## Nectar Reviews
 ### 1. Boosts Employee Engagement with Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arial M. | People & Culture Organizational Development Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like that Nectar is really easy to use. It reinforces our core values as a company. I enjoy seeing what awesome work other team members are doing by reviewing their posts on the platform. I also appreciate that it gives everybody the opportunity to shout out positive things happening in the organization. I really love the platform and how it allows us to demonstrate core values and thank team members for their work behind the scenes.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There's nothing I don't like about Nectar! An improvement idea would be to add a spotlight of really meaningful or high impact shout outs that happen. I mean, there's a lot that are on there and I can scroll, but maybe it would be a cool feature if they could, like, group similar things that are happening or spotlight something that seems really heroic or just basically to help with the administrative process of showcasing, the best examples of awesome work that's happening across the organization.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I feel like Nectar solves the problem of providing instant encouragement, promotion, and thanks on a visible platform, making team members feel engaged and valued.

 ### 2. Nectar Promotes Easy and Uplifting Company-Wide Recognition

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan H. | Data Support Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I appreciate that Nectar allows co-workers to share successful moments and give one another a "pat on the back" on a platform that is visible to the entire company. I think Nectar encourages positive co-worker interactions and especially helps connect co-workers in virtual workplaces.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I haven't encountered anything yet that is a dislike about Nectar.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to feel more connected to my team, and the company as a whole, even though everyone is a virtual worker.

 ### 3. Easy, Quick, and Rewarding—Incentives That Add Up

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Veronica R. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

It’s easy and quick to use, and it helps reward good deeds. The incentives and rewards add up over time, which makes it feel worthwhile.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

It would be nice to get notifications when others react to our posts. Other than that, I find it very user-friendly and easy to use. Product is easy to navigate and very quick. Easy to get started.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It lets us reward colleagues behind the scenes, and they can choose their reward once they’ve accumulated enough points. I can now recognize and reward others whenever I want.

 ### 4. A great platform for building a culture of appreciation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hrithik V. | Software Engineer - Trading Systems, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar makes employee recognition simple, visible, and engaging. It’s easy for me (and others on my team) to recognize coworkers in real time, attach rewards, and reinforce our company values and principles. The Slack integration is also very smooth, which makes it easy to recognize others on a monthly basis or quickly when the moment comes up.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

While some reward customization options could be expanded, these feel like minor points overall compared with the value Nectar provides.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar helps solve the problem of inconsistent and informal employee recognition. Before Nectar, appreciation for coworkers and teams was mostly limited to managers and wasn’t very visible across the organization. Now, anyone on the team can recognize great work, which improves transparency and helps boost motivation and engagement. Overall, it has helped build a stronger culture of appreciation and made employees feel more valued.

 ### 5. Easy-to-Use Platform for Recognizing Colleagues, with Handy Slack Notifications

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jorge A. | The profesional, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

It’s a great platform—really easy to use and with a friendly environment. It allows us to recognize the great work our colleagues are doing in the company. It also connects with Slack, so we receive notifications when we’re recognized as well.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There are not too many challenges; there should have more challenges where we can earn more points.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recognition, because using Netcar, we can do it in an easy way and others join the recognition process.

 ### 6. Spreading Positivity and Boosting Workplace Morale with Nectar

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jasmine J. | Secondary Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I truly value the opportunity to spread positivity among my colleagues. It not only fosters a more uplifting environment but also significantly enhances overall morale in the workplace.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I don't dislike anything about Nectar. If I had to change anything, I would make the UI more user-friendly. Although it does a pretty good job overall.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps you, as an employee, uplift others without having to think about it. We often forget to thank people for the small things that happen, and Nectar solves that problem.

 ### 7. Makes Recognition Easy and Meaningful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura A. | Engagement Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I love how you can feel appreciated for the work you put into your projects and daily tasks. I also love how we can shout out or teammates for their hard work and effort!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The point system can be a bit confusing when gifting to another employee
as it has caused me to lose points when "redeeming" instead of just gifting to the employee.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar is solving how employees can tend to feel under-appreciated, but through this point system we are all reminded that our hard work matters.

