Who is Navan (Formerly TripActions) pricing best suited for?

Navan (Formerly TripActions)'s pricing is best suited for mid-market companies (51–1,000 employees) seeking a free, self-serve travel and expense platform, as G2 reviewers from this segment dominate positive feedback and frequently cite ease of adoption and policy enforcement as key benefits. Small businesses under 300 employees get strong value from the free Business tier with no upfront cost. Navan (Formerly TripActions)'s Enterprise tier targets large organizations needing negotiated rates, dedicated support, and global coverage, with G2 enterprise reviewers in consulting, IT, and manufacturing noting the value of centralized visibility and custom implementation despite occasional complaints about pricing competitiveness versus direct booking.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Navan (Formerly TripActions)?

According to G2's pricing data for Navan (Formerly TripActions), the Business tier is free for companies up to 300 employees and includes global travel inventory, unlimited policy workflows, direct accounting integrations, 24/7 support, HRIS integrations, and expense management with receipt scanning. Navan (Formerly TripActions)'s paid Enterprise tier, priced via custom quote, adds unlimited travelers, global program coverage, a dedicated account executive, a customer success manager, custom implementation, corporate negotiated rates, and enterprise-grade back-office capabilities. G2 reviewers note that the free Business tier covers most core needs for smaller teams, while Enterprise unlocks dedicated support and negotiated pricing critical for large-scale organizations.

Is Navan (Formerly TripActions) considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers are divided on Navan (Formerly TripActions)'s value. Many praise the all-in-one travel and expense platform, AI receipt scanning, rewards program, and 24/7 support as strong differentiators, with mid-market users frequently citing time savings and policy compliance as clear wins. However, a recurring complaint across G2 reviews is that flight and hotel prices are often higher than booking directly with airlines or hotels, and per-trip booking fees (cited as $20–$30) add up for frequent travelers. Reviewers who switched from Concur rate Navan (Formerly TripActions) highly by comparison. Overall, G2 users view it as good value for consolidation and compliance, less so for raw price competitiveness.

"Effortless Trip Planning, Proposal Process Needs Work"

5/5

What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?

I really like that everything is done in one platform with Navan (Formerly TripActions). It manages our expenses effortlessly; I just upload a receipt when needed, and the expense reporting is great because I don't have to do much else. Booking my flights, hotel, and car all in one place is convenient, and I also appreciate being able to view different prices and options that are available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?

The proposal process is kind of a pain, taking a long time to put together. Once submitted to my supervisor for review, I cannot delete it or edit it. If I need to add anything to the trip, I have to submit another proposal. So the whole proposal process can be worked on. Through the app, I could never get the proposal processed to actually submit. I would go through choosing the flight and everything, but I can't get the proposal to actually submit. I then have to go and rebuild everything through the desktop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Navan (Formerly TripActions):

It is so much easier than using other travel apps like Travelocity and Expedia. I use TripActions primarily for business, but will be using it for my personal travel as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Navan to book my entire trip itinerary on one platform and share it with my family easily. It also manages our expenses, where I just upload a receipt when needed. I can book flights, hotels, and cars in one place and view different prices and options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unreliable App with Confusing Interface and Booking Limitations"

0/5

What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?

Nothing that makes the app stand out in a positive manner, sadly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?

- Reliabilty and stability of the app is quite disappointing

- Too often have I experienced issue with the login or not being able to access the web app

- Unflexible when booking for colleagues from other teams with different cost centres

- Poor and misleading interface with confusing wording for options, if at all

- Cannot continue to book on the basis of drafts as modifications aren't possible Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?

We actually moved away from travelperk due to inflexible and glitchy interface. Sadly, Navan has turned out to be an even worse option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
