## Lever Reviews
 ### 1. Professional, Streamlined, and HR-Focused Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Lever stands out as a highly professional platform, offering an advanced and well-organized workspace for both reporting and tracking candidates. The user roles are distinctly defined, which helps approval workflows run seamlessly. It is clear that the platform was developed with a strong focus on HR needs.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I don’t have any negative thoughts about Lever. If I think really hard, I could say it would be nice if it were a bit more colorful, but that’s honestly not important.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a multinational company, it enabled us to move forward smoothly in our recruitment processes.

 ### 2. Great Overview, But Lead Duplication Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jose A. | Talent Acqusition Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

the best part is just to have the overview in hand

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

duplicate the leads when you are perform sourcing

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the way that we can find the candidates and shows the metrics more accurate in from the visual insights

 ### 3. Great product with some limitations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Courtney K. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

LinkedIn RSC Integration and data explorer add-on. The RSC integration prevents copy/paste to track InMail outreach, and notes made in LIR are mirrored in Lever. The data explorer add on is a game changer for custom reporting. There is a bit of a learning curve but it's not steep, the way the data points are organized is intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

The Standardized Candidate Location update that was presented as a product improvement in Feb 2024 is still malfunctioning over a year later. Lever inputs candidate located in NYC as Ontario; in CHI as Spain, etc. There is no way to update this in bulk myself and engineering has not offered a fix a year later.

The EasyBook links are limited, the ability to share a link by copy/paste is critical for user adoption.

I also dislike that one candidate can be added to a job multiple times. I don't see any use case for one candidate appearing in different pipeline stages for a single job.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever enables the org to centralize candidate information. We leverage the platform to manage the pipeline, track candidate engagement, recruiter performance, and workload balance.

 ### 4. Phenomenal + Integrations are great!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hiba A. | Manager, HRBP & Talent Acquisition, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

It is super user-friendly but the key thing is how it integrates with a lot of hiring websites such as Indeed, LinkedIn etc. and this has helped traction significantly while helping us be more cost effective - because it takes away from the additional sponsoring.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Reporting can be better and user friendly for folks that may not be comfortable interpreting data

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The current automation is great; we are happy Lever is evolving with the times and looking for ways to make our work efficient.

 ### 5. Honest review of Lever (ATS)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tanajit D. | Team Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

The best part of Lever is having so many options to track a candidate's journey from application to the time the offer is accepted.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I won’t say there are downsides. But when searching for correct CVs, I would like to have an option to search by Keyword, so that I can filter the CVs I want which have specific words.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a Hiring Manager, Lever provides me with the list of candidates who applied for the position on a single 'Candidates" tab. I can also see how the Applicant applied, whether through the job portal or through a referral. It also has different options to segregate candidates whom I have already reached out to, who have responded to my email, or whom I have already interviewed. If there are candidates who aren’t fit, I can archive their CVs as well.
During the offer stage, there are different stages through which I can track whether the offer is made, whether the offer is accepted or not, etc.

 ### 6. Best on the market

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim I. | Head of People, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Has everything you need for an ATS.
In comparison, it is the best on the market.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

The reporting tool could be more user-friendly.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Maintain overview

**Official Response from Chandler Johnson:**

> Thanks for sharing your experience, Tim! We're happy to see that Lever has proved valuable to your org and earned 4.5 stars from your perspective. We also appreciate the feedback and always look to make improvements.

 ### 7. Great software!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brett S. | Director of BD, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

The candidates who come in tell us how easy it is to apply.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

A lot of people apply who aren't qualified, which isn't on Lever, but better filtering would be great.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

An easy applicantion flow for prospective employees.

 ### 8. Amazing customer support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julio S. | HR Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Lever is very intuitive, friendly-interfaced that can truly take our hiring efforts to the next level.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

The only downside of my experience was trying to enable the ApplyConnect integration but mostly because I was trying to do it all on Lever's side but I found out that you have to enable it on Linkedin's side as well. I gave this feedback and hopefully they will be more prepared to better guide future customers on this integration journey.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manual tasks are being replaced with automations and this is saving time to focus on what really matters. Also, the features allow for a better candidate experience if you set it up right.

**Official Response from Chandler Johnson:**

> That's awesome to hear, Julio! So happy that you're having a great experience and find our solution to be intuitive, user-friendly, and valuable to your time and candidate experience. We also appreciate your feedback regarding integrations. We look forward to continuing to earn this five-star rating!

