Migrating to FDHQ, setting it up, and learning it was relatively painless. Their sales staff and development team were very helpful in dealing with issues and accommodating our requests. The scope of FDHQ's functionality is just enough to cover our needs (membership and punch card sales; class reservations; in-store retail sales; reporting) without being so exhaustive that it is difficult to learn. Reporting is the biggest issue for us. While FDHQ offers a number of canned reports, they are somewhat duplicative and employ data fields that we cannot figure out (cannot explain or replicate). Nonetheless, we can get what we want by downloading the data into Excel and manipulating it ourselves. A better solution would be to a) let users customize reports, or b) at least memorize the filters we use so that we don't have to do so much work in Excel.
Secondly, although far less important, there is no way to talk to a live person at FDHQ. They are generally extremely responsive to emails, so it's not a big deal. And if it keeps the cost of the software down, all the better. It just requires a little more patience (and typing). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