 ### 8. A Fun, Rewarding Way to Celebrate Coworkers with Nectar

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Misten P. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like that I can reward my coworkers for the help they give me. It is also a way for us to celebrate each other's victories in a way that provides prizes. People get very excited to cash out their nectar points and save for the prize they want.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I don’t have any dislikes. I’m genuinely happy with Nectar, and it has been a great experience overall.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Staff morale. It helps by giving us a way to support one another and recognize each other for the everyday things that aren’t always noticed by upper management.

 ### 9. A Great Way to Recognize Others and Show Appreciation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pa Nhia Y. | Staffing Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like that you can recognize others, whether it’s for a kind gesture or something they did for you. Sometimes, when someone helps you out with something, people forget to give back or even acknowledge it because everyone gets so busy. This feels like a great way to say thank you and show appreciation.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There isn’t anything I don’t like about Nectar. I just wish I could give out more points to people because of all the kind things they’ve done for me!

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar helps solve the common problem of forgetting to send a thank-you card to someone who helped you. Instead, you can recognize and thank them directly through the Nectar app or platform. This is benefitting me in a way where I can send a quick nectar point and recognition to a co-worker who helped me.

 ### 10. Easy, Fun Shout-Outs That Boost Team Morale

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nan L. | Customer Care Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I really enjoy how easy it is to give shout-outs to fellow co-workers. It’s a simple way to give them a little pick-me-up, whether that’s a gift of points or even just a welcoming and/or funny GIF.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I don’t have anything negative to say about Nectar. You’re great—thank you for providing such a helpful window for both employees and employers.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is an easy way for coworkers to give accolades to other coworkers across the organization. It not only ensures the employee being recognized receives the recognition directly, but also allows that positive outreach to be seen and heard by supervisors, HR, and leadership.

 ### 11. Easy Coworker Recognition That Boosts Morale

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diedre A. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I truly enjoy the chance to highlight the incredible work of my coworkers! Recognizing their contributions not only boosts morale but also fosters a positive team spirit.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There are no downsides to Nectar; I often forget to use my points before the month ends. This is usually not a problem thanks to the email reminders I receive.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I absolutely love the option to redeem my points for gift cards! The selection of retailers available is fantastic, making it so exciting to choose where to treat myself.

 ### 12. Nectar Makes Employee Recognition Easy and Truly Rewarding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is a great way for companies to reward their employees and setup peer to peer rewarding as well. It helps boosts morale, drives employees to strive to be their best overall, and has real rewards that people will want.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Some of the UI elements could be better. When I am rewarded as a group, and want to reciprocate rewards, it should know that I am not trying to give myself points, and replace me with the original Nectar giver along with the group. That logic is not there so a user has to create a whole new post instead of being able to tack on more points to the same group. Needs to be implemented.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows peers to provide rewards and feedback without making things awkward. It's a great program that is easy to use.

 ### 13. Encourages Meaningful Praise with Tangible Rewards

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I love that we’re encouraged to praise our colleagues, and it’s also nice to receive a physical reward for the hard work you do.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I wish Nectar were easier to log into. Having to request a code every time I sign in slows me down, and it can be a bit frustrating when I’m trying to move quickly. I almost wish it were a Google add-on so it would feel more seamless. I also sometimes forget to spend my points in certain months, and I’d appreciate reminders. Along the same lines, I wish we got reminders to submit a shoutout, plus some small incentive for doing it.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar is helping our fully virtual company enable employees to connect quickly and positively. The benefits are a great encouragement and make it easier to build those connections.

 ### 14. Sincere Appreciation for the Opportunity to Share Feedback

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steph H. | Administrative Technician, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I think it's a great platform, it's fun to see what others are working on and how they are being appreciated. It gives me good ideas on how to be grateful to my team! I like that I can put in a funny GIF, it adds a layer of personality to each post. I also enjoy the variety of what I can redeem my points for! I don't have many yet but it's something to look forward to. It's easy to navigate, and I like that points get reloaded every month for us to recognize each other. I have never had a platform like this so I am enjoying the opportunity to show gratitude! I log on at least once a day to see what's going on. It's like social media, but for the office!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I wish I could search for a user to see their page, instead of having to find a post where they are tagged!