 ### 9. Excellent

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** sadika a. | Training & Recruitment Specialist, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Ease of integration
Ease of implementation

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Customer Support
Limited Features for use

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever helps solve key problems like disorganized candidate tracking, slow collaboration between hiring teams, and lack of visibility into recruitment progress. By centralizing everything, resumes, interview feedback, communication, and job postings, it makes our hiring process faster, more efficient, and more transparent, which improves both team coordination and the candidate experience.

 ### 10. Great User Interface, But Some Drawbacks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher j. | Guest Experience Guide, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

The user interface was very appealing and easy to navigate

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

The connection of certain features seems to take a bit longer for users

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform is useful for managing scheduling and conducting performance reviews at work. It helps streamline these processes, making it easier to stay organized and keep track of important tasks related to employee management.

 ### 11. Pretty smooth transistion minus a few Hiccups.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

The platform's user interface is very easy to use. I also like the fact that it integrates with a lot of tools that we currently use. Our Implementation Rep Ally Nguyen was awesome and made the implementation process seamless and was there to answer questions anytime for us and moved with speed. Her customer support really made us feel comfortable using Lever. The more we use it as a team and get everyone involved on our team to become frequent users the better it gets.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

The font that is sent in the emails when giving rec approvals and offer approvals is small and it does not have any text wrap featured on the input boxes so it just stretches across the screen horizontally when you have a big paragraph and or Job description in there.

I also would like to be able to edit the offer letter in real-time without having to go back and redo the offer details if a candidate has to make changes.

I would like it if Adobe had the same features as DocuSign for e-signature.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping everything in one centralized platform and easier to track data

 ### 12. Lever has been a great experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Evan P. | Recruiter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Training Material to ensure success of the platform, support staff to answer questions /trouble shoot issues, ease of use. Performance of the application is great. It's a very lightweight/responsive platform that includes everything you want in an ATS.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I haven't quite figured out the reporting piece yet. I'm sure I'll get there. It's a bit hard to follow and not as easy to use as the rest of the platform.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing Candidates, Job postings, Recruitment Automation.

 ### 13. Easy to learn, a lot of integrations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Capital Markets | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

It was easy for me to pickup and learn. Lots of helpful documentation on their site. Their customer support is responsive also.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Some of their features could be more advanced. It seems like their adoption of AI tools is still catching up.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Primarily helped us manage candidate assessment and tracking since we are small and weren't doing it via an ATS before. Biggest improvements since adoption have focused on using their automations to create workflows that help automate repetitive tasks (like emailing rejected candidates) and also integration with technical assessment providers.

 ### 14. Smooth Transition To New Lever ATS Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Reva O. | Senior Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Ease of use.
Fairly intuitive.
We are able to complete tasks quicker.
Posting jobs has been very efficient and easy to track in one place.

Ally Nguyen and Tom Marino have been great to work with, making the transition as seamless as possible. They have given us consistent support and assistance in guiding us through the process, and customizing it to our needs

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

It does not carry over resume and notes when adding a candidate from LinkedIn Recruiter to Lever ATS

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's giving us a reliable, secure, user friendly tracking system.

 ### 15. Best ATS

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mental Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

We've been using Lever as our ATS, and it’s been a game-changer for our hiring process. The platform is intuitive, easy to navigate, and has significantly improved collaboration across our team. From sourcing to scheduling, everything is streamlined. Highly recommend it for growing teams looking to scale their recruiting efforts efficiently.

I also want to shout out Tom, our Implementation Specialist. Working with Tom on the implementation of our new system was a great experience. He led the project with clarity, organization, and consistent support. Tom kept everything on track, communicated effectively, and made sure the team felt informed and involved at every step.

His calm, solutions-focused approach helped us navigate challenges smoothly, and his dedication played a big role in the successful rollout. I truly appreciated his leadership and would gladly work with him again.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I wish we could change the color scheme.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing our recruitment process.

 ### 16. UI / UX would be more modern, other than this I like the features.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** İlayda E. | Organizational Efficiency Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Personalization. We can change almost everyhting acct to our needs.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

UI & UX. I dont like the colors and lack of drag & drop features.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recruiyment needs.

