"Great product for knowledge management and employee recognition"

What do you like best about Intranet Connections?

The customizability of the platform is great. I was able to find a part of the system that was helpful for each of the areas that we were looking to improve, including employee recognition, knowledge management, and internal communications. The features provided are very user friendly and have helped us connect people and departments internally that previously lacked a platform for communication. What do you dislike about Intranet Connections?

There is a strong learning curve as you might have with any new platform. With more customizability, comes more things to understand about posting new content. Recently, we have also had some difficulty getting our systems to update with theirs. The customer service has been great over the past couple of years, however, with some turnover in their company recently, we have been passed to new individuals and are now having a hard time moving forward with updates. Intranet Connections has helped our employee engagement and employee recognition abilities immensely. We have been able to connect individuals and create an environment where information can be shared and tracked, people can be recognized for their achievements while cutting down on emails, and staff can stay informed on upcoming events, news, and changes. What do you like best about Intranet Connections?

Personalized information. They did a very good job at having a dialog with us and understanding what we wanted, and then showed us ways to leverage the software to achieve that goal. What do you dislike about Intranet Connections?

We have come across several features that we wish that they had, for example, an automatic advancement of review dates. They have, however, been very good about accepting and passing along suggestions that we've made when we encounter these situations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Intranet Connections:

Make sure that you have done a thorough vetting of the tools and features that you will need and review that list often as you vet different providers. IC does offer a very wide variety of features, but be sure to review the documentation available to understand whether it fits your needs. Engage the staff, we have found them to be very honest and helpful. If they don't offer a feature or a function, they have been very forthcoming with that information. What problems is Intranet Connections solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our biggest issue is keeping the same information in front of all staff, creating a single source of truth, as they put it. Our previous intranet solution did not help us manage all of the information, and very quickly it was filled with old and/or erroneous information. What do you like best about Intranet Connections?

Reach provides our organization with a private, secure, consistent communications network that enables our staff to collaborate, store and share the information they require to do their jobs. With it, they can rely on finding that “single source of truth” when they need it. The clean interface ensures all levels of staff can capably self-serve their information needs with this product’s robust search engine. There are few features that I dislike about this provider and their products. My only complaint would be a recent upgrade no longer scrubs formatting from copy that I wish to paste into pages; this is minor and can be handled by a work around. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Attention to Detail and Desire to Help Their Clients Truly Be Successful"

What do you like best about Intranet Connections?

IC Thrive and the team do a great job of providing customers with a practical and useful tool for all things communication and workplace efficiency. We recently participated in their Intranet Optimization Program which allowed the IC Thrive team to take a deep dive into our Intranet to ensure we were getting the most out of it. Alfie and Pronoy led the charge and provided us with a couple of very practical and useful tips to increase engagement and usage. The timing of the IOP could not have been better on our end, as we were just wrapping up an Intranet clean-up project that was long overdue. During the project, we were able to remove over 100 pieces of outdated content to help ensure our team members were finding the most accurate and up-to-date information. The IOP wasn't about trying to force new products or things on our organization, but a way for us to maximize what we were already doing. Overall, I think IC Thrive is a great platform for us. What do you dislike about Intranet Connections?

Whether it's big or small, we seem to always have something wrong happening/going on. (Albeit, not always at the fault of IC Thrive)

We've often gotten a few "well, we've never seen it do this before, or we're not sure why it's doing that" but the Support team always finds a way to right the ship for us.

The IC Thrive platform could use a much better Chat function, as the current one (which is turned off due to some performance issues) is just really lacking overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Intranet Connections solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our biggest gripe from staff over the years has been outdated content, incorrect information and site performance issues. As I mentioned previously, our internal Intranet Clean-Up Project was a big help in resolving a lot of the ongoing issues that we've heard about from staff. We've tried to push staff to go to the Intranet first and then pick up the phone or send an e-mail if they've exhausted all of their available options within the Intranet.

Having an Intranet where the content is being better managed and maintained has helped close the gap on those internal issues. There's always a constant push from those of us who are Admins to the Intranet to encourage more usage and utilization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
