build new communications, and create end-to-end automations where previously nothing had existed. It’s allowed us to proactively design a more consistent, thoughtful, and complete employee experience.

**What do you dislike about Pyn?**

I don’t have any major dislikes about Pyn. The platform has been reliable, intuitive, and genuinely helpful in streamlining our processes. Any small areas for improvement have been minor and haven’t impacted our ability to use the tool effectively.

**What problems is Pyn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pyn has helped us identify and close gaps across the entire employee journey. We’re now able to see where communications were missing, outdated, or overly manual, and we’ve built automated workflows that didn’t exist before. As a result, employees get the information they need at the right time. From an HRBP perspective, Pyn solves the problem of inconsistent and reactive communication. Managers used to reach out asking what to do at each stage of onboarding, performance, leaves, or transitions. Now they receive proactive, step-by-step guidance automatically. This has reduced escalations, improved manager confidence, and freed up my time to work on more strategic priorities.

Additionally, Pyn has solved a long-standing coordination issue between HR, L&D, CREW, and IT. Previously, each team sent its own version of “Day 1” or “Manager Prep” emails in anticipation of employees starting onsite at our Crystal City Office. Now everything is centralized in Pyn workflows, which ensures consistency, accuracy, and timing. It’s improved the onboarding experience and reduced unnecessary back-and-forth between internal stakeholderrs.

 ### 3. Effortless Communication, Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Pyn?**

First and foremost, I appreciate how Pyn enables us to scale a thoughtful, personal, and timely employee experience at various points in an employee's experience. I like that Pyn is user-friendly. I enjoy the visual design of the UI, both as a user and how it looks to the receiver of the emails. I love their support, especially the customer success manager, Juliana, who feels like another member of the team, always there to help us. The Pyn team is extremely responsive if we have feedback, issues, or need help. They truly are an extension of our team, helping us ensure that our employee experience is seamless. We never feel like we're alone, and they are there to assist us every step of the way.

**What do you dislike about Pyn?**

The biggest feedback we've had is wanting more options for customizing our emails, especially for newsletters. It'd be great if we could have different headings, different colored fonts, just having a little bit more features and functionality from that sense.

**What problems is Pyn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pyn scales our communication, personalizes onboarding, and automates manager training. It saves us hours weekly, creating capacity to devote time to what's most strategic and impactful by automating thoughtful, tailored communications globally. Pyn ensures timely delivery and tailored employee experiences without maintaining multiple versions.

 ### 4. Customized, personalized content marketing brought to internal comms - finally!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dipti S. | CPOHQ Founding Member, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Pyn?**

Automation - by connecting into our slack environment and allowing us to program automated comms workflows, Pyn significantly reduced the lift of manual communications for employees. It fundamentally turned especially our onboarding process on its head! The automation meant that employees received the comms when they were supposed to - customized to their timezone and their needs.

Personalization - by allowing us to customize messages to specific scenarios (eg based on location, tenure, etc), it truly allowed our communications to be much more impactful because employees received the information they needed only at the time they needed.

Content - Pyn has a vast content library that has reduced our own manual lift by allowing us to leverage pre-drafted communications that are thorough and thoughtfully written.

Partnership - The Pyn team has been great to work with, providing us with advice and support every step of the way, especially in the beginning as we were ramping up and building our own familiarity with the tool. Their creativity and ideas helped us add a truly personal touch to our approach, in line with our culture and values!

**What do you dislike about Pyn?**

As Pyn matures further it has an opportunity to further integrate as a native app embedded into existing communications infrastructure (email, slack etc) which will make for an even more seamless user experience.

**What problems is Pyn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. With its automated solution, Pyn significantly reduces manual workload.
2. With its content personalization, Pyn increases the impact of our comms by serving them to the right people at the right time.
3. With its content library Pyn provides valuable and high-quality content to leverage, reducing time investment and improving the quality of our comms output.

 ### 5. Easy to use tool for sleek communications

**What do you like best about Pyn?**

- Easy-to-navigate interface
- Ability to schedule comms ahead of time
- Interfaces well with phones/tablets/desktops

**What do you dislike about Pyn?**

- Not enough font options. Any additional features to help with style editing would be helpful.
- I really don't have much else to add here - it's a solid product

**What problems is Pyn solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're using Pyn to send all-company communications that are setup and scheduled ahead of time. These comms aren't tied to a specific email address but rather to our larger People team.