 ### 17. Assistant School Leader

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daisy L. | Assistant School Leader, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I love being able to communicate with my peers and scheduling interviews through lever.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I dislike that at times, I am unable to reply to comments when I do not have access to a candidate's profile.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever gives me an opportunity to see all candidate documents.

 ### 18. Lever is an ATS is an very user friendly and easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rajeev R. | Senior Associate - TA, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

The best thing about lever is it is very easy to use and if you want to track your recruitment metrics then you can track it.
As a new user if you have any issue then you can easily reach out to customer support team and I use it very freuquently as we use lever as an ATS.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

2 thing I dislike about lever -
1. Lag sometimes
2. Slow in loading.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The best part is you done have to open your mail everytime for sending separte mails to candidate instead we can easily mail candidates from thier lever profile and they provide few relevant templates as well.

 ### 19. Easy hiring solutions for global workforce

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miles Q. | HR Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Integrating directly with our HRIS, Lever seamlessly pulls our job roles and hiring needs from the system.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Lever is very user friendly, but it's search function leaves a lot to be desired.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever provides us a simple system to manage candidates, applications, and opportunities. It is easy to use and has incredibly detailed reporting options to allow us to manage and review our data and make informed business decisions.

 ### 20. Best ATS I've Used!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Betsy K. | Corporate Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Lever?**

The interface is the best I've used. It's easy to keep pipelines organized, move candidates through different stages, and keep everyone in the hiring process updated on next steps.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

There is not a good way to pause a candidate's progress, especially when a job goes on hold or will be delayed but you're still sourcing candidates.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever allows a central place to receive and manage all candidates for a role and make sure all information is easily accesible. You're able to track when contact has been attempted or made, complete feedback during every round of interview, and go through the offer process.

**Official Response from Jill Fox:**

> Thanks for the review, Betsy!

 ### 21. Lever Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

What I like best about Lever is its intuitive interface and seamless collaboration features that make hiring more efficient and team-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

What I dislike about Lever is that its reporting features can be limited and sometimes lack the depth needed for advanced analytics.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever is streamlining our hiring process by centralizing candidate data and communication, which saves time and improves collaboration across the team.

 ### 22. Very basic ATS, minimal functionality, poor customer service

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gemma B. | Head of People, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Have some integrations available although do not always work as expected

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Poor customer service
Extremely basic functionality
The UI is not intuitive for hiring managers
No slack integration
Email formatting constantly a challenge
No AI or smart features
Reporting is so appalling it's impossible to use

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides applicant tracking at the most basic level

 ### 23. Easy to implement and use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Susan H. | Talent Acquisition Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I find that Lever has been easy to use to add in candidates from various sources, schedule interiews, customize interview templates and add unlimited number of resumes and documents. We actually do use it to search for candidates in the database.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I haven't utilized the Easy Book links in a while. While it would be helpful for most Recruiters, I have found that candidates don't like clicking on a link prior to an initial meeting. I understand as I don't click on links either. I still am able to send out a message with the link, plus give the option to tell me timeframes so I can manually work out the schedule.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever has helped us combine several steps in our recruiting process. Ease of use for current candidate process plus historical data has been very helpful. We're a small company and we were using 3 different systems/software applications to store resumes and track processes when I started.

 ### 24. CRM for Candidates, Proactive Sourcing Level Up!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dawn K. | Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Lever?**

We are in a high tech industry of managing construction of Semiconductor Fabrication Facilities. Lever helps me to cut through skills in resumes to find the perfect fit. It's integration with LinkedIn is critical as I can utilize my LinkedIn Recruiter Seat, which we pay top dollar for, to import candidates to Lever and action. It creates so many efficiencies, it's as if I am three recruiters instead of one!

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

The advanced searching of candidates needs a major overhaul. We have just about 13,000 candidates in archives that I source from regularly and the search function is horrible. We have advanced reporting and Lever was unable to give us training on it. I found that strange that they sell advanced reporting but don't know how to use it themselves. I feel we don't utilize it as well as we could if we had been able to get training.

**Recommendations to others considering Lever:**

Implementation was an easy, guided process that left me as an expert and ready to recruit! Don't hesitate to make the decision. Your efficiency and effectiveness will be greatly increased immediately.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a single recruiter for more than 50 openings, I'm more efficient than ever. I utilize LinkedIn Recruiter search that seamlessly integrates with Lever and helps me track potential applicant reach outs, and puts my hunt on the next level! There is automated nurture email campaigns and many other features that ensures I'm as efficient as possible. These tools help me reach and get engagement from candidates, FAST!

