This integration helps save both time and money for our organization by streamlining the audit process. The engagement is straight forward thanks to the assigned project manager. As with any compliance audit, it is incumbent for the requestor to accurately scope the audit and complete a system description before the audit begins. If this is the first audit, completing the system description can be very time consuming, but it's essential and serves as a foundation for the engagement. Additionally, the system description must accurately detail sub-service organizations, complimentary user controls, and data types. Although Johanson Group can provide guidance, they system description is the responsibility of the requester. Our company is in an industry sector requiring SOC compliance. We needed an auditor that could reliably execute an audit in our agreed upon time frames, flexible enough to adapt to changes, able to integrate with our compliance platform Secureframe, and deliver a report sufficient to fulfill the compliance requirements of our partners and customers. What problems is Johanson Group solving and how is that benefiting you?

We kicked off our SOC2 compliance process in 2024.

First of all, we achieved SOC2 Type I cert with Johanson Group (excellent auditing works!), and we were ready for the auditing at the end of 2024.

We had two problems - we had key people on the process taking long periods off; we needed to time to go through internal reviews first.

Thus, we pushed SOC2 Type II auditing dates 6 months out (from the original starting date Johanson Group and us agreed to, and we paid for).

Johanson Group not only agreed to standby for that period, but also, give us clear path how to get ourselves ready for the audit along the way, not loose sight of the goal/new-timing, for a smooth auditing.

We are very pleased with the professional service we get from Johanson Group and confident that we will achieve Type II done in time with Johanson Group.
