# Which kennel management platforms send automated reminders to pet owners without manual follow-up?

I've been looking into which kennel management platforms send automated reminders to pet owners without manual follow-up for a facility whose front desk was spending real time every day calling owners about upcoming reservations and expiring vaccine records. Here's what stood out in the Kennel category on G2, again flagging that this is a small category with a thin review pool compared to mainstream software.

Gingr. Automated reminder emails and texts tied to upcoming reservations and vaccination expirations. Best for facilities wanting reminders tied directly to compliance requirements.

MoeGo. Automated appointment reminders and follow-up messaging built into the booking workflow. Best for facilities wanting reminders as part of the booking flow itself.

DaySmart Pet. Automated client communication tools shared across its broader pet care business features. Best for multi-service pet businesses wanting one communication system.

Given the small size of this category, it's worth trying a free trial directly rather than relying heavily on comparison research, since the differences between these tools show up more in daily workflow feel than in any feature list.

For kennel and boarding operators, did automated reminders actually cut down on no-shows and expired-vaccine turnaways, or did owners still need a phone call to actually respond?

The part I’d want to test is what happens after the reminder goes out. Automating the text saves the front desk a step, but not if staff still have to chase owners who ignore it or manually check whether vaccine records were submitted. I’d be curious whether Gingr users have actually seen fewer follow-up calls, or whether it mainly shifts when the manual work happens.