 ### 25. An Easy Transition

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan H. | Corporate Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Lever is my preferred ATS. I love the focus on the candidate and making everything so highly visible it makes things so simple. My hiring managers are so excited to be able to use it compared to our old system. It makes feedback quick and concise and the slack integration is one of the best things we have. My feedback has been so much faster since implementing Lever. The team itself was FANTASTIC. Ally made things easy to understand and simple for us to be able to move everything forward. And the Help Center has answered many of my questions

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I haven't run into any downsides so far. My biggest thing is by the end of the day is have 20 lever tabs open since it opens a new tab everytime I click into something, but that's a management issue on my end.😅

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The visibility of candidates that we have. Our old ATS was not as focused on candidates and with Lever it gives high visibility not only to me as a recruiter but hiring managers, as well as internal candidates with referrals.

 ### 26. LEVER review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I like Lever’s intuitive interface and how it makes collaboration easy across the hiring team.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Some of Lever’s advanced features can feel limited and require extra customization.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever is helping us streamline the hiring process, making it faster and more organized.

 ### 27. HROps managing Lever integration with BambooHR

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David H. | HR Operations Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I was part of the TA team before becoming HROps, and for me it was very visual to follow the evolution of the candidate in the different parts of the process. Also, I really appreciated the automatic creation of mails, and the link with my Google calendar to schedule meetings.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Now that I'm in the HROps team, we found many integration failures with BambooHR. There is a lack of information, the information is not passed on in full, and we have problems when creating offers. There is a lot to improve with the integration with BambooHR.
Also, we dont have a CSM available, so we need to open tickets everytime.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

is our only ATS, so TA team, managers and HROps team have access to manage their candidates and processes. Also Finance team has access to validate requisitions, so we use a single tool for recruitment as a source of truth.

 ### 28. A whimsical walk through the woods

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Koby C. | Junior Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Lever is awesome! It doesn't log me out constantly and allows my interviewers to submit feedback straight from slack and their google calendar. It has calendly links straight in the emails I send out, and its homepage is super simple. Love that it is candidate focused and has a lot of access to high level access

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

The candidate profiles have a lot going on. I prefer having all the information on one page instead of different tabs. I think it would be easier if I could scroll down and see the notes and feedback instead of clicking on different tabs. We haven't used it a lot yet becuase we don't have a lot of roles open, but I may get used to it.I do miss being able to leave notes once I archive someone as well

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes it easier for hiring managers to access and leave feedback.

 ### 29. Decent ATS with good CS

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** G B. | Lead Recruiter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Lever?**

It’s reasonably priced for the features it offers, and their customer service and support are excellent!
i like the ease of scheduling candidates with separate invites to the Hiring Managers and the nurture flow campaign.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

It would be more helpful if there were additional filtering options in resume review, such as filtering by education or location, rather than manually searching for those keywords in resumes.

Additionally, having an export option (e.g., a .csv file) for all active candidates in a job posting would be great. This export could include details such as education, application responses, experience, and current company, making it easier to manage candidates. Tougher and more time consuming to do resume review in Lever.

It lacks the ability to search a broad candidate pool (similar to LinkedIn - workable has this) to recruit passive talent and email them directly. A feature like Workable's email credits for sourcing candidates who haven’t applied before would be a great addition.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever helps streamline our recruitment process by making it easier to track candidates and manage relationships. It saves time by organizing applications and posting jobs globally in a few clicks.

 ### 30. Great Potential

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenny P. | Fellow, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Custom reporting has increased abilities as you can create custom fields to make reports easier to build around company needs. Fairly simple to use and easy to teach others who have never used an ATS before, leaving everything in one program with notes, forms and visibiltiy to see what is happening with the candidate real time. Some updates have pushed optimization leaps and bounds in the process and prospects for future ease.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

With the removal of dedicated CRMs, it can be frustrating and hard to get good one on one exprience as you have to explain your vision again and again. Not allowing custom standard applications make it so candidates have to basically apply twice. Difficult to prevent duplicate applicants and being able to create custom dashboards for certain users to see vs housing in data explorer is a miss.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing reporting to show ROI on expanding the recruiting team and showing what it really takes to fill roles as well as % rate of hiring. We are in consulting and conditional offers are a majority of what we do

 ### 31. About UI- Its very good

None, the UI is very good and friendly to a new user

 ### 32. Lever for recruiting

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Very organized

Lots of areas to add notes, files, feedback, etc

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Maybe this is just how my company uses it, but I don't find it very user friendly. There's so much going on, it's hard to find exactly what I'm looking for (like specific candidates for a specific job)

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of internal job applicants and their interview history/feedback as well as managing job postings. It's good to have all that info in one place.

