What problems is MIE Trak Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?

MieTrak was supposed to provide an all in one solution for accounting and operations so that that my client could get away from spreadsheets to track WIP and inventory. My client spent a almost one hundred thousand dollars paying for implementation, operating, support and accounting fees and never got a system up and going. Support did not know how to finish the implementation, and charged the client additional support fees for calling with questions and requests. Kick off date kept getting delayed but when it was finally made the account of record, there were so many holes in the accounting that the client hired us to help and we found out on a call with the owner that the prior year had not been imported properly, and had not been closed out by the implementation team. Then he asked us to send him trial balances so that he could try to fix the issue with the balances that changed, and the other issues we brought up such as reconcilation issues, issues with prepayments on invoices, and many other operational issues. We agreed that he would meet with us the following week, after he had a chance to review and fix the issues we addressed, but he showed up late to the meeting, and did nothing to review or correct the issues we presented in the prior meeting. My client was extremely patient and accomodating, but MieTrak did nothing to help the software become operational. I did not recommend this software to my client and will never recommend this software to any client in the future. It was literally a disaster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about MIE Trak Pro?

SQL Based, Dashboard creation, ability to rename fields. We have been able to create custom Microsoft PowerApps for interfacing special processes along with building some complexDevExpress Reports and Dashboards. Recommendations to others considering MIE Trak Pro:

Hire or dedicate someone for 6-12 months to help get things setup. Make sure you have a firm understanding on the variables and formulas you will use to quote along with having your burdened machined and employee rates in order. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is MIE Trak Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?

We were able to greatly improve out customer and vendor On Time Delivery through building shared dashboards showing critical data and KPIs to everyone in the company. We have starting using monitors on the factory floor for each department to help with scheduling. We also have been able to maximize our margins thru custom built Microsoft PowerApps that interface with MieTrak. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about MIE Trak Pro?

I enjoyed the ability to submit tickets and get immediate responses from programmers or technicians all willing to help resolve issues. From an HR perspective the ERP system dows not work for the HR space , from an operational standpoint , my operations and production teams enjoy the ease of use and can easily train employees on how to use the system. What do you dislike about MIE Trak Pro?

We tried to use Mie trak in the time and attendance space,they could not build out the software to provide some much-needed restrictions on 30-minute lunch periods which was allowing people to clock in before their lunch period was up. All other time and attendance modules can block an hourly employee from clocking in before their 30-minute lunch time is up. This helps to avoid meal premiums. Whatever you need Mie Trak is willing to work with you on. The initial set-up was done excluding certain modules and as we have grown they have been outstanding at helping us bring the other modules online.