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work in a medium sized town but staff is divided across a few different buildings. Nectar helps to bridge the distance between coworkers and departments, and highlights the importance of collaboration and teamwork. Different teams help each other despite the different work locations, so it's nice to see what's being done and how they help each other!

 ### 15. Easy, High-Quality Rewards That Make Coworker Recognition Meaningful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I have not found anything that I dislike about Nectar thus far.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar is helping to build community in our company and strengthen relationships. It also helps us to point out our company core values and repeatedly draw attention to them, which keeps them at the forefront of our minds.

 ### 16. Nectar Makes Workplace Appreciation and Engagement Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucas K. | Survey/CAD Technician, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

It incentivizes co-workers and upper management to express and receive appreciation for their hard work and accomplishments within the workplace. It also encourages employees to participate during work events and overall gives employees one more incentive to do their best work.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I have no issues with Nectar. I think it is great!

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As mentioned, it encourages participation from employees that generally would not participate during work events and provides another avenue for employees to be recognized for their hard work and accomplishments.

 ### 17. Excellent Platform for Employee Recognition and Rewards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abbey W. | Project Accountant II, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I believe Nectar is an excellent tool for recognizing employees and sharing updates throughout the company. With our team spread across several states, I appreciate being able to see what my colleagues in other locations are working on and to receive recognition for my own contributions. I also really enjoy the rewards system—Nectar provides a variety of great options for redeeming reward points.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The main issue I have with Nectar is that I am repeatedly required to log in, even though it is already linked to Teams. I would prefer if there were an automatic login feature that kept me connected as long as my Teams account is active.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar has made it easier for my company to connect and foster a positive atmosphere. We can recognize each other's achievements, which really boosts morale. I also love that we can use the recognition points we earn to redeem gift cards—it's a great incentive!

 ### 18. A Simple, Meaningful Way to Celebrate Coworkers and Build Team Culture

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

I like being able to recognize coworkers and celebrate their hard work. It's a simple way to show appreciation and build a positive team culture.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

It can be easy to forget to use regularly, so sometimes recognition isn't as consistent as it could be.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar makes it easy to recognize and appreciate coworkers. It helps build morale, encourages teamwork, and creates a more positive work environment.

 ### 19. Simple, Meaningful Coworker Recognition with Flexible Rewards

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel M. | Sr. Project Manager - Major Correctives, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like how simple it is to recognize coworkers. It takes just a few seconds, and everyone can see and celebrate the recognition. The rewards are flexible and actually useful, which makes the whole system feel meaningful rather than gimmicky.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Nothing. The tool is easy to use and does as intended.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar helps solve the issue of inconsistent recognition. Before, good work often went unnoticed or only got mentioned in passing. With Nectar, it’s easy for everyone to give quick, public appreciation, so people actually feel seen. It also keeps our team more connected, especially when we’re not all in the same place.

 ### 20. A Fun Way to Celebrate Coworkers and Build a Positive Culture

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leina G. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I have enjoyed getting to shout out my coworkers throughout the year. This is such a fun way to build a positive work culture and encourage the great things that are happening!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I wish my points would roll over each month so that I can give more points for bigger things or if I missed the end of the month I still can give those points.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar benefits me because it makes me feel like I am a contributing part of the team and the work I am doing is seen and valued.

 ### 21. Easy Coworker Shoutouts for Recognition, Birthdays, and Work Anniversaries

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaitlin T. | Substance Abuse Technician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

The best thing I like in regards to Nectar is being able to send shoutouts to other coworkers, not only for them to be see/be recognized, but others can see the things they do as well! It's also a great way to celebrate coworkers birthdays and recognize their employment time within the company.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The least helpful thing I don't like about Nectar is the hashtags. You are unable to post until you add a hashtag and I feel sometimes the hashtags do not go with what you are sharing.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar is solving the problem of sharing staff shoutouts from were ever you are instead of having to do the shout out face-to-face. We are also able to celebrate others even if we are not with them at the time.

