**What do you like best about Lightyear?**

I really like Lightyear for its billing consolidation, allowing me to make just one payment and forget about tons of bills from different ISPs. It's incredibly useful for quoting new ISP circuits and managing our inventory. There's much less overhead and time spent on paying ISP bills. It also makes quoting for circuits and picking from different quotes much easier. I appreciate having a one-stop shop for all our circuits, and it's great that I can disconnect unused circuits easily. Overall, it makes our life 10 times easier with features like ordering/disconnecting circuits and having all circuits in one table, which is easy to search by location to find the circuits associated with it. No other company does all the things Lightyear does.

I use Lightyear to consolidate billing, saving time on ISP payments and making it easier to get and compare quotes for new circuits. It reduces overhead, simplifies circuit management, and offers a one-stop-shop for all our circuit needs.

**What do you like best about Lightyear?**

Lightyear has been instrumental in helping us streamline and optimize our global ISP services. By leveraging their procurement platform, we’ve significantly reduced the complexity of managing multiple providers across regions worldwide. This has resulted in faster sourcing, improved visibility into contracts and performance, and substantial cost savings. Their solution has enabled us to consolidate processes, negotiate better rates, and ensure consistent service quality worldwide.

The account team is an extension of my organization.

**What do you dislike about Lightyear?**

From my perspective, there is nothing to dislike.  I never have to follow up or ask for an update.  In addition, the portal provides all the necessary information and is very intuitive.

**What problems is Lightyear solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We previously relied on local resources to negotiate ISP contracts, resulting in inconsistent terms and providers that often failed to meet required service levels. This decentralized approach created inefficiencies, higher costs, and performance gaps. With standardized contracting and visibility globally, these problems were virtually eliminated.

Their web portal, inventory management, makes it easy for my team and me to get several quotes simultaneously and centralize them instead of dealing with emails and several different vendor meetings.

I believe there is room for the 1:1 chat feature.

**What do you like best about Lightyear?**

Lightyear is fantastic at getting us competitive, reasonable quotes on time every time we use them. Lightyear gives us the confidence that we are getting the best deals with a white glove experience. It's so lovely to have a whole team on our side dealing with the ISPs. No matter where we need a circuit, Lightyear is there for us!

**What do you dislike about Lightyear?**

Sometimes I get through the quote process, and the address for our unit isn't an option, so I have to email Lightyear to get a quote for that site. It would be nice to have this step at the beginning before we get through the process and have to start over. Usually, this only happens for circuits in Asia, so the address we're typing in could be mistranslated on my end.

**What problems is Lightyear solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're getting a much broader set of quotes very quickly from multiple unique providers that we usually would struggle to obtain from one or two. Lightyear also makes sure all our circuits meet our needs in diversity and speed before presenting them to us, which would not be possible without a service like Lightyear.

**What do you like best about Lightyear?**

I stumbled across Lightyear while painfully sourcing Internet for a new site.  Now any locations that we startup, we simply submit the address on their website and receive many quotes back within a few days.  Alerts are provided throughout the process to know exactly where they're at on finding you that perfect service.  We have used them nationally and they appear to know all of the US markets.  It seems too good to be true and still looking for the catch!

**What do you dislike about Lightyear?**

There is nothing to dislike from Lightyear.  I just wish I would have found them many years ago!

**What problems is Lightyear solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sourcing multiple Internet providers to allow for failover service in markets that we didn't think we had another option.  Now we are confidentally at 99.99999% uptime at all sites which has been a dramatic improvement for our operational success.