 ### 33. Intuitive and Functional, But Needs Bug Fixes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Functionality, intuitive. easy to use, makes sense.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

bugs in system, updates causing problems and customization functionality loss.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ATS system, and candidate applications.

 ### 34. Best for referrals

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Very easy to use and good platform to refer

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Nothing to dislike this, everything is good

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Good way of shortlisting of applications

 ### 35. Smooth Process, Intuitive Tool, Talented Senior Implementation Specialist

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lexy J. | Director, Global Talent Acquisition, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Lever provides incredible capabilities in support of dashboarding and reporting. The functionality is intuitive, the system is easy to navigate, and the req management is tracked seamlessly with custom feature build outs and best practices built in. Our Senior Implementation Specialist, Alex Lecko was a true SME on the system. he navigated our questions with ease and resources at his fingertips to guide us through the implementation process. We are very grateful he was our point of contact through this!

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

The only challenge we've found is specific to our business having grown by acquisition with many entities, currencies, and global components that Lever isn't quite robust enough yet to navigate.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever is supporting us as our Applicant Tracking System but offers so much more such as requisition creation and management, job board posting alignment, metrics (time to fill, time to hire) reporting, candidate flow, interviewing standardization, and more.

 ### 36. Worst Support & Buggy Product

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Because their product is an ATS plus CRM, the number of features is high; however, this product always creates problems and is not stable. As a result, despite being a good product, its usage and product adoption are very low. This product sells a lot due to its CRM nature, but there are still many legacy models, and they are slowly improving it. However, if your company hires in large numbers, this product may not be right for you. As I mentioned, it creates a lot of problems, and you won't get any support from them, so you won't be able to solve those problems. Otherwise, it is a pretty good product, but it is not stable, and their support team does not provide any assistance. They do not care; despite being human, they give robotic responses regardless of how you message them. Their response is always the same; in fact, they do not read your messages properly. If you check their reviews, nearly all customers have mentioned their terrible support, and I am surprised that they have not made any changes after that.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

There are many reasons to dislike it, but since I myself am a follower of technology, I understand that issues can arise in technology. However, what bothers me the most about this platform is the instability of their product and their world's worst support system. Imagine the worst possible level of your imaging capabilities; that's the level of their support. There are always some problems with their reporting features. Their integration with LinkedIn is very poor, and if you face any issues with LinkedIn integration, they play a blame game and won't provide you with a solution. I have many tickets that have been open for 3 to 4 months, and these people have still not provided any solution. In fact, they don't even pay attention; they just keep replying to your tickets so that you feel they are working, but that is even more frustrating because looking at their tickets, replying to them, and spending more time on them is exhausting.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Just like all application tracking systems help in recruitment, this platform is also one of them. However, this platform is not very special for us. But it could have been special for us if it had been useful. There are some benefits that I think, such as their tagging system and creating custom fields; this is a somewhat advanced feature, but as of today, every application tracking system can provide you with these features.

 ### 37. Lever is a WONDERFUL product!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie D. | Consultant, TA Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I love how easy it is to use. The interface is clean and simple. We also lucked out with having Ally Nguyen as our implementation specialist and she was THE BEST. She made the process wildly easy and was so quick to respond to all our inquiries.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I don't love that the candidates that apply are called opportunities. I think for simplification; they should just be called candidates.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The management of candidates! Lever is leaps and bounds above the system we had in place and superior to the other products we saw.