 ### 22. Empowering Recognition Across the Company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darcy L. | Contact Center Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I love the chance to shout people out and have them recognized by the whole company. The platform is intuitive and easy to use, there are a number of gifs and fun memes to use in shout outs. I look at it every day to see what shout outs are being given, and I am always so proud when I receive a shout out.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I really don't dislike anything at all, I can't think of anything.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives frontline workers the chance to be seen by everyone, and of course, the rewards just make it that much better. We use it for recognizing outstanding work, but also on rough days, we like to do fun things like "I'll give 10 nectar to the funniest dad joke". Since everyone gets an allowance to give out, it empowers everyone on the team to recognize good work, or to create a bit of fun.

 ### 23. Great Way to Improve Employee Recognition but Full Company Buy-in is a Must

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

Nectar helps us to solve employee recognition and acknowledgement issue. It has benefited me because it has allowed me to be an active part of employee recognition

 ### 24. A Simple and Powerful Platform for Meaningful Employee Recognition

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankush v. | Customer Support Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

What I like best about Nectar is how easy and effective it is as an employee recognition platform. It’s very user-friendly, simple to implement, and integrates smoothly with existing workplace tools. The platform encourages frequent use by making recognition quick and engaging, while offering a strong range of features like peer recognition, rewards, and reporting. Additionally, the customer support team is responsive and helpful, making the overall experience smooth and reliable.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

While **Nectar** works very well overall, one area that could be improved is adding even more customization options for rewards and reporting to better fit different company needs. Sometimes, minor feature enhancements or additional flexibility in configurations would make the platform even more powerful. However, these are small improvements, and the overall experience remains very positive.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar solves the problem of inconsistent and infrequent employee recognition by making appreciation simple, structured, and part of everyday work culture. It eliminates the gap where good work often goes unnoticed and replaces it with a transparent, peer-driven recognition system. This benefits me by creating a more motivating and positive environment where efforts are acknowledged in real time, boosting morale, engagement, and overall team collaboration.

 ### 25. Streamlined, User-Friendly UI That Makes Connecting Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raphael P. | IT Support Technician, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Easy engagement with the UI and being able to connect with the other users on the platform. When making a shoutout, the point allocation and mentions of other user is streamlined and not difficult at all.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Lack of customization of the home screen layout. Some of the pages like the calendar I would like to move to be able to read the messages from other users clearly.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Upon collaborating with other people in my company it sometimes feels like you will never get recognition for the work you do. However, thanks to Nectar its great to have everyone see what you have done and how it helped the team.

Nectar is mainly solving the problem of inconsistent, invisible, or delayed employee recognition as the platform adds structure and timeliness, allowing recognition to happen in real time instead of being saved for evaluations. That immediacy tends to make feedback feel more meaningful and relev

 ### 27. Great Reward Options, But Announcement Privacy Controls Could Improve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Derrianna B. | Reading Interventionist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like the vast number of options that it offers for rewards. It meets the needs of everyone.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I don’t like that it doesn’t always give me the option to hide my announcement from the general company feed.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It addresses the problem of not having a system in place to recognize coworkers. It benefits me because I can acknowledge my peers whenever they help me with anything, which makes it easier to show appreciation in the moment.

 ### 28. Effortless Recognition and User-Friendly Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julia C. | Claims Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I really appreciate how Nectar allows me to publicly recognize my coworkers in a way that genuinely benefits them. The platform is extremely user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy for me to navigate and find whatever I need. Giving shoutouts is also a quick and straightforward process, which I find very convenient.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The only aspect of Nectar that I find frustrating is the need to cash out points in set increments, which often leaves a small balance remaining. However, I am unsure if this is a decision made by Nectar or if it is outside of their control.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we started using Nectar, my organization did not have an easy way to recognize many people for the small things they did. Nectar has made it simple to show everyone that their efforts are valued and that every contribution, no matter how minor, is important.

 ### 29. Nectar Strengthens Team Morale and Communication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jakita M. | Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I really like how easy Nectar is to access and navigate. The platform feels straightforward, and I can quickly get to what I need without any hassle. The reward options are also really good — there’s a wide variety to choose from, which makes the experience more enjoyable and motivating. Overall, it’s convenient, user-friendly, and offers meaningful rewards that actually feel worth earning.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I don’t have many dislikes. The only small inconvenience is that I often have to re-verify my login even when I select the option to remember my device. It’s not a major issue, but it can be a little repetitive at times. Other than that, my experience has been positive.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar helps improve communication and connection across the company by giving us an easy way to recognize and appreciate one another. It supports team building and creates a more positive work environment. Because employees can receive recognition in real time, it helps us feel seen and appreciated for the work we do. This has definitely boosted morale and made collaboration smoother.

