Patients rarely use portals, and EHRs were not designed to support the full patient journey. Mend solves both challenges by giving outpatient mental and behavioral healthcare organizations a fully integrated patient engagement platform that makes it easier for people to enter care, stay connected, and follow through with treatment. **What do you like best about Mend?**

Mend allows me to meet with the provider of my choice, at the date and time convenient to me. I have mobility issues, so being able to use Mend to meet with my doctors from home gives me access to care I may not otherwise be able to receive. The quality of the connection makes the visit almost as good as being there in person.

**What do you dislike about Mend?**

I have not had any issues during the several years that I have been using the platform.

**What problems is Mend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, I can meet with any provider from my home. For a provider, their client base would not be limited by the geographical area of their office, or the need to rent an office.

**What do you like best about Mend?**

I really like that I can securely attend private appointments from my home with Mend, eliminating the distance barrier and transportation problems. The web page structure is user-friendly yet technologically advanced enough to be ample. The initial setup was 'easy peasy,' and I find it to be a significant improvement over the previous platform we used, including Zoom. I am also really happy with the transition and would definitely recommend it to others.

The photo or file section of the chat box for sending txt or links files, or photos could be simplified.

**What problems is Mend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mend solves the distance barrier and transportation problems by allowing me to securely attend private appointments from home.

**What do you like best about Mend?**

Chad Gunneville is a patient, focussed listener who reminds me of ideas and feelings that he has previously brought up.  Be mindful. Be patient. Breath.  Understand that anger usually comes from sadness.  But most of all it is his empathy.  He is genuinely curious about my situation.  My state of mind.  I can't imagine doing what he does every day!  Break Break.  I just had a moment with Chad.  This guy was counseling young poor kids in Oakland!  His training landed him there.  Some of those kids were soooo in need of therapy.  I just happened to ask Chad in passing about that.  Woah.  I have always considered him to be an amazing dude, but learning this elevates his status to 'heroic'.

**What do you dislike about Mend?**

Can't think of anything right now.  For me, Mend is all about finding and retaining therapists with Chad's background.  I have known all along how patient and kind he is, but now I know some of his training, and just a little awestruck.  So whatever you did to find Chad, that is the secret sauce.

personal therapist. Reducing stress to manageable levels. Chad recommended mindfulness meditation, and that is interacting very powerfully with his guidance.

It was a video conference and I think talking to a provider in-person would be more beneficial.

They are probably going to get me to make a doctor's appointment for a checkup for the first time in over fifteen years and I'm sure this will prove beneficial to my health in ways I cannot even begin to imagine.

The nurse practitioner, Mary Beth was thorough and asked questions that led to helpful and informative issues that will positively affect my future health. I was lucky to have her assistance for a whole hour!

Everything was fine except I had to change my browser so I could have a camera and mic to complete the interview with the nurse. They said I can go back to my old browser.

I like the visual quality the most about Mend. And also I like the ability to test my microphone before the visit. Everything is testable and quality is sensationable.

There's nothing I don't like about this app. Everything works fine and is easily usable. Best quality for what we're dealing with. I've never had a problem with Mend. Keeping up with the times I believe men will keep up with what we need in our communications needs.

Mend allows me to stay in the comfort of my home. I can clearly communicate with my doctor just as if I was sitting in her office. There is no lagg or interference during the call and theres always a clear picture. It is extremely easy to use. It gives you clear instructions to follow for testing your device. I've used Mend many times and it's always been wonderful!

**What do you dislike about Mend?**

When you click on the link to log in it asks for your DOB to verify who you are. Sometimes, even though I entered it correctly it tells me the DOB doesn't match their records. I'm always able to close out of it and click back on the link and get logged in.

**What problems is Mend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mend saves me money as it is free and I don't have to spend money on fuel. Mend also helps keep my family safe from viruses because you can use Mend to see a physician even for urgent care.

It was so convenient to do the interview/wellness check over video chat. I felt like he listened and was very relatable. I felt comfortable telling him about personal mental health issues.

I didn't understand the appointment time, so I thought it was at 8:00. It worked out just fine, though. Super simple to follow the link and join the video call.

Not being able to connect with a patient when wanting to go into a visit at the time I'm able to. It can be tough to navigate if the patient is late or doesn't know how to use it well and gets disconnected; I cannot get them back on.

Mend solves the problem of patients being unable to reach our clinics or too ill to come into the office. It benefits us by bringing us closer to our patients and allowing us to help those who may not have any other ways of getting the help they need.

**What do you like best about Mend?**

Connecting with the patient is quick and easy.  You can customize the waiting area in order for the patients to have pertinent information needed for the appointment.  I also like being able to share screens and give examples on video.

**What do you dislike about Mend?**

There are not many things about mend that I don't like.  Of course with anything, if there is a poor connection then it takes a while to communicate what is necessary with the patient.

Mend is solving that gap in patient care that was created when the pandemic hit.  All of the patients still need care and medication management even though the world shut down.  It makes communication more secure.

Ease of use.  The app required no downloads of 3rd Party SW, or any special knowledge on my part.  Zero learning curve and very little set up and use.

I honestly have no complaints.  Everything worked as it should have and the process was easy to complete.  

No improvements I can think of.

Conducting a video call to a random person was made very easy and took very little time!

Whenever I I save time it means increased performance.  This increases the business productivity.

Mend is really easy and simple to use and anyone can do it.Easy access to Mend and helping out the providers.

Sometimes when I click on the wrong state, it takes a while to refresh for me to be able to pick the correct state to input the patient's info.

It is easier than you think. I figured it out without much support.