 ### 38. Specifically for campus recruiting, It does the job without any additional benefits or frills.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I really enjoy Lever's feedback feature. It's super helpful to host all feedback about candidates in one place. It’s also helpful to have all email correspondence linked to the candidate. From a lateral hiring perspective, it’s helpful. You can track candidates progress and recruiting agencies can easily upload candidates.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

From a campus recruiting perspective, it is basically just a place to store candidate applications. You are not able to track candidate progress or have a history of how many people made it to a specific stage (once the candidate has been noted as no offer). You also aren’t able to pull all the necessary information for each job posting. It would be so much better if the export feature would let you simply customize per job posting, specific job posting questions/responses, export by all school information or application year…

From a campus perspective, I think there are many more other tools out there that have captured that market better than lever.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever allows us to see candidates that apply to our program all in one place. It's benefiting me by not having to manually track all that information.

 ### 39. Grassroots Nonprofit Hiring With Lever (2024)

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Lever?**

The UI and organization structure of individual candidate histories is extremely intuitive. It was easy to set up email notifications anytime we received a new application and to add additional team members into the mix with particular candidates or roles. The synchronization of email inboxes with candidate communications on the platform is extremely helpful as well (you can email a candidate in Lever OR in your email and it will track the correspondences regardless).

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Some of the formatting for job postings and posting new roles was a bit cumbersome. I also wish there was a more streamlined way to create new communications templates or edit existing templates without having to navigate away from what you're doing and going into your settings. These are pretty granular pieces, however, and definitely don't outweigh it's usefulness.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking overall interest and the number of candidates for each role we're hiring for. Storing communications over long periods of time for candidates - including those who aren't a good fit for one particular role, but end up applying for another.

 ### 40. It is a true ATS and does not integrate with our HRIS

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tabatha H. | Director of HR, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Lever generates good reports and it serves as a great repository for resumes and records. The background services company VerifiedFirst integrates with Lever

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Does not integrate with Paycor. It is truly a stand alone. Does not merge records well. I do not like the offer feature. The system will not allow for you to send out additional documents or policies along with the offer. We have had to make adjustments to our processes to ensure the NDA, and Job Description gets signed during onboarding because these documents could not be a part of the offer template

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paycor had a recruitment module but it was not comprehensive

 ### 41. Great, some things could use improvement but overall; it's better than Greenhouse in some aspects

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Lever?**

I really like the ability to save drafts all in one place in terms of emails and scheduling.
Pipeline view is pretty straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

I dislike how you can't view a panel's calendar more clearly when you look at the availability. it doesn't give you the option to expand things large enough to view the names of events on peoples calendars without clicking on the events over and over.

There have been some clunky areas technically (default feedback form we can't change, interviewers/employees we can't set up properly, etc.)

I wish we were able to get more support on how to learn how to use visual insights (have a rep walk us through things).

**Recommendations to others considering Lever:**

when scheduling large panels, always have your google calendar/calendar system up in a separate window so you can see everything all at once in front of you as opposed to clicking back and forth between windows and losing your place/mixing up times.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

in terms of notifications and personal tracking, it's really helpful to get all mentions and updates in one place. it's our only ATS so we rely on it pretty heavily.

 ### 42. Lever is a great Applicant Tracking System!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah L. | Director of People and Culture, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Lever is intuitive, easy to use once you are familiar with it, and very customizeable to your needs.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

It took a little bit to learn how it works, and when you want to add a new section / feature, you have to do a little digging to find out how to do something, and takes a little bit of trial and error.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to post jobs on Craigslist and other places and have people email us their resumes. We would then save them into Google Drives and share those. Everything was so manual and time-consuming. It is really nice to have everything about an applicant live in one place and to be able to communicate with them via email directly on the platform and have it synced to our emails. And there is no downloading of anything - everything just lives in an applicant's page - their resume, the way they answered out questions, interview feedback forms, refernce calls, etc. And to be able to move them from one stage of recruitment to the next, archive, etc. It's made this process so much more organized and streamlined. What a game changer!

 ### 43. Worth rolling out across the country nationwide!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Lever?**

We started using Lever at one local store and were so impressed that we quickly rolled it out nationwide! The implementation was smooth, and its user-friendly interface made the transition seamless for our entire team. Lever is packed with amazing features, integrates effortlessly with Checker for background checks, and offers seamless integration with Outlook email. Plus, their customer support is top-notch! Highly recommend for any business looking to streamline their hiring process.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

While Lever has potential, we've faced challenges with slow website loading times and some frustrating GUI issues. Tech support can also be quite slow to respond, adding to the frustration. On a positive note, they do eventually address and fix the issues, but the delays can be a significant pain point.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lever has been a game-changer for our hiring process, solving our ATS problems with its all-in-one platform. It keeps everyone in the loop, allowing all managers to easily view and track where applicants are in the process. Lever's robust communication features ensure that applicants are always kept informed, creating a seamless and efficient experience for everyone involved.

