"Industry-Standard Collaboration That Makes Reviews Smooth and Reliable"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Word?

The collaboration tools are the biggest standout for me. Being able to use “Track Changes” and “Comments” while working on a contract or a financial report makes the review process feel incredibly smooth and straightforward. It’s the industry standard for a reason: I never have to worry about whether a client or vendor will be able to open my files, or whether the formatting will still hold up the way I intended. What do you dislike about Microsoft Word?

Handling large images or more complex layouts can be a bit of a nightmare. At times, nudging a single photo even a fraction of an inch can throw off the alignment of the entire document, which is especially frustrating when I’m trying to finalize a professional report. On top of that, it can feel a bit heavy, and it sometimes loads slowly compared with simpler cloud-based text editors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An essential and reliable tool for daily work"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Word?

I use Word every day in a work context and for me it is a truly essential tool. It allows me to create professional documents in a simple, fast, and organized way, helping me to easily manage everything related to daily work. In the business field, it is indispensable because it allows for the quick creation of reports, communications, reports, and important documents while always maintaining a professional appearance. I greatly appreciate the ease of use, the numerous available functions, and the fact that it manages to simplify even the most complex tasks, saving me time every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Word?

Even though I use Microsoft Word every day and consider it an essential tool for my work, there are some aspects that I think could be improved. Sometimes, especially with heavier documents or those rich in elements, it can be a bit slow. Additionally, some advanced functions are not always immediately easy to find and require a few extra steps. In certain cases, even the automatic formatting can change parts of the text unintentionally, causing time to be lost in corrections. Overall, however, these are minor details, because Word remains an extremely useful, professional, and reliable software for daily use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I particularly like that there is a preset library of styles that I can use to quickly switch between typing titles, headers and body texts. I also like the ability to insert citations as I write and generate a references table at the end. Its really helpful because I do not have to remember all the sources I cited. One other thing I really appreciate is the review mode that tracks changes because It has really enhanced my collaborative ability Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Word?

I feel like ability to make a specific page a different orientation could be made a lot easier. Some users in our company really struggle with it and can not consistently do it by themselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like the most about Microsoft Word is its ability to preview typefaces before applying them, supporting cloud typefaces, and leaving the text formatting allowing for a versatility of templates and format conversion. It's the industry standard for a reason because Microsoft Word Pioneered document writing and is available for Windows, MacOS, ChromeOS, and the Internet. "Easy to Use and Efficient—Spell Check and Templates Are Lifesavers"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Word?

There are many things I like about MS Word. First, it’s very easy to use, and I like its features too, which make working on it really efficient. I use Word to create reports and resumes, and to do my college projects. Features like spell check and templates are real lifesavers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Word?

The lag and overall slowness when I’m working on a big project or handling large documents are really annoying. Another issue is that the Microsoft 365 subscription price feels a bit expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Microsoft Word: Intuitive, Powerful Formatting, and Universally Compatible"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Word?

As a Microsoft Word user for many years, I find it the go-to platform: easy to use and compatible across all operating systems. The layout is intuitive and simple, but it has the power to allow me to design and process documents which look sleek and cover all the information I need to share.

I also really value the formatting control. Styles, headings, tables, tracked changes, comments, it’s all there and it’s powerful. When I’m collaborating with teams, the ability to review, edit, and refine content properly is a big deal.

Another thing I appreciate is familiarity. Everyone knows Word. That might sound basic, but from a business perspective, it matters. You can send a document to almost anyone and know they can open it, edit it, and work with it. That universal accessibility makes it a safe, dependable tool in any organisation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Word?

What I dislike about Microsoft Word is that it can sometimes feel more complicated than it needs to be. The formatting can suddenly go rogue, especially when you’re copying and pasting from different sources. You think you’re in control, and then spacing, fonts, or numbering start behaving oddly.

There are so many features tucked away in menus, you have to go hunting, especially when an update comes along, things move! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Works Great with Excel for Fast, Polished Report Writing"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Word?

As a data analyst, Word allows me to write up reports from the numbers that I was analysing. It works very well with Excel, enabling me to copy tables, charts and many other visualisations for my reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Word?

There are too many formatting features to toggle around. It is also difficult for me to set the format in which I want all new documents to start in. For example setting the font type, size, headings etc. When I start a new document it makes me sort that out again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
