**What do you like best about Odoo Discuss?**

The best part about Odoo Discuss is how seamlessly it integrates with the rest of the Odoo ecosystem. Unlike standalone messaging tools, every conversation in Discuss is tied to real business records—so when you’re discussing a sales order or a project task, the full context is right there. Channel-based communication helps keep team discussions organized, while direct messaging makes quick internal communication feel effortless. Being able to tag colleagues, share files, and receive instant notifications has significantly reduced our reliance on email for internal communication.

**What do you dislike about Odoo Discuss?**

While Odoo Discuss works well inside the Odoo environment, it still feels fairly limited compared with dedicated communication tools like Slack or Microsoft Teams. The search feature isn’t very strong, so tracking down older messages or specific files from past conversations can be frustrating. It also lacks threading within channels, which makes it difficult to follow individual topics once group chats get busy. The mobile app experience could be smoother as well, since notifications are sometimes delayed. And if your team relies on tools outside of Odoo, there’s virtually no integration support, which ends up forcing you to switch between platforms.

**What problems is Odoo Discuss solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Focused on small team experience: "For a growing team, managing internal communication without a proper tool was becoming chaotic. Odoo Discuss gave us structured channels for different departments, made file sharing simple, and kept everyone on the same page without needing a separate subscription for a communication tool. The cost saving alone of not needing Slack was a bonus.

**What do you like best about Odoo Discuss?**

I love how Odoo Discuss integrates with the rest of the platform.It also keeps all the conversation and communication in a single place so i do not need to switch between multiple tools.The interface is very easy to use and features like channels make the things seperate and organized.

**What do you dislike about Odoo Discuss?**

It provides a lot of features like creating channels,scheduling activities and mroe but it feels a bit limited as compared to other tools.Some features like  advanced search and customization are not very optimized.

**What problems is Odoo Discuss solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Odoo Discuss helps to organize the chats that feels scattered.Having all the conversation in a single system makes it organized and keep communication directly linked to the work.This helps me to reduces a lot time by working on a single system instead of switching to multiple tools.

Actually I find it very hard to find what I´m looking for, If I want to filter if the campaing is on or not, it takes a lot of steps to find it

**What problems is Odoo Discuss solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it supposed to help with Internal communications, but In my company no one is used to it, so so far its not workin as it should, it takes a lot of time for people to reply anything

**What do you like best about Odoo Discuss?**

The best thing I like about Odoo is its modular structure; we can start with a CRM or accounting and gradually scale it. Also, the strong integration between these modules is very polished. They also have Open-source flexibility for ground level customization is very effective. On top of it, they have a large ecosystem of apps, plugins and addons.

**What do you dislike about Odoo Discuss?**

Their implementations are a bit complex without the technical help. Some advanced features vary between community and enterprise versions. Their reporting dashboards should be more intutive and engaging as well.

**What problems is Odoo Discuss solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Odoo helps me solve the problem of needing multiple standalone tools by bringing all together in CRM, Sales, Accounting, Inventory and Project Management into unified systems. Their open source platfor which gives me varaity of app in their ecosystem, defenilty a problem solver.

**What do you like best about Odoo Discuss?**

I work as a Customer and Product Support specialist and Odoo is a great tool to provide support, I like how everything is organized. They have sections for contacts, other for assigned tasks, other for clients budgets, so I really like to work in this platform and work organizely, efficiently and effectively. I am thankful that tags and tasks are integrated with the email, so notifications of tags arrive to the email account you have linked to the account.

**What do you dislike about Odoo Discuss?**

I use this platform daily, and I don-t like that it needs to be manually refreshed to update data, info, tasks. It would be great to have new tasks come with notifications without refreshing the page.

**What problems is Odoo Discuss solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my company, we are constantly working with new clients and this implies creating new accounts daily. Odoo helps us to organize every single step needed to make sure the new clients gets everything active, authorized, and working properly. Same as cover every client budget to make sure they recieve what they pay for or get cancelled when their budget shows the expiration dates.

**What do you like best about Odoo Discuss?**

I appreciate the clean, intuitive interface and the ability to organize conversations into channels. It allows for transparent communication across departments without the noise of external social tools. The 'Favorites' bar makes it easy to pin important ongoing discussions, and the search functionality is fast and accurate

**What do you dislike about Odoo Discuss?**

Hard to Retrieve Context: While you can search for keywords, filtering by date, specific user, or file type is not as intuitive or powerful as in competitors. Finding a specific file sent three months ago in a busy channel can be frustrating

**What problems is Odoo Discuss solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Odoo Discuss provides a unified presence. The ability to see user status and instantly switch from a chat to a voice/video call within the same browser tab has made our remote collaboration seamless. It centralizes our notifications so we don't have to check five different tools to see what needs attention

The real time messaging is great make communication with team much faster, i like that everything is integrated in one place with our other odoo apps,  so i dont have to switch between different platforms

**What do you dislike about Odoo Discuss?**

The seaech functions could be better sometimes its hard to find specific messages or files from a while back also mobile app feeps a bit clunky compared to desktop version

Cuts down on the endless email chains we used to have. Everything is one spot now. Made internal communication faster and improved response time
