## ManageEngine Endpoint Central Reviews
 ### 1. Helpful Endpoint Management Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jack W. | System administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

ManageEngine Endpoint Central support has been very helpful when troubleshooting issues. What I appreciate most is that they are willing to review logs and investigate the problem instead of immediately pointing the finger at Microsoft or another vendor. That approach makes the support process feel more collaborative and productive, and it helps us get closer to the actual root cause instead of wasting time going in circles.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Sometimes an Endpoint Central update can unexpectedly break certain features, such as remote control. This has happened before where the issue turned out to be related to the agent, and the recommended fix was to reinstall the agent on the client machine.

The challenge is that many of our clients are offsite, and we rely on Endpoint Central specifically for remote support. So when the remote control feature is impacted and the fix requires reinstalling the agent locally, it creates a difficult situation. It would be helpful if agent repair or recovery options were more reliable and easier to perform remotely.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ManageEngine Endpoint Central helps us with auto patching and remote control, which are very useful for managing endpoints and supporting users remotely.

However, for software deployment, I do not feel it can fully replace PDQ Deploy yet. The experience has been inconsistent for us. For example, earlier today I tried to install Adobe Reader on a PC through the self-service portal, but the installation failed. This has been an on-and-off issue for a long time.

Overall, Endpoint Central is beneficial for patching and remote support, but I would like to see software deployment become more reliable and consistent.

 ### 2. Impressive Features and Fast, Clear Support Resolutions

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Srikanth C. | Admin & Finance Execute, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Most of the features available in ManageEngine are truly impressive because of their uniqueness and performance. Especially when we raise a support case, the team provides a clear resolution and explains the root cause of the issue within a day, which is very helpful. Features like remote control, BitLocker management, and inventory management are extremely useful and have significantly reduced and saved a lot of my time.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

When trying to connect remotely through ManageEngine Endpoint Central, sometimes the remote session does not connect and it keeps showing “Sending request to agent.” However, if I cancel the session and try again immediately, it connects successfully. I face this issue around 2 to 3 times a day.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ManageEngine Endpoint Central has been very helpful for me in managing all assets from a single console. It allows me to easily deploy software, push patches, perform Windows updates, remotely connect to end-user systems to resolve issues, and encrypt disks. Managing all these activities from one centralized console has made administration much easier and more efficient.

 ### 3. Phenomenal Automated Patch Management That Keeps Endpoints Secure

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chaitanya D. | IT Head, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

"The automated patch management feature is phenomenal. It takes the heavy lifting out of keeping Windows, Mac, Linux, and third-party applications up to date. The automation policies ensure our endpoints are secure without requiring constant manual intervention from our IT staff."

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

"Because the platform is so incredibly feature-rich, the user interface can often feel cluttered and overwhelming. The learning curve is quite steep for new administrators, and it takes a significant amount of training to figure out where some of the more advanced settings and configurations are buried."

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

"The biggest problem Endpoint Central solves for us is managing a distributed, hybrid workforce. Previously, we struggled with keeping remote devices compliant and updated. Now, we can deploy patches, manage software, and troubleshoot hardware issues without requiring users to connect to the corporate VPN. This benefits us by significantly reducing our IT support overhead and eliminating the need to juggle multiple disparate endpoint management tools."

 ### 4. Manage Engine Endpoint Central: Feature-Rich Endpoint Management Made Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karunaagaran N. | Senior Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2026

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Manage Engine Endpoint Central is one of the best tools for managing end-user systems. It includes multiple features that help me manage the entire asset base in my organization. For example, if any user is facing an issue, I can access their system remotely and resolve it. It also supports disk encryption using BitLocker, patch updates, and software deployment. That's why i like the end point Central.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Patch pushing isn’t working properly. Sometimes it takes a huge amount of time to apply. The remote option also doesn’t work at times: it shows "request send to agent," but nothing happens. If I click cancel and then try again, it works.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In our company, each asset is located in different places, so it was difficult to manually connect to each system and troubleshoot issues, which involved a lot of manual work. That’s why we chose Endpoint Central. Now, most of our tasks are handled through Endpoint Central, such as software deployment, disk encryption, and patch management.