**What do you like best about Lightyear?**

Ease of use: the self-service portal is incredibly fast and easy to use, it allows you to request quotes without needing to do more than drop an address or pair of coordinates along with the type of services you require.
Small Business Feel, Corporate Capabilities: lightyear assigns a team to your account to make the process as smooth as possible because carriers are never easy to deal with. Further, after I complained to them over an incompetent PM from the carrier side, they decided to change their model. Now lightyear has a dedicated PM from the carriers who they know and work with. I can speak from the difference of getting a circuit 7 months apart and it is night and day. The first PM I got from the carrier didn't know any of the steps and caused a 30-day delay on the install. My second circuit with the dedicated PM has gone much more smoothly, I'm certain had we not tried spinning it up during the holidays that they could've gotten me lit at an off-net location in 60 days.
Competitive Pricing: my first circuit lightyear was able to undercut the carrier by 33%, my second circuit we didn't have a need to get a second bid when lightyear came back with a very reasonable rate

**What do you dislike about Lightyear?**

Not much that I can think of, I would like to pay for my circuits through lightyear's portal, but the carriers are blocking that because their portals are how I submit my tickets and monitor the connection from their perspective

**Recommendations to others considering Lightyear:**

Save time, money &  headaches with Lightyear its that simple.

**What problems is Lightyear solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I no longer need to 'shop around' for quotes, they handle it all for me. I am using lightyear as an outsourced procurement center and it's awesome! Not having to deal with any of the hassles of getting quotes, contracts or dealing with the carrier has saved me hours at this point.

**What do you like best about Lightyear?**

We attempted working with several telecom agents and learned that the process is painful. Then we found out about Lightyear and gave them a try. It was almost unbelievable, their online quote tool was perfect and the quote prices were all less than the other agents had presented us. After we picked out favorite quote, they helped to negotiate an even lower price with the carrier! Throughout the install, Lightyear was constantly in the loop and basically handled all communications with the carrier for us. Their team is clearly highly experienced.

The carrier made a mistake when installing the circuit. Lightyear immediately worked with the carrier to get everything resolved, which would have been a major waste of time for us to handle ourselves. We are so impressed with the people at Lightyear and would never dream of ordering a circuit with them.

Nothing at all. We are beyond satisfied with all aspects of working with Lightyear.

**What do you like best about Lightyear?**

I've worked with many internet resellers/master agents in the past, and every time I've been let down. When somebody suggested Lightyear, I first thought, "great, another one..." but my opinion quickly changed after talking to the team. The Lightyear team has a stellar vision for what ISP procurement should look like and is executing on that very well. Additionally, the team is comprised of veterans in the telecom industry, which is extremely valuable when trying to find the right person who knows the right person at a behemoth like AT&T. 

Having procured at least ten services through Lightyear, every experience has been better than the last.

**What do you dislike about Lightyear?**

Nothing at all - the development team building their platform is very receptive to our feedback. I'm excited for what they have in store and only wish it could come faster.

We are procuring internet services through Lightyear. Our experience has been much smoother and more streamlined than I've ever experienced.

We run a fast-paced, rapidly expanding business. Lightyear has been able to meet all the deadlines we need, even on short notice. The personal attention you receive from who you work with really helps to make your business feel supported. I know that LightYear is invested in my companies success which is why I will continue to use them and recommend them to anyone in need of their services.

Nothing! Truly a breeze to work with, I only wish they could manage more of my business's essential services!

Lightyear is a game changer for sourcing circuits.

Here is what I love about the platform.
1.	Self-service – no longer the need to follow up and track down a broker to get a competitive price.
2.	Workflow visibility – Lightyear provides complete visibility every step of the way (from quote to install). 
3.	Quote - Side-by-side comparison/transparency of the carriers all in one dashboard.  
4.	Inventory – complete visibility into all your inventory purchased through Lightyear along with expiration dates.

**What do you dislike about Lightyear?**

Not a downside, but for new locations (under construction).  You'll have to message the team through the platform to obtain quotes.

There are several things Lightyear is solving

1.	The fragmented circuit broker market
2.	Workflow visibility 
3.	Inventory / contract visibility

I was impressed with the user interface and the speed at which I was able to get responses from vendors to set up internet in several new offices in a building I am leasing with several other companies in NYC.

**What do you dislike about Lightyear?**

They do not have control over the underlying service provider, which can cause issues, but our experience has been mostly good.

**What problems is Lightyear solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used them to set up internet in a new office building.  It was fast, easy, and price competitive.  The benefit is managing all of our ongoing internet vendors on one easy to use platform.
