Customization is and always be a double edged sword. At much as it can improve it can also make it that more complicated to maintain and upgrade. But as they continue to take into account the ideas and feedback of their clients their base and functionality will continue to expand. Ease of use. It is not very user friendly. It requires a patient's chief complaint to equal the diagnosis determined at the end of the visit by the physician. What do you like best about NextGen Healthcare EHR?

What I like most about using NextGen is that I can fax orders to different offices through the computer system if I don't want to use a fax machine. I can also send in prescriptions to the pharmacy electronically Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

NextGen is an integral part of our business. We make appointments, check them in and bill in NextGen PM, then use NextGen EHR for collecting patient information, medical decision making, orders (meds, labs, diagnostics, referrals, etc.) Much improved over paper processes and we liked the customizability over some competitors.
