We use the solution from Osapiens for the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).
We chose the solution from Osapiens because the platform reliably integrates complex processes and fully covers all relevant requirements of the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) (as opposed to other offered solutions, which often only covered partial tasks or would have required additional manual rework).
Another decision criterion for Osapiens was the network effect: many of our customers use the same solution. Due to the direct data exchange via the platform, the effort of data transfer (passing on the reference number of our due diligence declaration) is significantly reduced, saving time and minimizing sources of error.
Furthermore, the supplier portal, in which we invite our suppliers to query order data for our affected items (e.g., to obtain geolocation data, batch information, etc.), is free of charge for our suppliers. This increases acceptance among our suppliers to use the tool accordingly, which improves the data basis and documentation for us and significantly simplifies coordination with the suppliers. We can fully recommend the EUDR solution from Osapiens, but an interested company must be aware that extensive training is necessary before deploying the solution to use the system in compliance with requirements.
