So departments keep using their work management tools but PPM Express gives stakeholders high level views and reports across all projects. You can build portfolios, make ideation available to everyone, manage resources, track time on tasks, make product roadmaps, and report on all projects, budgets, and schedules. **What do you dislike about PPM Express?** It does not yet have strategic decision making and modeling you would use in planning and prioritizing projects. I understand it is in the product roadmap. **What problems is PPM Express solving and how is that benefiting you?** Creating project portfolios and high level views of projects across the whole business toand ensure work is aligned with business objectives. Having moved from a more traditional PPM application, the implementation and integration with the existing Azure DevOps boards we were using was very quick. When we changed our structures withing Azure DevOps, it was equally easy to adapt the integrations. PPM Express support was helpful and their trainers guided us along the way as needed. **What do you dislike about PPM Express?** The support staff is generally helpful, but there seems to be the occasional delay when an inquiry is made and further troubleshooting takes place. The support process typically requires communicating through the website chat, rather than the ability to easily open a ticket for further research. The project budget module is evolving, but it would be helpful to associate files such as receipts, notes and records with budget line items and entries. **What problems is PPM Express solving and how is that benefiting you?** Integrating work items and information that is in Azure DevOps with supplemental information that was previously maintained elsewhere, such as detailed status explanations, roadmaps, ideas, budgets and management reporting. ### 3. There are workarounds, and I'm sure they'll get to improving its functionality in time. **What problems is PPM Express solving and how is that benefiting you?** We did not have a robust system to house project information from a portfolio perspective. Thanks to the solution, it is easier to work on different projects in parallel. The visual aspects of the tool are great, easy auto-reporting as well. **What do you dislike about PPM Express?** Well, the in-app design could seem a bit outdated. That’s what you're used to in ADO or planner. I miss a bit the ability to create tasks in jira directly from the app. Hopefully, they'll present it soon. **Recommendations to others considering PPM Express:** If you hate switching from app to app s and don’t want to waste time on manual reporting, PPM Express will be a relieving discovery. **What problems is PPM Express solving and how is that benefiting you?** I’d mention that PPM Express is a great tool for bringing more transparency to your portfolios.
