Microsoft Word is fairly user-friendly. If you have never used a computer type software to write an essay or something, this is the program that you want. It is easily downloadable and free and it will help with your spelling and proofreading. All of the function buttons are easily laid out at the top of the screen, and you don’t have to go looking for them, which is a waste of time if you do, but Microsoft Word does not make you do that. This program requires or heavily encourages someone to have a Microsoft Outlook account, depending on whether it’s online use or off-line use. Sometimes people don’t need another email or need another account and that is Annoying. It is also expensive when purchased with the Microsoft outlook suite and unless you are in school and are provided with it for free, this is a major downside.