 ### 30. Recognizing Teammates With Nectar

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like how easy Nectar makes it to recognize people in the moment. It feels natural, not forced, and it’s a good way to give quick shout‑outs and see the positive things everyone is doing. It’s a simple way to help build good morale and keep things positive across the team.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Sometimes it feels easy to forget to use Nectar when things get busy. I also think the rewards could be a little more flexible, but overall it’s still a positive tool.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar helps solve the problem of recognition getting lost in the day‑to‑day hustle. It makes it easier to acknowledge people’s efforts without it feeling awkward or overlooked, which is nice. For me, it’s a simple reminder to recognize good work and it helps keep things positive and connected across the team.

 ### 31. Personalized Messaging Made Fun with GIFs and Emojis

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Savannah S. | Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like the ability to personalize the message by adding gifs and having emoji reactions.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There really is not much that sticks out to me as negative. I suppose that when you want to look back at your personal given and received shoutouts on your profile the page is not full size

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar is a great way for us to call out acts by fellow employees no matter how small or large in order to highlight that moment and provide recognition, along with some points! It is customizable in the messaging so that we can all keep our personality in it and vary it based on the message. The reward options to "cash in" your points are very diverse and beneficial to people like me who like to build up their points and save them for something larger, or for people who want to be able to exchange smaller amounts as they come up for smaller gifts.

 ### 32. Seamless, User-Friendly Platform with Fun Personalization Options

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victoria S. | Service Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

This platform is easy to use! I have never encountered any errors or issues - the technology always works seamlessly. There is a great selection of GIFs and emojis available, which makes it fun to add extra flair to shoutouts. The platform's organization is excellent; I have never had any difficulty finding information or features.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

When selecting a name with the @ feature, the results do not always appear promptly or accurately. For instance, if I am searching for John Doe, I might need to type out @johndo before the name appears in the search results. On other occasions, even after entering that many letters, the name might still not show up, and I have to try searching with just @joh instead.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar allows me to acknowledge my teammates and employees in a meaningful, public way. When someone does something exceptional or goes the extra mile, they truly deserve recognition that not only rewards them but also highlights their efforts to others. With Nectar, I am able to accomplish both of these goals. I have really enjoyed using this platform!

 ### 33. Customizable Shout-Outs That Align Perfectly with Company Goals

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tami T. | Virtual ELA Instructor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar lets you tie your shout-outs directly to corporate goals and the values you want to highlight. It’s also customizable, so you can add GIFs and emojis while acknowledging others’ achievements.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Limiting the number of points you can contribute to a peer can be a drawback, because it can prevent someone from giving Nectar points when they want to.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar provides a venue for staff to encourage, acknowledge, and promote quality work by highlighting the activities and actions performed by others, and how those contributions support the company.

 ### 34. Effortless Recognition with Streamlined Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiffany P. | Lead medical Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like how easy Nectar makes it to recognize coworkers and show appreciation. It simplifies the process and makes recognition accessible, helping to create a more positive and connected work environment. Additionally, the setup was very easy and straightforward, and the platform was intuitive to navigate right from the beginning.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

One area for improvement is making the platform more streamlined and intuitive. At times, navigating certain features or finding specific options can take extra time. Improving usability and adding more customization or reward options would make the experience even better.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Nectar to recognize team members and redeem rewards easily, which supports employee engagement and appreciation. It solves the challenge of recognizing and rewarding consistently and meaningfully, making appreciation simple and accessible, creating a positive, connected work environment.

 ### 35. A Personalized, Real-Time Way to Recognize and Thank Colleagues

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kari A. | Special Education Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like that I can give my colleagues real time feedback and something for their help and support! It is a really personalized and awesome way to say thank you! It also feels nice to get recognized as well!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I wish that it didn't send me so many reminders about my streaks.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me to say thank you in a virtual setting since we can't go face to face to thank someone since we are all working from home.