 ### 44. Good

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ragul G. | HR Recruiter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

It help us getting details about levers.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Thee is no dislike but it can make it little more visibility about lever

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Help us to get better understanding in ats

 ### 45. Excellent experience!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anand P. | Senior Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

The user friendly interface, the ease of uploading docs, the follow up mechanism and timely updates.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Nothing specifically, used it several times but could not find any flaws.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ease of referring employees and the status updates with the details of the assigned person. this helps us track the person assigned

 ### 46. Efficient & user friendly system

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Lever has massively improved the candidate experience by ensuring us/hiring managers are consistently on top of things and organised. Candidates can be easily moved into "funnels" and different custom stages.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

The system integration with our HR platform could be improved slightly, particularly in regards to offer/hire stages.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Candidate experience and time to hire

 ### 47. Recent Implementation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Wine and Spirits | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Lever?**

Very user friendly. At this stage of business, we do not need large scale functunality, which can be time consuming and expensive. The efficiency is what I appreciate most. For example, just post in Lever, then the system integrates with multiple job posting platforms.

Ferno Tran was our Implementation Specialist. He did such a great job! Very thorough and knowledgeable. No question was too insignificant to ask. Such a pleasure to work with.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Too new to identify a dislike. I am just getting up to speed on the functionality.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficiency in job posting.
Efficiency in candidate correspondence.
One repository for all resumes.

 ### 48. Senior Recruiter

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cherie L. | Senior Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Lever?**

The ease of use & navigation, the ability to open two instances at once without issue.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

There are some areas that could use tweaking and maybe it's just our version but it is cumbersome to find candidates using old job openings. It is also difficult to switch a candidate from one job req to another. if you change them you have to re-enter the source, and in order to retain all the previous info with the prior req you have to go through a copy process that isnt convenient. In regard to training, we did not receive any formal training, although the video training available through the website is helpful, you cannot ask specific questions as they come up. We asked representatives for some team live training and it was denied.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

its helping us to track activity.

 ### 49. Outstanding Support and Expertise in Lever Implementation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ludovica V. | HR Business Partner for Italy & International Business, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Lever?**

What we appreciated most about Lever is its flexibility in data and privacy management, adapting well to the specific requirements of different countries.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

However, the unified pipeline presents challenges, as it forces us to include certain steps only relevant in specific regions. This setup requires HR to manually manage candidate movement through each stage, as delegating this to hiring managers could lead to confusion with steps unique to certain countries, potentially complicating the hiring process.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What we appreciated most about Lever is its flexibility in data and privacy management, adapting well to the specific requirements of different countries.

 ### 50. Strong ATS with Nice UI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Teodora M. | HR Program Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Lever?**

What I value most about Lever is their collaborative approach with clients. Their product team has allowed us to work closely with product managers, offering feedback on new features and suggesting improvements to existing ones. Their help articles are thorough and easy to navigate, making troubleshooting straightforward and it is especially nice not having to wait for support. I appreciate how they proactively address common issues in their documentation. Additionally, I’m impressed with their new user dashboard which they recently launched, which consolidates key data like interviews and approvals for all users.

**What do you dislike about Lever?**

Lever's biggest weakness is its reporting capabilities. The interface isn’t very user-friendly or intuitive, which makes it hard to filter and find the data we need. For example, while we can filter requisitions by recruiter, we can’t filter by hiring manager, which means we have to pull a separate report which ends up being a bit time-consuming. It would also be nice to have more customization options. As a global company, we have specific needs, but the platform feels like it’s all or nothing when it comes to enabling features. Lastly, the formatting options for the careers sites (both internal and external) are super limited. You can’t move text around, bold, italicize, or format anything, so the job postings end up looking pretty bland compared to other ATS platforms.

**What problems is Lever solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem that lever has helped us solve is the automation of many processes. Our approvals for offers and requisitions was a manual process that was done over email and now all that is automated by Lever. Lever's automation workflows also relieve us from having to send many manual emails to candidates and internal users such as hiring managers, employees, referred candidates so that has been a huge win for us!
