What do you like best about PayTrace?

Its easy navigation and user-friendly interface make it easy to integrate with other systems. The capabilities of the dashboard and the user interface design provide above-average reporting and end user experience. It is extremely safe to use because it complies with PCI DSS regulations and uses tokenisation and encryption. It is capable of handling many currencies. Paytrace makes both single-transaction and bulk uploading simple. Overall, it's worth the money and useful to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PayTrace?

It is challenging to modify the platform to meet their unique requirements. Customer service response times and availability fall short of expectations, and they  not always be instantaneous during peak demand times. Its dated and less user-friendly UI makes it more difficult for newcomers to navigate than rival apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about PayTrace?

Although I hit some recent bumps with the changes for sandbox accounts, I'm able to test every function via the sandbox before going to the production server. Clients request new features, good for me, I'm able to verify those features quickly via the sandbox enviroment.

Regarding service, on the rare occassion I need it, like yesterday, I got it. Danielle Prochaska solved my biggest headache and was good enough to stay on the phone to solve my recent headaches with the sandbox changes. Everything is back to working. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PayTrace?

This is a tough question, I would like to have had a better understanding about the sandbox changes in advance. Where to put that information? Possibly on the developers's site, at the top? A button indicating recent sandbox changes? 3 or 4 examples using api.sandbox.paytrace.com? Or in the sandbox portal, https://vt.sandbox.paytrace.com

And the question below about my primary role when using PayTrace, why is Developer not an option? My clients are the Users, not me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Pricing is competitive and integrations are relatively straight-forward and simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PayTrace?

When it works, it's fine.

But every once in a while they have incredibly long outages (going on 30 hours right now).

PayTrace status page shows 100% uptime for all services and no issues having been reported.

Phone support turns off at 7pm PT. Difficult to get responses and updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about PayTrace?

Paytrace offers a lot of customization and white-labeling. Very user-friendly and easy to learn for not-so-tech-savvy clients. Their customer support is knowledgeable and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PayTrace?

Changes in their fee structure have driven us away from paytrace to alternative gateways. They offer a good solution but majority of our customers were not happy with sudden price increases for value-added services they were utilizing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