 ### 36. A Great Way to Recognize Teachers with Meaningful Gift Card Rewards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristin J. | Education Interventionist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I am able to recognize teacher for helping with tasks that go above and beyond the call of their role. I also like to know that they can receive monetary rewards they can use personally. The gift card option is a great perk.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The only thing I dislike is that I have to reauthenticate the computer I use every time.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar helps me recognize teacher who I don't get to have personal interactions with on a regular basis.

 ### 37. User-Friendly Employee Shoutouts with Easy Point Cash-Out

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** LeAnn G. | Solutions Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Our company utilizes Nectar for employee shoutouts and allows us to give and receive points for shoutouts that can then be used for prizes/gifts. Its very user friendly and cashing out points is very easy.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Can't think of anything at this time - it works great for our team.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar helps us give employees the proper recognition for their hard work and it benefits all of us to see the impact from our teamwork

 ### 38. Effortless Appreciation and Fun Recognition with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julie S. | Claims Adjuster, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like how easy it is just to send a quick thank you or show my appreciation to a coworker. Its fun to include the gifs to add a little extra pizazz! I like that a notification is sent both via Teams and our email letting us know we have received a shoutout, and especially the email reminder before the months end so we don't forget to send our shout outs. Additionally, i do like that we are able to personalize our shoutouts and don't have to stick with just the company hashtags.
I had one issue with trying to cash out Nectars before the holidays last year, but the support team was quick and thorough and very helpful in helping me track down the issue and cash in my points.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

If there is a downside, and this might be operator error, but I wish there was a way to look back through our own nectar shoutouts we've received, just if we need a little pick-me-up someday.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It benefits me, obviously, when I receive Nectars. Many Chipotle burrito bowls have been purchased, even a matching sister tattoo, courtesy of Nectars! I also enjoy sending little shout outs to my coworkers, in hopes of brightening their days!

 ### 39. A Tangible, Rewarding Way to Appreciate Colleagues

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arturo Z. | Business Development Graduate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I enjoy using Nectar because it gives me a tangible way to thank my colleagues. On the other hand, it also makes me feel appreciated when I work hard on a project and then get rewarded with Nectar points from my managers.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I don't have any downside to report on as of current

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem Nectar solves is motivating employees to work hard for each other. For example, I know that if I go out of my way to help one of my colleagues with a project they’ve assigned me, I’ll receive some form of reward. I can then redeem it for a coffee or save it up for something larger.

 ### 40. Nectar HR Makes Peer Recognition Effortless with Smooth Slack and Teams Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amit S. | Bid Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar HR does a great job of bridging the gap between peer recognition and tangible rewards, thanks to its smooth integrations with Slack and Teams. I found it highly intuitive and budget-friendly, making it a strong fit for small-to-mid-sized companies that want to build and maintain a consistent culture of appreciation.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

The social feed can quickly turn into a “popularity contest,” where back-office or more introverted employees are often overlooked. On top of that, the high monthly platform fees and the “point inflation” can make the rewards feel less meaningful, especially compared with the effort it takes to earn them.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us feel like we’re all on the same team, and that we can appreciate each other.

 ### 41. User-Friendly Employee Recognition That Strengthens Team Connections

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elvis M. | Clinical Laboratory Technologist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar is a user-friendly application that connects employees with one another, both within and outside my workspace. The points-based matrix is instrumental in making this happen because it motivates employees through team building and by letting us redeem points at different outlets of our choice. The variety of outlets available for using points is another reason I like the application. I’ve also connected with many of my colleagues through Nectar by celebrating their birthdays, work anniversaries, and the accomplishments they’ve achieved.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Personally, I wouldn’t say there’s anything I dislike about the application. That said, there are still some areas for improvement, particularly around the app’s interface and revising the points-based matrix so it’s more achievable and easier to use across different outlets.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar is helping solve challenges around networking and employee motivation within my organization. As employees connect through different accomplishments, it strengthens a culture of team-building and cohesion, and supports a safe, healthy work environment. Because people are able to network more, they also have the added benefit of earning points that can be redeemed at different outlets at any time, which further boosts employee motivation and morale.

