"Effortless Data Management with Stellar Support"
What do you like best about Keboola?

I have been using Keboola for three years on a daily basis for all data manipulation needs in our company, and I absolutely love its intuitive and easy setup for data flows. The ease with which I can set up data flows, regardless of the type of connector I need, is remarkable. This makes handling diverse data sources seamless by standardizing them into a single table effortlessly. Furthermore, the support team is incredible; they always provide amazing assistance for any questions or problems that arise. The initial setup was really easy for my team, which certainly boosts our productivity. Overall, my experience with Keboola has been extremely positive, and I would score it 9 out of 10 for recommending it to others, contingent mainly on having colleagues or friends who require such a solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Keboola?

I find the Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) a bit confusing at times, particularly in how a small change in the first step of a transformation can have unforeseen impacts on later stages. It's getting better with new features, but it still poses a challenge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Helps connect multiple sources into perfect report, but social media connectors need improvement"
What do you like best about Keboola?

It allows us to work with multiple sources while creating our internal performance report. We use only small parts of what Keboola offers, yet it has helped us a lot. Even someone without knowledge about SQL and other technical details was able to implement our service, with customer support always happy to help - if possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Keboola?

Some of the connectors do not work well - and that is our main pain point, as we are constantly fighting to keep the data coming from social media sites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Keboola is a great starter"
What do you like best about Keboola?

It is there easy to setup from the beginning giving you fresh start when you need POC or smaller data project. It has many connectors , APIs to most common services, great support, wide user base providing you with many custom components. You can chain those components to flows and schedule the to run at particular times or being triggered by events.

It is easy to learn and give access to even newbies to play with.

There is visible progress in time with new features added. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Keboola?

Limited oversight what going on in the project you administer. Few access roles you have does not give you enough control of who can edit or trigger selected flows. It is either all or nothing. You can have multiple branches but conflict resolution was a big no to avoid it, no way to have pull requests.

The overhead running transformation is more significant running small jobs, what database returns you in seconds can take tens of seconds to finish in Keboola.

Billing is also something surprising to me. Especially running Python there to develop is something to better avoid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Martin Lepka of Keboola

Thank you very much for taking the time to share such detailed feedback about your experience with Keboola! 🙏

We’re glad to hear that you find Keboola easy to set up, flexible for POCs and smaller data projects, and that our growing feature set and support team have been helpful along the way.

We also really appreciate your insights about access control, performance, and billing transparency. Feedback like yours helps us refine these areas to make Keboola even more powerful and efficient for all users.

"A good tool for data processing"
What do you like best about Keboola?

I started using Keboola because I needed a replacement for the non-working Sklik connector for Looker Studio. And I've stuck with Keboola. The fact that I've seen mention of it in a number of job postings, and apparently it's commonly used in the industry, also played a role.

What I appreciate about it is the ability to download and process data from each system, ready-made templates and more. You get 120 minutes of time for free to start and then 60 minutes each month. This gives you a decent amount of time to learn and try everything out.

And not to forget the friendly customer support. Without it, I wouldn't be able to do as much as I can.

And I also appreciate the AI's help with writing Snowflake transformations, where especially a beginner can save a ton of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Keboola?

Where I see its disadvantage is the fragmentation around setting up individual services. Each service has its own logic and might be worth unifying somehow.

The other thing I'm not a fan of is the Keboola Academy. I don't know why, but I found it hard to use. So I soon started looking for information elsewhere and eating by trial and error.

Maybe make it more practical and then for a beginner not be so quick to delete their projects. I didn't get around to it for two weeks and I already got an email around deleting the project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Martin Lepka of Keboola

Hi Vojtech!

Thank you for your detailed and honest review! We're really glad that Keboola has grown with your needs—from solving an initial issue with Looker Studio to becoming a more advanced tool in your data workflow. It's also great to hear our templates, free tier, and AI-assisted transformations have been helpful, especially as you're getting started. And thank you for the kind words about our support team—they’ll be happy to hear it.