 ### 5. Efficient and Reliable Endpoint Management Made Simple

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ken Q. | Technical Support Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

What I like most is that it makes my work easier. I can manage all the computers from one place instead of doing things one by one. Patching, monitoring, and deploying software is much faster and more convenient. It really helps save time and reduces manual effort.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

I don’t like is that sometimes patch deployment can fail with unclear errors, which makes troubleshooting a bit time-consuming. There are also cases where the status in the console is not updated immediately, so it’s hard to know if everything is completed.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ManageEngine Endpoint Central helps solve the problem of managing many computers manually. Without it, tasks like patching, updating software, and monitoring systems would take a lot of time and effort.
Overall, it saves time, reduces manual work, and makes IT operations much more efficient

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IT teams often end up using different tools for patching, security, asset tracking, and remote support. That fragmentation creates unnecessary complexity, drives up costs, and leaves poor visibility across the environment.

Endpoint Central addresses this with unified endpoint management (UEM) from a single console, letting teams manage Windows, Mac, Linux, and mobile devices together. From a UI/UX perspective, having everything in one place makes day-to-day administration more consistent and easier to follow.

A common challenge is simply not knowing what devices exist or what they’re running, which leads to unmanaged endpoints and, ultimately, security risks. The solution here is real-time asset inventory and monitoring, with full visibility into hardware, software, and usage mapping. The AI/intelligence angle is the real-time insights and analytics that help turn inventory data into something actionable.

Unpatched systems are the #1 cause of breaches & ransomware, and manual patching is both slow and error-prone. Endpoint Central’s approach is automated patch management for both the OS and applications, supported by AI-driven threat detection plus vulnerability scanning and remediation. With AI/intelligence focused on predictive threat detection, the practical outcome is faster patch cycles and less downtime.

When devices are spread across locations, networks, and users, remote management and support becomes difficult. The platform’s remote monitoring and control works across LAN, WAN, cloud, and remote setups, and includes secure remote troubleshooting tools. A central dashboard improves remote management from a UI/UX standpoint, while support and onboarding benefit from faster remote issue resolution. Performance-wise, this translates into less downtime for employees.

Many routine tasks—patching, software deployment, and reporting—are repetitive and time-consuming. An automation-first platform helps by automating patch deployment, software installation, and reporting workflows, which improves performance through faster execution and fewer manual errors.

There’s also the ongoing difficulty of meeting standards such as GDPR and ISO. Built-in compliance reports, policy enforcement, continuous monitoring, and audit-ready data help reduce the manual effort needed to stay aligned.

Finally, multiple tools plus manual work typically means higher cost, and low efficiency leads to poor ROI. Consolidating tools and leaning on automation improves asset utilization and helps bring costs under control.

 ### 7. Endpoint Central’s Remote Control Shines with Powerful Deployment Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ibrahim M. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

I like the Endpoint Central features such as remote control, software deployment, BitLocker, and patch deployment. The remote control feature, in particular, is very attractive to me because it lets me hide the user’s screen for security purposes, share files, and prevent mouse and keyboard access. That’s why I like these features.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

While pushing patches it takes too much of time some time it works properly but most of the times it takes large time that's the thing only i dislike.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

End users are locating multiple sites so support persons are facing lot of issues that's why we needed one managing tool managing all company assets so we choosed Endpoint Central tool. After configured Endpoint central we saved lot of time that was previously sent on travel.

 ### 8. Endpoint Central: Powerful All-in-One Endpoint Management with an Easy, Responsive UI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Endpoint Central gives us a lot of functionality in one product. Imaging computers and installing Windows updates has become much easier. The ability to install BIOS updates is also useful.

We like that we can give users admin access to specific apps when needed without having to give them full admin rights on the computer.

Software deployment is relatively easy. There a quite a lot of predefined software packages. Creating our own software packages isn't too difficult.

We have found managing BitLocker is much easier than group policy and auto rotation of the BitLocker keys is useful.

Dex has been very helpful in tracking down computer issues. It has allowed us to be more proactive on issues rather than waiting for end users to report on problems.