 ### 42. A Great Way to Get to Know Colleagues and Receive Positive Feedback as a New Employee

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carol G. | Client Relationship Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

As someone who is new to a company, it's a great way to learn who your colleague's are and what they do. It's also really great to start a job and right away have your colleagues give you feed back in a positive way after only being here a short time.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Nothing that I can think of right now. I think it's a good system.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't know that I would say it's solving problems and much as it prevents them through team building. It's always fun to see your co workers reactions to things and get the email in your own inbox that you've been recognized. It's also a great way to underscore the values of our company since we use them with a # for each time we send points to our coworker.

 ### 43. Great for Peer Recognition

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jarnai L. | 5th Grade Supervisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Nectar allows colleagues to recognize and highlight positive interactions with one another which boosts morale within the workplace.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I dislike the leaderboard on Nectar. It seems more like a popularity contest when those who are more well-known receive points and are highlighted for all to see.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar encourages staff to look for opportunities to provide genuine commendation. This helps me seek out the positive things that are happening each day and motivates me to help others.

 ### 44. Fast, Rewarding Recognition with Instant Gift Card Redemptions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan G. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like that I feel rewarded for going above and beyond in my work. I used to do it simply because of my work ethic, but now I also earn rewards that I can redeem for gift cards or other cool things.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There's nothing I really dislike about it. I think it works well and I usually get the rewards within minutes of redeeming.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It creates greater incentive to foster a collaborative environment among coworkers.

 ### 45. Strengthens Teamwork and Camaraderie Among Coworkers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian B. | Economics Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

It helps build camaraderie among your coworkers and strengthens the sense of teamwork.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Sometimes I run out of time and, when I’m really busy, I don’t have the chance to write out shoutouts. I just wish the points could roll over to the next week or even the next month.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I mainly write shout-outs during team-building professional development sessions and in special circumstances that justify them. Some weeks go by when I don’t really have a reason to leave one.

 ### 46. Appreciative and Meaningful Recognition!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

For a small amount of money, we are incentivized to say thank you. Given a limited budget of thank you credits and default public nature adds meaning to the reach out. The interface is fast and easy to use, making small familiarity with social media the only requirement. My last place handed out thank you cards to try to achieve the same effect and it didn't take hold in the corporate culture like Nectar.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I've not run into any issues. The interface is fast and responsive and AI is used to make sure that your thank you is complete.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's making the corporate culture more appreciative, and connecting the overall goals by having those as hashtags.

 ### 47. Easy Recognition and Reward System with Great Redemption Options

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natalie R. | Customer Care Embracer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like being able to shout out a recognition and give a gift of points. I also have a wide range of items available to redeem. It's easy to use with Teams and easy to learn how to use it. The interactive challenges that companies can do also make it fun. I log in daily. I also like how it integrates with our survey and allows customers to provide an incentive they would like to recognize us with if they feel like we went above and beyond.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

There's not anything I dislike, it would be cool to set up my personal email to receive my redemption rewards instead of my work email but it's not a big deal.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employee and engagement. We are able to receive immediate feedback on how well we are doing and challenge each other to do better. Recognition is also fun since you can donate your points awarded to give out to those you were helped by or want to give an extra recognition to.

 ### 48. Great Employee Recognition with Meaningful Incentives

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer R. | Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like that as employees, we are able to recognize each other's accomplishments and I LOVE that we get incentives for personal use such as gift cards, etc. I think thats a great way to show employee's appreciation.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I dislike that the amount of points we get is very low and its hard to accumulate enough to use them.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nectar is helping with making employees feel a little more appreciated and it is benefiting our motivation to gain more nectar points.

 ### 49. A Fantastic Way to Recognize and Appreciate Each Other

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Natalie O. | Supervisor of Registrars, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

I like that we’re able to recognize one another. People like to feel appreciated, and this is a really great way to show our appreciation.

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

Nothing!!! I love everything about it. I just wish my employer would give us more points to give out!

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the lack of face to face appreciation that is apart of an in person company. Being virtual, Nectar allows us to appreciate and keep that momentum of recognition alive on the daily.

 ### 50. Simple to Use, Great for Recognizing and Rewarding Team Efforts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arturo P. | Branch Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Nectar?**

Very simple to use and a great way to recognize and reward the efforts of our team members!

**What do you dislike about Nectar?**

I have none so far. There are good products.

**What problems is Nectar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to recognize and reward our team member's efforts.
