I find Justworks easy to use for my HR needs, especially when I’m looking for information about benefits and pay. I like the intuitive interface on the benefits and payment pages. They make it easy to see my gross pay, deductions, taxes, net pay, and pay dates, and to change my contributions or sign up for or cancel benefits right in the app. Having that information visible is really helpful, especially at tax time, and makes my personal accounting very efficient. I also like the org chart’s UI because it helps me understand who to contact on other teams. The app looks pretty, too. I think the documents page could be better. Documents are filed under a few big headings, but the names are generic, so I have to click through and download them to figure out what they are. I wish I could preview them in the app or see a summary first. I’ve also marked my personal device to be saved for login, but Justworks still asks me for two-factor authentication each time. It handles the basics really well, but if you need more advanced tools, like deeper reporting, integrations, or built-in time tracking—you often have to rely on add-ons or external systems. Despite paying a premium, I have not saved time using their services because their service support is either very slow (i.e. 7-10 weeks to resolve issues) or they completely fail to provide the correct documentation (i.e full W2 forms). We switched over to them mid-year and gave them all W2 info from the previous provider during onboarding, but they did not send full year W2 forms to employees. I asked them to correct this and they flat out refused. This is one example of an issue that will take me hours to resolve and likely cost me thousands of dollars. This is my #1 choice for PEOs. The platform is easy to use and navigate, organized and well laid out. From onboarding employees, setting up and enrolling in benefits, 401k, to making personnel changes to salary, titles, etc. this platform is the absolute best. I also love that employers still have control and the ability to make changes on their own as opposed to other PEO platforms. The biggest challenge we experienced with Justworks was customer support. After we transitioned off the platform, it was extremely difficult to retrieve historical employee documents that were needed for our records.
