What do you like best about Progress Retail?

There system is well thought out and very intuative. They followup extremely quickly and we have yet to find any thing that they have not been able to fix or explain well. The system is easy to impliment and they do most of the heavy lifting of getting the process going and importing all the stuff into the platform. What do you like best about Progress Retail?

What do you like best about Progress Retail?

The platform is highly customizable and easy enough to manage. The breakdown of sections into small increments definitely helps with retention and progressive completion. The user analytics is very useful for keeping your team on track and seeing who is actively participating and making progress. There are great customer service modules which help set your team up for success with selling and knowing how to engage properly. The animations and visual graphics are a great tool for breaking down the core concepts and retaining knowledge. Overall, there are a lot of useful general retail training components that are best applied to newer sales associates or those without any prior experience. The materials are presented in a clear, appropriate and orderly fashion, and the platform is easy to navigate. You can create custom modules and materials with the assistance of the progress team which is helpful with tailoring your training to your businesses specific needs. What do you dislike about Progress Retail?

Some employees have a hard time taking Terry seriously, the persona doesn’t resonate with everyone. Many of the customer service modules operate based on a "perfect scenario" basis and do not address how to manage overtly difficult situations or customers. The reality of how customers actually interact is missing and renders the roleplays more "fantasy" than anything. There were a few sections which focus on attitude and positivity that do not address mental health and instead push a sort of "just get over it and decide to be happy" attitude which can be seriously insensitive and unrealistic. Overall, we found the platform to be most useful for newer employees with very little or no retail experience, and less useful for those who have been in the industry for a long time. We also work in a very specific sector of retail which requires more scientific and product specific knowledge that is not readily available on this platform as it focuses on general retail. While there is the ability to create custom modules suited to our business, we found that there are other platforms which are specifically built around our industry and hold more materials to that effect - which lessens the work on our end. The length of some of the training videos are pretty long, but I do realize that this is an ongoing process. I found that some of my employees got distracted, but that was fixed by showing them how to use the platform as opposed to trying to complete everything at once. What do you like best about Progress Retail?

The platform is easy to navigate. Their staff is attentive, responsive and adaptable. They are detail-oriented, easy to get along with and consistently going above and beyond to create the best experience I could ask for our staff. They make roll out/launch easy with step by step directions and a timeline that lays out the expectations.