The inventory tracking has saved us quite a bit of time over our previous tools. It has pulled in all necessary information, including warranty dates, without having to manually create any custom fields.

Lastly the interface is easy to use, and we have found it very responsive.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

The OS deployment feature hasn't been integrated with the software deployment feature. That means either creating software packages in two places or installing software to an imaged computer as a second step once finished.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Endpoint Central is helping with inventory tracking for both hardware and software. While we haven't implemented it yet, we intend to use the DLP and USB storage access features. The Threats & Patches module helps improve security.

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Endpoint Central has a friendly interface, and it lets you apply policies and configurations even if a company doesn’t have a unified Domain Controller. You can also use it to install patches and remotely control registered devices through the installed agent.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Not being able to control the configured refresh cycle is a bit confusing. I also strongly suggest that the online forums and guides related to Endpoint Central be kept continuously updated and clearly explained, and, if possible, include more screenshots so the instructions are easier to follow.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Endpoint Central has helped our company apply many policies that weren’t possible to configure through a Domain Controller. It also resolved the patch management issues we were facing, because it gives us full control and clear visibility into missing, installed, and failed patches across all devices registered in Endpoint Central. On top of that, the dashboards are very rich and genuinely useful for analysis.

 ### 11. All-in-One Endpoint Management in a Single Console

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sakthivel S. | Systems Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2026

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Manage Engine Endpoint Central is one of the best tools for managing end-user assets because it provides multiple features in a single console. For example, if users are facing an issue and I need to take a remote connection, that option is available. If I need to encrypt the disk space used by users, that is also available. I can push patches, install software, and prevent the installation of unauthorized software as well, all within Endpoint Central.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

In Endpoint Central, the patch deployment feature sometimes disappoints me. The main reason is that when I deploy a patch, it can take a huge amount of time. On some systems the patch deploys successfully, but other times it takes an unusually long time to complete.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For remote control, patch deployment, OS deployment, software deployment, asset management, and disk encryption, we were using multiple software tools and licenses. We needed all of these features in a single console, which is why we chose Endpoint Central. After configuring Endpoint Central, it has helped us a lot and has made our job much easier.

 ### 12. Endpoint Central Makes Software Deployment Fast and Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manivasagam M. | IT Executive, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

The main feature I liked in Endpoint Central is software deployment, because it makes it very easy to push an application and install it across systems in the organization, which saves a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Sometimes, when I push patches, it can take around 5 to 7 days for the patch to actually deploy to the end-user systems. There’s no error message indicating that the patch push failed; it just continues to show that it’s trying to push.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our organization has many assets like desktops and laptops, and they frequently receive windows updates. While updating, many systems faced issues, so we planned to first test the patch on one system and, if everything finished worked properly, push it to the remaining systems. Endpoint Central has fulfilled this requirement effectively

 ### 15. Efficient and Easy-to-Use Endpoint Management Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

One of the biggest benefits is that it puts a lot of IT tasks in one place like patching, software installs, remote access, asset tracking, and policy enforcement. So instead of switching between different tools all the time, everything is handled from a single console which saves a lot of time.

Another good thing is the automation. You can schedule updates, push software quietly to multiple machines, and apply policies without doing everything manually. That is really helpful when you are managing a large number of devices and need consistency across the environment.

It also supports different operating systems like Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile devices which makes it useful in mixed environments. And since many people work remotely now, being able to manage both on premise and remote endpoints from the same tool makes it very practical.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

With ManageEngine Endpoint Central, most of the drawbacks are related to complexity rather than missing features. One common point is that the interface can feel a bit cluttered at first. Since the tool includes a lot of different modules like patching, asset management, remote control, compliance, and mobile device management, it takes some time to get familiar with where everything is. In the beginning, finding specific settings is not always very straightforward.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has reduced the time we spend on routine IT tasks, improved patch compliance, and made it easier for us to provide remote support to users. Overall, it helps us keep devices secure and well managed, while allowing the IT team to focus on more important projects.

