I use Navan to book travel for my job, including airfare, hotels, rental cars, and even my personal travel. I see it as an employee benefit. I like the easy-to-use interface and the great deals they offer. I appreciate how it brings consistency and clear expectations to booking travel, allowing me to consolidate all travel bookings in one place. Nothing... there is not a value proposal compare with others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)? The platform is extremely inflexible. Making any change to a booking takes far too long — sometimes hours — to the point that it’s easier to cancel and rebook from scratch, which is inefficient and costly. For example, with AVE/RENFE in Spain, I can’t make changes either at the station or via Navan. The app claims it’s RENFE’s limitation, which isn’t true — booking directly with RENFE allows changes. Another major pain point is flight bookings. I’m forced to book flights through Navan, but the booking details are often incomplete or incorrect. When flying to Barcelona, I frequently can’t check in online because the system either doesn’t recognize the locator or provides invalid ticket info. This results in unnecessary time wasted at airport counters. This is, hands down, the worst travel experience I’ve had. I will only continue using it because it’s mandatory at my company, but I would never recommend it to anyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you? Navan is intended to centralize and control corporate travel bookings, giving managers visibility over expenses and enforcing travel policies. In theory, this should simplify processes and ensure compliance. However, in my experience, the platform fails to deliver those benefits. Instead of solving problems, it creates new ones: it makes changes difficult or impossible, delays bookings, and forces users into inefficient workflows. While I understand the goal of centralization, the lack of flexibility and poor integration with local providers like RENFE or certain airlines significantly reduces any real benefit for me as an end user.
