I like that Navan is easy to use and has the same discounts or better than other booking websites. I like the link between my personal and business accounts and the overlap in the reward system. I also love how quickly Navan clearly communicates the reinbursement process for expenses not on my corporate card. It lets me know when the transaction is officiallly approved and the exact date the funds will be sent on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We only get reinbursement payments once a week and it usually takes a day or two from when Navan sends the reinbursement funds for them to register in my bank. I know this isn't something fully on their end but would be awesome if that transaction was more instant and I didn't have to wait until every Monday for funds to be reinbursed. Navan has been highly effective in simplifying the organization-employee spend management process. I particularly like the ability to manage spending policies and caps, provide controlled direct spending options, and streamline reimbursement workflows within a single platform. It would also be helpful if some of the approval and reimbursement processes were a bit more streamlined, especially for unique or less common expense scenarios. Some configurations are inconsistent between different types of policy (discretionary, on trip, off trip, etc.). There are too many notifications for approvers, and it doesn’t seem possible to configure them properly. It’s also not possible to set up validation steps: the primary and secondary approvers are notified at the same time, but my CEO wants me to review her team’s expenses before she does. The mobile app and process for submitting Expenses is a huge improvement over our previous solution. It is very easy to use, has excellent receipt recognition features, and has significantly reduced the time and effort required to complete expenses by more than 50%. The drag-and-drop interface saves me hours each week. The pricing is very comprehensive and lower than other platforms, saving me and my company monies.