 ### 16. All-in-One Endpoint Management That Boosts Productivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** irfan s. | IT Support Technician, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2026

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

What I like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central is its all-in-one approach to endpoint management. It makes patch management, software deployment, remote support, and device monitoring simple and efficient, helping reduce manual effort and improve productivity.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

I dislike the occasional synchronization issues between Endpoint Central and the ServiceDesk Plus asset module, which can lead to asset information not being updated accurately. Some advanced configurations can also be complex and require additional troubleshooting.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ManageEngine Endpoint Central helps us centrally manage devices, automate patch deployment, distribute software, and provide remote support. This reduces manual effort, improves security and compliance, and saves time for the IT team, resulting in more efficient endpoint management.

 ### 17. Endpoint Central: All-in-One IT Management with Minimal Ongoing Overhead

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** connor q. | IT Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Endpoint Central comes pre-fitted with many modules, including OS deployment, a self-service portal, software deployment, patch management, asset inventory, remote management, reporting, and more. For our organisation, having a single tool that delivers all of these capabilities to an acceptable standard is invaluable. There is a fair amount of work involved in configuring each module to suit our specific use cases, but once that is in place, the ongoing management overhead is extremely minimal. After that, the main effort is limited to small, intermittent updates, such as adding new software, deploying group-policy-style configurations, and similar changes as needed.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

The product interface feels a bit clunky and never quite achieves a “premium” or “modern” aesthetic. That said, it isn’t a major issue, since the interface is mainly used by administrators.

Out of the box, there’s an intimidating wall of tasks that need to be set up and configured before everything is running smoothly. This includes patch management settings (auto-approving and deploying with test groups), OS deployment (creating a golden image and configuring networking for PXE boot), and software configuration plus the self-service portal. The latter has been significantly streamlined over time thanks to the addition of thousands of templates that Manage Engine have built out since we first implemented the solution.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Endpoint Central boasts an incredibly versatile toolset that addresses more thzn I can fit into a single review. It completely automates and streamlines patch management, software deployment and self-service, provides end-user workstation support and toolsets (remote capabilities, remote command line, inventory details and reporting, and more), OS deployment and configuration, etc.
For the purpose of this review I'll hone in on the end to end deployment and configuration of workstations, which has undoubtedly saved our organisation hours of otherwise menial and repetitive configurations and management.
Using the OS deployment tool, we are able to apply a golden image that already has the Endpoint Central agent installed - using this we can deploy to a blank machine with the major prerequisites already in place; i.e agent installed, domain joined, and an administrator account already pre-loaded for any situations in remote support where cached credentials may be required (Think domain-trust issues and such). This deployment allows the workstation to be already named and loaded into a specific OU in active directory.
The task configurations can vary from browser configurations, software deployments, certification installs, firewall settings, registry changes and more; but most importantly these can be grouped together into custom task configurations that can be targeted based on criteria such as the OU that the PC is based in. This allows us end to end configuration and complete targeted build of the workstation, bar the provisioning of the end-user profile, and frees up what would otherwise be hours of turnaround for staff onboarding/offboarding configurations.

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

I use ManageEngine Endpoint Central for deploying applications across more than 700 laptops and over 200 servers. It has made our work much more efficient, especially with updates and even OS deployments. I really appreciate the support on the subject, and the AI/Agent is a standout feature. It provides me with links and solutions to my queries, and if it's too specific, I can be directed to an agent, which is very helpful. The remote tool is another aspect I find very helpful. We used to use PDQ, which was good, but I find ManageEngine Endpoint Central better. The initial setup was also very easy.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

would be nice to know where we are with deployments, sometimes we dont know where a particular package is in the deployment que or if its being held up

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deploying applications, updates, and OS with ManageEngine Endpoint Central has made handling over 700 laptops and 200 servers efficient. The only issue I have is the UI has some complexity due to having so many tools it is a small learning curve after the initial setup and onboarding.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This solution addresses our need to manage all of our devices from a single pane of glass. It gives us clear visibility into the devices we have and lets us report on those that are still unpatched. We can manage all of our endpoints and keep them current with patches and software updates. Overall, it simplifies our security posture and provides a centralized interface for reporting.

