This advanced capability lets you easily deploy distributed document scanning and indexing at remote locations using the Internet or your corporate intranet. Remote document capture eliminates the need to ship paper documents to a central site for scanning and processing.

**What do you like best about OptiDoc Document Scanning?**

The remote scanning and capturing of the data for updating the database obviates unnecessary shipping and centrally scanning/ updating tasks. The OCR is a gamechanger and makes optidoc stand out from its peers. It not only saves money but also lots of time and avoids embarrassing document missouts.

**What do you dislike about OptiDoc Document Scanning?**

The UI could be made more beautiful and contemporary. It has an old windows look which needs to be improved. Further, on the web version, OCR does not work, and we have to add the data manually.

**Recommendations to others considering OptiDoc Document Scanning:**

Users who are very comfortable with windows environments would like this application.  It is simple and easy to use and solves most of the document scanning and retrieval problems.

**What problems is OptiDoc Document Scanning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Unnecessary logistics cost has been saved, Various stakeholders upload their documents from their premises, and thus, there is no need for a document controller.