We really appreciate your feedback on the setup experience, the Academy, and project retention—it’s clear and actionable, and we’ll definitely take it into account as we work on making the platform more beginner-friendly and consistent. Thanks again for taking the time to share your journey.

"Keboola - Streamlined Search, Complex Inserts – A Balanced Take"
What do you like best about Keboola?

Effortless Table Search: The ability to search for tables in storage is fast, accurate, and very user-friendly.

Column-Level Search: Searching for a specific column across tables is exceptionally smooth, saving time during data exploration.

Data Sample Feature: The option to preview a limited number of rows from a table helps with quick validation and data checks.

Simple Table Creation: Creating new tables is straightforward and efficient, with a clean UI that supports rapid schema setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Keboola?

Complex Insert Process: Inserting data into tables is not as intuitive as it should be, particularly when dealing with primary key definitions and updates.

Lack of Duplicate Row Logs: When duplicate rows are rejected due to primary key constraints, there’s no clear log showing how many rows were skipped or what those rows contained. A detailed error log would be highly beneficial.

Unintuitive Table Naming Convention: Table names include hyphens (-) instead of underscores (_), which can be problematic when integrating with other systems or adhering to naming standards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Martin Lepka of Keboola

Thank you very much, Rajesh, for your thorough and balanced feedback! We're delighted to hear you're finding great value in Keboola's table and column search capabilities, quick data sampling, and simplified table creation.

Your insights on data insertion complexities, especially regarding primary key handling and clearer duplicate row logging, are extremely valuable. We've noted your suggestion about the naming conventions as well, and we'll definitely take it into consideration to improve system compatibility.

We're committed to making your experience even smoother, so feel free to reach out anytime if you'd like assistance or to discuss these points further. Thanks again for helping us grow! ML

"My Experience with Keboola as a Junior Data Analyst"
What do you like best about Keboola?

I have to say that coming across Keboola at the beginning of my career as a Data Analyst was the best experience I could have had. The integration with Snowflake works flawlessly, making the workspaces intuitive. Keboola works even better when a company has strong Data Governance. The Keboola Academy helped me the most at the start, but I still return to it—and as I gain more experience, I continue to get even deeper context from it.

I use Keboola almost on a daily basis. I haven’t needed to contact customer support, as my supervisor is able to answer all of my questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Keboola?

So far, I haven’t come across many things that would seriously bother me or make my work more difficult. However, one thing I do find frustrating is that after an error occurs in a transformation or configuration, the AI Explain tool doesn't work very well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Martin Lepka of Keboola

Hi Zbynek,

Thank you for such a thoughtful and inspiring review!!!

We’re especially honored to hear that Keboola has been a positive part of your journey as a junior data analyst. That’s exactly what we strive for: making data work approachable, intuitive, and powerful for users at every stage of their career. It’s also great to hear that the Keboola Academy has been a useful companion as you’ve grown — we love knowing it’s helping both beginners and more advanced users alike.

Thanks for pointing out the issue with the AI Explain tool — that’s really valuable feedback. We know that error handling is a key moment in the data development workflow, and we’re continuously working to improve the accuracy and helpfulness of our error explanations, especially with AI assistance. Your experience will help guide those improvements.

Keep up the amazing work — we’re excited to keep supporting you as you continue to grow your skills and impact through data. ML

"The Must Have Data Platform to Prepare for AI Success"
What do you like best about Keboola?

Keboola is the tool every business should be using right now if they want to centralise their data, streamline operations and lay the foundation for AI. The platform makes it incredibly easy to connect data sources, automate transformation workflows and get data ready for analysis all without needing a large engineering team. The flexibility to use both no code and code based components (SQL/Python) is a game changer and it empowers both analysts and engineers to collaborate in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Keboola?

There’s a bit of a learning curve at first, especially if you're not used to data pipeline tools, but the documentation is strong and the customer support is excellent. Once you’ve built your first few pipelines, everything clicks into place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Martin Lepka of Keboola

Hi Elliot,

Thank you so much for this incredible review — it really means a lot coming from you.