 ### 22. Effortless Centralized Software Deployment and Automatic Quarantine

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mahesh K. | Assistant Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

What I like most about ManageEngine Endpoint Central is the software deployment option because it allows us to easily push software to all endpoints from a centralized console. Even if users install some unwanted software, we can quarantine it through the prohibited software list. If we add any software to the prohibited software list, it automatically quarantines that software, which is very helpful for me.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Sometimes there are issues with pushing patches in ManageEngine Endpoint Central. When I push patches, they get deployed only on some systems, while on other systems it keeps showing as “Pending to Update.” It becomes difficult to identify whether the patch was properly pushed or not, and sometimes it takes more than 7 days to confirm the patch deployment status.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our requirement was to manage all our assets from a single place. Before this, we were using multiple tools separately, such as UltraViewer for remote access, another application for file sharing, and a separate tool for disk encryption. But now, through ManageEngine Endpoint Central, we are able to manage everything easily from a single console. This has improved both our time efficiency and security level.

 ### 23. Single Console Endpoint Management with Automated Patching and Audit-Ready Reporting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** surya k. | Senior System Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2026

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Endpoint Central provides us with a single console to manage and secure all our Windows and Linux endpoints across multiple offices. Automated OS and third-party patch deployment, software rollouts, and remote control have cut down on manual effort for the IT team and helped keep our systems consistently up to date. The built-in hardware and software inventory, together with compliance reporting, also makes it easier to prepare for audits and clearly track what’s installed on each device.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

The interface can feel a little cluttered, and some advanced options are buried under multiple menus, so new admins may need time to get comfortable. Initial agent deployment and configuration for new sites can also be complicated, especially in restricted networks. Reporting is powerful, but it isn’t always intuitive, and creating custom reports or dashboards can take some trial and error. I also notice occasional performance slowdowns when running large patch or inventory jobs.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Endpoint Central addresses the challenge of manually managing patches, software, and configurations across a large number of distributed endpoints. It allows us to keep both servers and user machines current with security updates, roll out standard software builds consistently, and troubleshoot problems remotely without having to visit each desk. As a result, we’ve reduced user downtime, strengthened security compliance, and saved our small IT team many hours of routine maintenance work every month.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

There are a lot of features in the console, so some modules can be confusing at first. It takes time to get used to everything because we need to explore multiple functionalities to find all the options provided.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using a mix of Mac, Ubuntu, and Windows systems, and ManageEngine Endpoint Central allows us to patch all of them from a single platform. And when you have a question, you get easy access to the support by chat, and they can answer my questions about Endpoint Central.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

You have to create a work around to be able to update Windows 11 to the latest service pack.
There is also an overview of threats, but I can't find it easy to check in which update it is added to.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem to keep track of the installed software on the managed devices, and keep them up to date with patches or other updates

 ### 26. All-in-One Endpoint Management That Saves Time and Simplifies Support

**Reviewed by:** Serafin S. | IT Support, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2026

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

I like how it centralizes patch management, software deployment, remote support, and device monitoring into one easy-to-use console. The automation features save significant time, and the remote control capability allows us to support users quickly without disrupting classes. It gives strong visibility and control over all endpoints in one place.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Sometimes the interface feels a bit overloaded, especially when you’re trying to quickly find a specific setting or report. Some configurations take a few extra steps to set up, and troubleshooting failed deployments (like patches not pushing properly) can require digging a bit deeper than expected. Reporting is good, but I often need to customize it to get exactly what I need.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ManageEngine Endpoint Central solves the challenge of managing a large number of devices across different buildings without needing to physically touch each one. In a school environment, we handle laptops, desktops, and tablets daily, and doing updates, installations, and troubleshooting manually would take a huge amount of time.

With Endpoint Central, we can automate patching, deploy software remotely, enforce policies, and provide remote support instantly. This reduces downtime for teachers, keeps devices secure and compliant, and allows our small IT team to manage hundreds of endpoints efficiently.

Overall, it saves time, improves response speed, and gives us better visibility and control over the entire device fleet.

