Kyubit Business Intelligence Reviews & Product Details

I find the quick and easy analysis capability of Kyubit Business Intelligence very valuable and appreciate its flexible usability. There are many possibilities for users who frequently use the application. I particularly like the analysis mode, which makes it easier for me to create dashboards, and the standard features that work well. The creation of analyses, the drag-and-drop feature, as well as the sorting and filtering functions are very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For users who do not frequently deal with it, the operation is not entirely intuitive. There are indeed documents, but they are rather long and in English, which deters some users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very little the product is great overall. Some small usability features could be improved. For example it can be a little cumbersome to drop measures or dimensions in sometimes which is frustrating, a larger drop area would be appreciated. Snappy performance, quick to build analyses, crisp looking interface. Straightforward sharing with multiple user groups. Nice automatic documentation of analysis parameters if you export a view/report to Excel. Ability to easily drill expand into additional detail on only certain values in a series without having to "drill into" only that value or show same level of detail on all values in a series adds flexibility. Needs to have the ability to insert calculated columns or rows to perform math operations on values in a series - e.g. summing together the measures for a few values into a partial subtotal, or temporarily perform a calculation operation on two measures without needing to add a new measure to the cube structure. Current solution is to export to Excel to do that kind of operation, but it would be great to insert temporary calculations in an analysis. An automated way to apply an "80/20" type filter on a series with many values, to aggregate all the values that have very small impact on a measure as "other" , leaving the focus on the values with the greatest impact on the measure, would be good. Kyubit is a feature rich product that accomplishes core analytical needs at a fraction of the cost of other analytical tools. The Kyubit support team has been very responsive to our needs and we were able to successfully and effectively integrate Kyubit into our existing product with little problems. Charts should be Excel-like when connected with SSAS.