 ### 27. Remote Support and Automated Patching That Deliver Peace of Mind

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rabin S. | System Engineer- IT Incharge Core IT, Banking, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Endpoint Central has transformed our workflow. Two things stand out for me: remote support and patching. Being able to quickly connect to a branch user's desktop and fix issues without traveling saves us so much time, especially when someone is stuck during banking hours. Frequency of use has become the central hub to our IT operations, from morning patch checks to ad-hoc remote troubleshooting throughout the day.
On the patching side, it used to be a manual, risky process to update servers and PCs. This is now automated and scheduled; we can test before deploying. That peace of mind in terms of compliance and security is huge in banking. The implementation was smooth, integration with our existing stack was effortless, and support is always there when we need them. Simple, effective, and worth the cost.

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Honestly, there's not much I dislike but if I had to pick, the reporting could be a bit more flexible, we sometimes need custom compliance reports for internal and external audits, and building those takes a little extra work.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Endpoint Central turned our complex SCCM nightmare into a streamlined, automated workflow. By unifying management for Windows, Mac, and mobile devices, we've moved from reactive firefighting to proactive planning. The 'set it and forget it' automation handles patching and compliance, saving us countless hours and eliminating the need for weekend manual updates

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

If I am going back to the onboarding process, I think these are the three things I somehow dislike about the product. 1. Setting up Endpoint Central can be complex - On our initial deployment and configuration, it required careful planning since without proper set up it can be overwhelming to fully utilize all the features. 2. Interface - While Endpoint Central offers a feature-rich console, it can be less-intuitive for new users navigating advanced settings and reporting. 3. Customization of reports - Although the built-in reports are comprehensive, customizing reports to meet our specific organizational requirements can be somewhat limited.

**What problems is ManageEngine Endpoint Central solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Endpoint central mainly solves our core IT management problems, primarily the endpoint control, manual patching processes and limited visibility into devices across our Organization. By centralizing patch management, software deployment, asset tracking, and remote troubleshooting into one platform, it eliminates the need of multiple tools and reduced administrative overhead.

This thing benefits us by significantly improving efficiency and consistency, especially automated patching which reduces security vulnerabilities and downtime. Also, remote support helps us resolve user issues faster and real time visibility helps with compliance.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

Endpoint Central is the "Swiss Army knife" of IT management, ideal for teams wanting to handle everything from one console.

Best Feature: Comprehensive Patch Management. It automates updates for Windows, Mac, Linux, and 1,000+ third-party apps, which is a massive time-saver.

Ease of Use: Functional but dense. There is a learning curve due to the sheer number of features, but it's very logical once configured.

Implementation: Quick to start. You can deploy agents across a network in minutes, though large global setups require more bandwidth planning.

Support: Excellent accessibility. Their 24/5 live chat is responsive and usually willing to jump on a remote session immediately.

Integration: Seamless if you use ServiceDesk Plus. It turns your ticketing system into a "one-click" fix engine.

Frequency: Daily. It’s a core dashboard for monitoring vulnerabilities and providing remote desktop support.

Verdict: It trades a "slick" modern UI for raw power and deep functionality. It's the best value for money if you want to replace 3 or 4 separate tools with on

**What do you dislike about ManageEngine Endpoint Central?**

One drawback of ManageEngine Endpoint Central is that its user interface can feel cluttered and overwhelming, especially for new users managing large environments. Some advanced features, like custom reports or complex automation scripts, require a learning curve and can be less intuitive. Additionally, while the tool covers most endpoints well, occasional delays or limited functionality in third-party application patching and mobile device management can be frustrating. Overall, it’s powerful, but certain aspects could benefit from a more streamlined and user-friendly design.

ManageEngine Endpoint Central solves several key IT challenges by centralizing and automating endpoint management. It addresses patch management, ensuring all devices are up-to-date and secure; software deployment, reducing manual installation effort; remote troubleshooting, enabling quick support without physically accessing devices; and asset tracking, providing visibility into hardware and software across the organization. For me, this translates into time savings, improved security, and operational efficiency, as I can manage all endpoints from a single console, resolve issues faster, and ensure compliance without juggling multiple tools or processes.
